Chapter 18

-:- CHAOS-:-

Sitting inside church, I’m listening to Stitch report he has Bethy in his medical room.

“I am treating Bethy as one of us. One of the MC members. I have spoken with McPherson and he will make sure Bethy is treated with the utmost respect. I will speak with Victoria about any arrangements she’d like and even if Bethy had a will we need to know about. ”

Axel, we all see is ready to explode. To have someone murdered on the compound is something he isn’t able to swallow.

He’s ready to rip someone apart limb-by-limb and we all feel the same.

Axel taps his knuckles on the table. “Let me know when you have all the information. I’m sure Victoria will know more than anyone else what Bethy would like.

” Standing, Axel shows how much this has affected him.

“Never have we had a woman murdered on our watch. We will wipe this clean for Bethy and for Victoria. We cannot let this asshole walk free. We all know this is Joe Tizwald’s doing.

What he doesn’t know is who he has fucked with.

Target, get your sniper rifle ready. BS, round up whatever you think we need.

We are all going hunting. Specs, I want to know everyone who has been involved in any dirt that Tizwald has or is doing. We are going to clean house, brothers.”

We all slowly stand, stomp our feet and fold our arms across our chests, holding a fist over our hearts. The sign of this brotherhood, standing tall together.

“Now, where the fuck is Meat, and where is Wings?” Axel asks, giving us all a searching look. I look around too, but see nobody has a clue.

“I reckon Wings has gone after Art. He is the one that started all this and that’s who Wings will want to take down.” I throw that out because it’s exactly what I would want to do. “I have no idea where Meat is.”

The mumbles of no idea ring around the room, and that means Meat is running loose somewhere and may be causing mayhem. Do we mind that at this minute? Probably not.

“Drag, Specs, go find the two of them. I want to know exactly where they are and what they are doing,” Axel states and we all watch Drag and Specs leave the office.

Both with determination on their faces. “Chaos, you need to keep Victoria here along with Corey. Inside the clubhouse because I never want another woman of the club murdered. I know Bethy wasn’t officially with a brother, but she was here, under our watch, and she was murdered.

I want you to make sure Victoria knows to comply with the order that she stays inside, and that I’m going to do everything in my power to get the revenge that’s needed. ”

“Is this only an issue for Victoria now, Pres?” Dice asks.

“Yes, I think so. But we need the women to be alert and if they get any itchy feelings, they need to tell us. We all know they have extraordinary instincts at times, and I along with many of you never underestimate what they tell us in a situation.” Axel looks at Silver when Silver speaks.

“Eden would tell me, Pres. But she’s said nothing and I know she’s spent a little time with Victoria at Club Whisky, when Chaos was having his date night.” Silver smirks at me and I give him the middle finger.

Drag walks into church and has a look on his face.

I’m thinking I don’t like it. Even more when he opens his mouth.

“I’ve been to check in with Victoria regarding Bethy’s brother, Art.

Pres, Victoria, Star and Winter are not with the other women.

They have gone off compound in one of the trucks.

They have disabled the tracker and the ones on their phones. ”

Axel jumps to his feet. “The little fuckers. Where’s Mia? Is she still with the others?”

“Yeah, she is,” Drag responds, and I can see he’s wanting to laugh along with the rest of us.

It’s obvious that Axel thought Mia was involved and had disappeared with the others.

Drag continues. “The women are saying nothing Pres. It’s like they know something, but we are not getting it out of them. I have not seen Jack either.”

“Jack is on Victoria duty. I wonder if he has gone with her wherever she has gone?” I say more to myself than to the room in general.

Sting chortles, “I need me one of these women. The ones that get into trouble. You know the ones that have us chasing our tails, yet make our lives worth living amongst all the shit they cause.”

We all look at Sting like he’s losing his mind, until that is, I realize that Victoria has gone missing and is more than likely going after Joe or Art.

Yeah, I’ve got myself one of those women!

Sting nods at me with a knowing look on his face, then follows that with a grin that could rival the Joker in the movie.

An hour later, I’m ready to climb the wall in frustration. The women are so tight-lipped it’s unreal. Mia has turned her back on Axel and won’t speak to him at all. Even Summer and the twins are ignoring him, giving their allegiance to their momma.

Axel stands near the door and I look at him, wondering what the fuck we are going to do when every woman in the room turns their back on him. “Fuck's sake!” Axel snarls as he leaves the room. I follow him out and he’s snapping at brothers to get their woman and find out what the fuck is going on.

I take out my phone and make a call to Wings, but he isn’t picking up the call.

Damn him… Turning to Buzz and Beer I flick my head to the door.

Stepping outside and standing in front of the clubhouse, I look at Buzz.

“Well, I’m going to find this fucker Art before Wings if I can.

But the asshole has a hell of a head start.

I can imagine Winter and Star have gone after him or Tizwald.

I know Vicky will be found with those two.

Now Jack…let’s think he’s still on Victoria duty.

If so, he is with them. That is four of them watching each other's backs. But when I get her home, I’m gonna tan her ass until it’s bright red. ”

Buzz chuckles, “I’m not sure, brother, that your woman is the kind to let you do that, but it’ll be fun watching to see who wins that battle.”

