Chapter Five #2
I was surprised that it was Jin Woo who answered me; it seemed that he was the more reserved one, but it would make sense, they had said that they were both into it. Here was the proof.
“Hmm, maybe…this?”
Slowly, as if giving me the time to pull away, he leaned forward, two of his fingers on my chin, tipping my face just slightly upwards.
In a slow, smooth movement, he pressed his mouth to mine, slowly parting his lips as if giving me a taste of what was to come.
Ettore didn’t give me a moment to breathe; he replaced Jin Woo in a second, his lips practically scalding mine, a fine boned hand holding my waist with a grip that wasn’t soft or gentle, but hard and predatory. I loved it.
When he pulled away, I was breathing hard, and both of the men were looking at me carefully as if waiting for some reaction, me cursing them, slapping them maybe, but that was the furthest thing from my mind.
“Ok, alright,” I mumbled.
Jin Woo dropped a light kiss on my cheek, smiling in a very self-satisfied way.
“Thank you, naekkeo.”
“Um, you’re welcome.” My brain still mostly mush.
Across the room came a disgusted groan, and anger flashed through the bubbling lust in my stomach.
“Did you say anything? Did you not understand what I said outside?” I said to the lump, who wasn’t a lump, who was also shipwrecked with us.
There was no response.
“That’s what I thought.”
“Our little salvatrice has claws,” Ettore mirthfully said, as he caught up one of my hands and kissed the back of it.
“I like it,” Jin Woo responded, as he pulled me into his lap and scooted both of us closer to Ettore.
“Hey!” I was definitely not used to being very gently manhandled.
“What?” Jin Woo said innocently, “This way we can all fit more easily under the blanket.”
“And it’s easier to do this,” Ettore leaned over and pressed a kiss to my neck before pausing like he was going to pull away, and then dropped another higher up my neck, and then one behind my ear, and then nipped a bite, halfway down my neck, laving his tongue over the place where he had bitten.
Again and again, he bit me, his tongue soothing the delicious burn until I was almost writhing in Jin Woo’s lap.
His lips were wet, and there was a hunger in his eyes when he pulled away from me. There was no laughter in him now. Something hard underneath me distracted me from his dark, burning eyes, but before I could fully process it, I was sandwiched between them again.
“Someone liked that,” Ettore chimed in, the levity once again in his voice, “Don’t worry, little one, once Jin Woo calms down a bit, you’ll be back in his lap.”
I worked very hard not to think about how much it pleased me that I, well, Ettore and I, had turned Jin Woo on that much.
“You know I’m very much not small, I’m definitely not petite, and I am taller than most women. Even in Norway, most women are like 5’6 or 5’ 7.”
“Well,” Jin Woo’s voice was a little rougher than it had been before, “you are smaller than us, so it’s ‘little one’ for you. I think you’re the smallest person on the island.”
“Tch,” I sucked my teeth, “there are only five people on the island. That’s not saying much. Plus,” I poked Jin Woo in his, wow, incredibly hard, stomach, “you all are freakishly tall.”
“We’re not that tall,” Ettore chimed in, but I was not listening anymore.
What were the odds that four tall men, who were not worried at all about water quality, and who could survive a dip in the frigid Atlantic Ocean without any real consequences, were all on the same island at the same time?
“Tesoro,” Ettore said innocently, “do you think that we would associate with someone as brutish as Oskar?”
I noticed that he didn’t say no, not explicitly. He was fey-like. I was learning that I would have to be incredibly explicit and note his exact words going forward.
“Hmm,” was all I said, and I couldn’t help but note that Jin Woo looked a little guilty.
Oskar cleared his throat from across the room.
“We should catch a sheep tomorrow. We don’t have to eat it right away, but we should catch one before we’re too hungry. We should also see if there’s anything edible anywhere else on the island. Mina, you should do that.”
I narrowed my eyes.
“Why?” Because I’m a woman?”
Oskar crossed his unfairly muscled arms over his chest.
“No, because you think that sheep eyes are creepy and you don’t like looking into them, so you’re not going to be helpful at all.”
He was right. I did think that sheep’s faces, and their eyes especially, were creepy, but I hadn’t told anyone that since…
oh, him. I had told him when we were ten.
The fact that he had remembered that did something to me that I tried very hard not to think about.
It felt like the majority of what I was doing here: being hungry and trying not to think of things.
“Ok, I’ll look for food. I think that there might be some mussels on the rocks that we could eat.”
“Oo! I love mussels, especially in haemul jeongol, it’s like a seafish stew!” He must have calmed down a bit because he slipped me up into his lap again absentmindedly, like he had been doing it for years.
Oskar watched him move me with an impassive look on his face. Guilt pricked at the back of my mind, but I aggressively beat it down. He had no claim on me, plus I was just practice for Ettore and Jin Woo. This wouldn’t ever be real.
Would it?
