7. Toni Mensah #2

I shook my head and pulled up the gate controls on my phone. “Yeah. Hold on. I’m openin’ it now.”

Before I could say another word, Renza’s loud ass cut straight through the phone.

“Tell Toni you the one trippin’!”

“Oh, God,” I muttered, closin’ my eyes for a second.

“Renza, if you don’t get off me!”

“Aye, girl! What I tell you about runnin’ from me?”

“I’m tryna go in the fuckin’ house! Get the fuck on Renza!”

The two of ‘em kept yellin’ over each other until I had to pull the phone away from my ear.

I guess Kay’Lo could hear them arguin’, but from the way he listened, it ain’t sound serious enough to make him worry.

He reached over, took the phone out my hand, and tossed the shit to the backseat without even hangin’ up.

‘Nelle and Renza was still cussin’ and fussin’ so loud that every word echoed through the car like they was sittin’ right here with us, but ‘Lo acted like that shit was nothin’ more than background noise.

“Ignore that shit. They good,” he moaned, his dick still hard as he fucked me slow from the bottom to get us back in the mood.

The way he was pushin’ his dick in me had me bitin’ my bottom lip while I rode him slow. It ain’t take long before we was both movin’ faster, and fallin’ right back into that rhythm that always had us losin’ our damn minds.

“Yeah… just like that,” he moaned, smackin’ my ass before keepin’ his hand there, squeezin’ it tight.

My brows pulled together as my body started givin’ in to the intensity of him.

At the same time, I could still hear ‘Nelle and Renza arguin’ loud as hell all the way from the damn backseat. They was goin’ back and forth, but Kay’Lo ain’t pay that shit no attention. He kept fuckin’ me like he ain’t hear not one damn word.

“‘Lo… baby…” I breathed, my voice broken. “You don’t hear them arguin’?”

“Yes, baby…” he moaned low into my neck. “I hear ’em. I just don’t give a fuck right now.”

Before I could say somethin’ else, he grabbed the back of my neck and crashed his mouth against mine. His tongue pushed into my mouth as he kissed me hard, and I slid my hand to the back of his head and kissed him right back.

Then all of a sudden I heard ‘Nelle and Renza’s voice much louder as if they was right by the damn window.

“I’m not doin’ this shit with you Renza! Go be with ol’ girl and I’mma do me! The fuck?” Sha’Nelle shouted.

“Do you? Girl you was just fuckin’ me! You said all this bullshit just for you to turn around and change yo’ fuckin’ mind! I fuckin’ told you, I don’t want Reni!”

“Okay, Renza!”

“Okay, what?” Renza shouted back.

“Aww hell nawl,” I mumbled when I looked toward the passenger window and saw my cousin and Renza just a few feet away from the car arguin’ like they was crazy while me and Kay’Lo was in the damn car booty butt ass naked.

“You see?” I asked, starin’ at him, waitin’ on him to actually fix this shit.

“Fuck…” he muttered before draggin’ his hand down his face.

His dick had already gone soft, and I climbed off him to wrestle with my damn dress.

This wasn’t one of them dresses you could just throw back on either.

It had straps crisscrossin’ every damn where, and since I had every intention of leavin’ it on the floorboard until we got inside, I never paid no attention to how I took it off. Now I was payin’ for the shit.

One strap ended up behind my back the wrong way, another one wrapped around my arm, and my fuckin’ head was stickin’ through the wrong damn hole.

“Lord…” I muttered, still fightin’ with it.

On the side of me, Kay’Lo was havin’ problems of his own.

He hurried and pulled his jeans back on, but he ain’t even bother buttonin’ or zippin’ ’em. They hung low on his waist while he searched around the car for his shirt.

Outside, Sha’Nelle and Renza was still arguin’ loud enough for us to hear every damn word.

“I said leave me the fuck alone!”

“You keep tellin’ me that like I’m supposed to listen!”

Kay’Lo closed his eyes for a second. “They done killed the whole fuckin’ mood.”

“This is crazy,” I replied, finally gettin’ one shoulder where it belonged.

He looked over at me while pullin’ his jeans up, then frowned. “Baby…”

I glanced over at him while I was still fightin’ with my dress. “What?”

“Yo’ head… it don’t look like it fit in that part.”

I stopped and looked down at myself.

“Oh my God,” I groaned when I realized my head was still stickin’ through the wrong damn strap. “I ain’t got time for this.”

I snatched the dress back down, and shoved my arm through the right hole while Sha’Nelle and Renza kept arguin’ loud as hell outside.

Kay’Lo pulled one twisted strap straight with one hand, then reached for the door.

I pushed my hair back over my shoulders and smoothed my dress down the best I could.

Kay’Lo climbed out first while zippin’ his jeans, and I hurried out right behind him.

Neither one of us looked the way we planned to look when we got out the car, but at this point it ain’t even matter.

“Aye! Aye!” I shouted as I hurried toward them with Kay’Lo already walkin’ a few steps ahead of me.

Kay’Lo ain’t waste no time. He grabbed Renza by his arm and guided him off to the side while I walked straight over to my cousin.

“’Nelle.”

The second she looked at me, fresh tears rolled down her cheeks.

“Bitch…” she whispered before shakin’ her head.

I wrapped my arms around her without even thinkin’. “Come on.”

She leaned into me while we walked a lil’ further away from Kay’Lo and Renza.

“What the fuck happened?” I asked, shakin’ my damn head.

She wiped under her eyes with the back of her hand and let out a shaky breath. “This nigga trippin’.”

“What happened?” I asked again, feelin’ my patience gettin’ thinner.

“Reni called his phone, and after that I told him I was finna leave.”

She shook her head. “I wasn’t even arguin’ with him about the damn girl callin’. That ain’t what this about.”

“Then what is it?” I asked.

“I know Couture back at the hotel waitin’ on me.”

Her voice cracked again. “I just wanna go in the house.”

She looked back toward Renza. “But this nigga followed my damn Uber all the way over here actin’ like I owe him somethin’.”

I rubbed her back while she tried to calm herself down, but I could still feel how tense she was.

“Bitch, I’m over it,” she whispered as she wiped under her eyes.

“I’m really tired of this shit. I wasn’t tryna fight with him.

I just wanna go in the house real quick, wash my face, fix my hair, put some more makeup on, and go back to the hotel so we can leave in the mornin’.

Every time I try to walk away, this nigga find another reason to pull me right back in. ”

I hated seein’ my cousin like this ‘cause I knew exactly what she meant. I dealt with it for a long time with Kay’Lo, and it was the worst.

“That’s how it go when a Mensah man sink his teeth into you, cousin,” I said with a small shake of my head. “Them niggas don’t know how to love halfway. Once they decide they want you, they don’t know when to stop fightin’ for you, even when they goin’ about it all wrong.”

Sha’Nelle let out a tired sigh and looked back toward where Renza stood with Kay’Lo.

“Let’s get you inside so you can fix yourself up before you decide what you wanna do next,” I said, still rubbin’ her back.

She nodded without arguin’, and I slipped my arm through hers before walkin’ her toward the front door.

As we passed Kay’Lo and Renza, they was still off to the side talkin’. Well… Kay’Lo was talkin’. Renza looked like he wasn’t hearin’ a damn thing.

I glanced at my husband for a second before lookin’ away.

It was crazy how fast somebody else’s mess could become yours…

An hour ago me and Kay’Lo couldn’t keep our hands off each other. Now we was standin’ outside our own damn mansion half dressed while he was babysittin’ his cousin and I was tryna calm mine down.

At this point, Sha’Nelle and Renza wasn’t just wearin’ each other out…

They was wearin’ everybody else out too.