Beer laughs while nodding agreement. “I’m at work tonight, but if you are going after your woman take one of the brothers like Clay, Dice or Brag, they all can slip away in the evenings, or just say fuck work and go with you.”

“Let me check what’s happening.” I walked inside and straight to Specs' room. Opening the door, I take a seat. “Okay, where are they?”

“Trackers on the truck and their phones disabled. Can’t help you, Chaos. You are on your own. I think Delta and the damn team over at BaronsSecure are helping your woman stay under the radar.”

“Fuckin’ hell.” I storm out of Specs’ office and head back to the playroom where I find Corey playing with art supplies. “I’m going to find Victoria. You be good while I’m gone, Corey. I’ll try not to be too long finding her and bringing her home.”

“Okay, Dad,” Corey replies, and I can see he’s been crying so someone has told him what has happened to Bethy, and although he didn’t really know her, he had met her.

“It’ll be okay, bub.” I wrap my arms around him and hug him.

I kiss the top of his head and let him feel the love I have for him.

“Now, let me go find your runaway mother.”

Corey manages a smile at that and settles back to his painting.

I give Mia and Eden a nod as they are watching the kids.

The Stooges are in the kitchen when I pass through and as I head outside I stop when I see Colton, Sting, Brag, Clay, Dice and Reuse standing next to a truck ready to leave.

It’s going to be a bit tight, but at least I’ll have company.

“I’ve spoken to Wings. He’s got eyes on Art but as yet he’s not had the chance to grab him.

If we don’t get a move on, he’ll get the fucker before we get there,” Colton snaps as he jumps into the driver's seat of the truck and fires her up ready to roll out. We don’t hang around.

We jump into the truck and are on the road before we can even put our seat belts on.

“Let’s go find your woman and take out the trash,” Colton smirks. When Clay and Dice high-five each other I know they are looking forward to what is coming.

When we see a black Cadillac Escalade behind us I know we’ve company, and its company that could cause trouble. Pulling into a rest area a few miles further on, the Escalade then parks behind us.

Climbing out, I smirk when the door of the Escalade opens and none other than Graham, Tank, and Richie climb out. “Fuckers! Thought you were going to have all the fun. We know what’s happened, but we know Tizwald’s friends. You know, ones that need removal, and as soon as possible.”

“Okay. Do you know where we need to be because we are running along still wondering where we are going to find Art and the fucker Tizwald?” Sting snarls from where he’s come forward to stand next to me.

“Oh, yeah. Follow us boys,” Graham chimes and nearly skips back to the Escalade, fucking humming to himself.

Two hours later and I’m sick of seeing the back of the fucking Escalade. When are we going to see some action? The words are no sooner past my thoughts when the Escalade turns down a dirt track. Nearing the end of the track is an old house, past its time for being demolished.

Tank steps close and gives me a huge smile. “Your friend is inside. Just don’t tell him Meat has been tracking him on a device he’s put on the club's SUV.”

Grinning because Wings is the one who does all the gadgets and I can guaran-fuckin-tee Meat has used one of Wings’ toys.

Rubbing my hands together, I walk into the derelict building and hear squealing coming from the basement.

Opening the door from under the staircase, we all walk down, taking care as the fucking wooden stairs are cracking under our feet.

The basement covers the entire footprint of the house and has pillars as structural support.

On one of the crossbeams is Art, strung up by his feet.

Wings is covered in blood, and when I step closer, I can see Art has no fingers, toes, ears, nose, or dick.

All have been cauterized by the soldering iron in Wings’ hand.

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry…” Art is repeating like a mantra. He’s a pitiful human being, if you even want to call him that. He isn’t going to live long, and I hope he can go into death knowing he killed his sister.

“You know you killed her, don’t you?” I ask, keeping my voice low.

“I didn’t know they would do that. I didn’t mean for her to be murdered. I’m sorry,” Art blubbers.

“Well, you can tell her that when next you meet her,” I take out my Bowie knife and stab it into Art’s gut.

I ignore all his screaming and run it along his stomach.

I watch as his organs slowly start to fall out of the slash I’m making.

His intestines, spleen, and even his stomach can be seen.

I don’t give a fuck about his screaming.

He is going to die and die now. I slash across his throat and watch as he chokes and dies more quickly than he deserves.

“Fuck, Chaos, that was fuckin’ awesome. I’ll have to tell Nell about this—she’ll eat it up. You know she’s started writing horror books. She’ll be able to use this in one of her gruesome scenes.”

I look at Graham as though he’s lost his mind, but he is grinning like a fool. I look at Tank and he’s nodding in agreement, as is Richie. I give up. They are all raving fuckin’ lunatics.

Wings is grinning at them, then at me. Grabbing a bucket of water, Wings throws the fucker over me, removing the blood that has sprayed across me. I strip off because I don’t want any evidence on me. Fuck him, and his bucket of water!

Walking upstairs and out to the truck, I grab clean clothes and quickly dress.

Take out the can of gas and step back inside and go to the basement.

I hand the can to Graham who looks like he is about to burst, wanting to do something bad, and I haul my ass back to the truck, along with all my brothers.

Twenty minutes later we are driving away from the derelict building and heading to our next hit. The house is ablaze, removing all evidence of what happened and that anyone was even there. Wings now has Clay and Brag with him, and we have ourselves a convoy.
