Chapter 5 #4
“What about your other brothers?” I asked, groaning as she continued to do it. My fingers dug into her hips to slow her down, but the pain only seemed to ignite a new fire in her.
Shit. She was going to be the end of me.
“I want your dick inside of me, Kendrick,” she moaned, moving up and sliding my cock down her pussy lips, the tip at her clit, soaking in her arousal. “I need you inside of me.”
“Fuck,” I groaned. “Ride me, baby.”
She didn’t need to be told twice. Sliding the tip of my cock to her entrance, she slowly slid down my cock until I was fully seated in her.
Taking a moment to adjust to me, she threw her head back, her nails digging into my chest before she slowly started to move up and down on me.
Her head fell forward and she kept her eyes on mine as she rode slowly.
It was intense and meaningful. I’d never wanted to stare into a woman’s eyes as she rode me like this.
I wanted Darby in a way that scared me, a way that was going to be a weakness in the future, but I couldn’t stop.
She felt like she was made for me.
“Kendrick, you feel so fucking good,” she moaned as she picked up the pace. “As much as I love being on top, can you please fuck me hard?”
I was pushing her to her back in the next second, pulling her leg up over my shoulder and hammering into her. My lips crashed down onto hers, our kiss was hard, our teeth clashing as I fucked into her with a power I didn’t realise I had. It was almost like I wanted to brand her from the inside out.
Mine, mine, mine – all fucking mine!
Her pussy choked my cock in the next few pumps and pushed me over the edge, spilling into her.
I really should have been worried that I was fucking her raw but something inside of me wanted to keep doing it, to push my cum back into her when it leaked out.
I didn’t want to figure out what that meant but I knew this had to stop.
I couldn’t keep fucking her. I had a job to do and I needed to be in charge if I was going to continue to protect her. I pulled out of her and fell to the bed next to her, our breathing heavy.
Even when the room fell silent, I knew she was still awake, and I knew I was running out of time to tell her before she found out so I bit the bullet.
“I have to tell you something.”
“What is it?” she asked, her eyes drifting closed. I rolled to my side, and looked down at her. She lifted her eyelids up and smiled up at me that had my chest clenching.
“The Destructive Sons are gone,” I said. “We blew up their clubhouse.”
Her smile disappeared and she sat up, her eyes searching mine for maybe deception, but she wouldn’t find any. “They were inside.”
I nodded.
“Why?”
“You know why,” I told her. “Are you angry they’re dead?”
She shook her head but I think she was in shock more than anything. “It’s surreal…I never really loved any of them. Not really…and I knew they were bad people but…why am I still here?”
I sat up, and pulled the sheets up to cover myself. “One of them wasn’t in the clubhouse and we don’t know what his plans are.”
“He’ll seek retribution,” she said, her voice full of panic. “He’ll blow your clubhouse up.”
“We don’t know about that…he’s travelling with kids and even though he appears to be coming down here for you, we just don’t know what his plan is.”
“Kids? Why would any of them be traveling with kids?”
“Your brother Bran had a kid right?”
“Well, yeah Bran had two kids and Colm had four I think,” she said. “But they never saw them. Bran only had custody to see one kid and that’s because the mum was a junkie whore who didn’t care about him.”
“Turns out Bran was at home taking care of him when it happened,” I told her. “He hasn’t tried to reach out so we don’t know what his plan is. We’re watching him.”
She seemed to be taking this really well. I was waiting for the other shoe to drop, for something to come out that turned her against me. Her family were pieces of shit, sure, but knowing that they were dead was different. This definitely wasn’t what I expected.
“Did you wait until you’d fucked me to tell me this?” she asked me, her eyes turning glacial. She got off the bed and bent to retrieve her clothing.
And there it was.
“No,” I tried to stop her, but I knew she probably needed to run from me right now. “I wanted to tell you this whole time, but I was told to keep it from you.”
“And you always do what you’re told to do,” she spat. “Clearly not, Rebel.”
She grabbed onto the door handle and opened the door but stopped in her tracks, slowly turning back to me.
“Did you say Bran was the one taking care of his kid?”
“Well, yeah, it’s his kid.”
“Bran never looked after anything in his life and if it meant giving up a party, there’s no way. He didn’t love his kids, just like my dad didn’t love any of us.”
Shit, none of us would have thought about that.
“So, who would it be?”
“The only person, other than Keefe, who would look after any of the next generation was Riagan.”
“Your eldest brother?”
She nodded. “And out of all of us, he and Bran looked the most alike.”
“Would he come after you?”
She shrugged. “I don’t know. I never really thought he cared enough, but if Dad had a deal with someone and I was that payment then maybe.”
“No one is going to take you, Darby,” I said. “I promise.”
“I bet you make a lot of promises, Rebel. Right now, I don’t want to hear them.”
She slammed the door after her and stomped down to her room. At least she couldn’t get out without the code but everything she’d just told me was more than a little interesting and was definitely something the club needed to know.
I grabbed my phone and called Wolf. He knew the Destructive Sons the best, so if he wasn’t sure of who he was looking at, I needed to know why.
