34. Ream #2

“What the fuck was that, Christian? You kissing bitches on the lips and only allow me to kiss your damn cheeks!” Her eyes were starting to well up with tears.

“When you walk into a person’s house you speak to everyone you see.

” My mom stood to her feet and walked closer until she was standing directly in front of us.

Hate was in her eyes, and I knew she never cared for Crystal, but this look was different.

My mom had that look like she wanted to kill Crystal.

“I don’t have to speak to someone that never speaks back when I do speak.” Crystal spat, as I stood in front of my mom.

“You out of your mind right now bitch. Crystal, I fucks with you but not on the level of you trying my mom, especially in front of me.” My voice remained the same as she lowered her head.

“I apologize Mrs. Powers.” My mom stepped from around me and directly into Crystal’s face.

“Fair enough, just one last thing before I leave. I saw you in a place that I despise a couple of days ago. I surely hope that you were walking into that police station to place a police report. You were dressed in business attire like you were clocking in.” My mom smiled as I stepped back and gave her space. There was no way Crystal was a pig.

“Yea, actually I was there to do a report. I have been calling your son for a few days to tell him somebody broke into the condo that I now live in. I was popping up today to tell him that I don’t feel safe there anymore and if I could come live back with him.

” Her eyes misted over, and I actually felt a little bad for her.

“Son, one question, I have for you.” My mom smiled and placed her hands behind her back, clasping them together.

“Do you believe what this freckle face bitch is saying?” my mom stare could break a weak man, it was lethal.

I stared right back at her and shook my head yes.

Crystal being a pig was farfetched. My mom never liked her especially when she lived with me.

“Whoa, chill out ma.” Crystal eyes grew big as she gasped for air. My mother had her hand wrapped tight around her neck as her sharp nails dug into Crystal’s neck.

“One day soon, I picture myself killing you. My intuition is always right just like my son’s henchman Solo’s intuition.

If something was to happen to my only son, I promise you bitch, I will kill off your whole fucking family and save the best for last. Something ain’t right about you and I will get to the bottom of it soon.

” She pushed her by the neck causing Crystal to fall to her knees.

She coughed hard as she took in deep breaths.

“Crystal, go to your old room. I will get with you soon.” I wouldn’t dare step behind my mom and cater to her even though, I felt like my mom was wrong at what she had done. Once Crystal was out of ear shot, I looked at my mom in disbelief as she shrugged her shoulders.

“Love don’t fit into the equation nor does feelings when you running some shit like the dynasty.

You got a bitch in your room whose brother was your enemy, that you didn’t kill.

Another bitch that I just saw a couple of days walking into a police station on the other side of your house.

You’re starting to disappoint me son. Make better decisions or turn this shit over to Solo.

” She walked away and opened the front door; her guards were standing right back on my doorsteps waiting for her.

She held her hand out as one of the guards took hand sanitizer out and damn near squeezed the whole small bottle into her hands.

Rubbing her hands together, the guard that still had her long white gloves stepped up as she held her hands out like the queen she was.

He nervously slid her gloves on each hand as she looked at me one last time. Pulling me close she hugged me tight and kissed me on the forehead.

“Think smarter son, I don’t want the dynasty falling apart.

” She tapped me under my chin and walked off.

I wanted to tell her ass that she could’ve called and said everything she just said on the phone.

My mom was always paranoid of something going wrong.

When she didn’t want to focus on her own issues at hand, she placed her focus on me.

Crystal being a cop? Nah, that was way out.

Shaking my head, I closed my front door and made my way to the other side of my house where Crystal was.

Before I approached the door, I heard her crying softly. I opened the door all the way and entered, taking a seat right next to her on the edge of the bed.

“You like her a whole lot, don’t you?” she looked up at me and I nodded my head yes. I never pictured myself admitting to some shit like this, but I refused to deny how I was really starting to feel when it came to Mattea.

“Why her? I’ve been trying to step my game up Ream. I really love you, I want to be with you.” She stood to her feet as I took in her nice shape, pacing right in front of me.
