5. Sincere ‘Sin’
Sincere ‘Sin’
I knew I had her ass hooked with that question. It was only a matter of time until I got her back to my crib. Usually, when a bitch gives me a hard time like this, I’ll just cut her off. However, having Ronnie on my team is just what the fuck I needed.
Lately, I’d been dipping my fingers in lots of illegal stuff, so much that Reese doesn’t even know the shit I’m into.
I’ve been importing cocaine and guns from Jamaica for months now. My nigga Cruz and I got the streets on lock with the good shit. I’ve also been laundering my money through different accounts, that’s why it’s crucial for me to bag this bitch and have her help me out.
“You are crazy.” She giggled, before we were interrupted by the waiter.
“Hi, I’m Donna. Can I take your drink order?” A bad bitch stepped to the table, and my eyes roamed down her body.
I felt something nudged my feet, and my head snapped up to see Ronnie staring at me through narrow eyes.
“Uh, yeah. Lemme get a Sprite, what you want?” I asked her.
“Can I just get a coke, please?” She fidgeted in her seat, and once she lady left the table, she started in on me. he server took our orders before she walked off.
“You that disrespectful to look at her while I'm sitting in front of you?” Ronnie asked with an attitude.
“Shit, you’d rather I did it behind your back?” I countered, and placed my hand on my chest. “I’m an honest man, baby. You won’t find one out here realer than me.”
Her eyes locked with mine behind her glass. “You think that’s you being real?”
“You damn right. I’d rather do it in front of you than sneak around,” I stated confidently, sitting up higher in my chair.
She waved her hand. “The realness is not doing it at all.”
“I don’t know what type of niggas you used to dealing with, ma.
But if you think them muthafuckas wasn’t looking at other bitches behind your back, you’re more na?ve than I thought.
” I’m just keeping it one hundred. Ain’t no nigga walking this earth that’s gone resist a bad bitch when she is in his presence. If he does, the nigga is undercover.
“I thought you would have sense enough to know it made me uncomfortable. One minute you wanna get to know me, and the next you’re gawking at another girl.”
“So, you want an apology?” I took her hand in mine.
She shrugged nonchalantly like she didn’t care, but she did. “That’ll be nice, Sin.”
“I’m sorry about staring.” I smirked when her mouth quirked up in a half smile. “We good now?”
“Yeah, we’re good.”
Just as she said it, the server walked back to the table with our drinks in her hand. It was hard as fuck, but I didn’t look at her this time. I have to remember not to start off on the wrong foot. I’m tryna get some pussy tonight, so I gotta make it seem like I’m trying.
“Alright, tell me about you, though.” I let her hand go.
“What you want to know? My life ain’t that interesting.” Ronnie took a sip of soda. You can tell she doesn’t go on dates often by how she keeps avoiding my gaze.
“I don’t believe that. Tell me about your people.” I sat back in the chair.
I heard about Ronnie Russell in the entertainment world, but I’d rather get the information from the horse’s mouth.
“Well, I think you know my daddy, Dr. Raymond.” I nodded to indicate that I did. “My mama died a few years ago from cancer. Since then, it’s been him and me.”
“No sisters or brothers?”
“Nope,” she answered.
We moved the glasses out of the way since the food was coming next. When the server sat the tray in front of me, she slid a piece of paper under my plate. I took a quick peek and saw that she had written her number on the top.
Discretely, I moved it underneath the table to put it in my pocket.
Shit!
She said don’t look, but her ass ain’t say nothing about fucking on the next bitch later on.
