Chapter 26
-:- CHAOS -:-
After dropping Corey at school, I made my way to the range and fulfilled the two appointments I had for the morning.
Jack did a great job on the reception I was informed, and Ben, one of the assistants, asked if Jack could work regularly.
I chuckled as Jack, although good with people is much more qualified, or will be when I’m done with him to teach, not be a glorified receptionist.
Jack had shadowed me this morning with my clients, and he watched carefully and quietly. I was impressed that he soaked everything up like a sponge. He’s going to be a good brother, and it’s not the first time I’ve thought that.
Stepping out of the office, I walk over to Jack behind the reception area. “I saw your hog this morning. It’s looking good.”
Jack smirks, “I’ve been cleaning every inch of her. I’ve replaced parts I could afford, and I’m going to speak to Fist about a respray, but I may have to save for quite a while before I can get it done.”
“What are you thinking for the respray?”
“Black with the club logo on the sides of the tank. I’m going to keep the chrome highly polished, so it stands out against the black.”
Nodding, because I know a lot of riders have black and chrome, and they always look smart. “That’ll look good. If you are still a prospect, you’ll have to ask Pres if you can have the logo on. If you have made brother, then you can do it without asking.”
“Will do, Chaos. I wanted to thank you for the opportunities that you have, and are, giving me. I won’t let you down,” Jack states with such intensity that I know he’s not had much support in his life.
“I know you won’t, Jack. Do your best and be proud of yourself.
You’ve come a fuck of a long way since you came to the club.
It won’t be long before you become a full brother I’m sure.
I cannot see any of us saying nay when you are put forward,” I state clearly, and slap his shoulder.
“I’m off to the clubhouse, got shit to do.
Make sure you get over there in an hour because Meat has a lesson planned. ”
“Yeah, I’ll be there. I won’t leave him waiting. The last three sessions have been brutal, and I know he doesn’t enjoy hanging around.”
Giving Jack a nod, I turn and make my way out of the range and to my hog. I’m going to have a ride over to the clubhouse and check out wedding plans. I don’t want them going wrong. You only get married once, if you’re lucky that is, and I intend to be very lucky.

As I step into Specs' office, I notice the second desk, all set up with a keyboard and monitors. “Is this for Vicky?”
“Yeah, she’s going to be okay over there.
She’ll have space and be able to set the area up as she likes.
I’m going to see what her capabilities are so she can get her teeth into her work.
Nothing worse than feeling like you are underachieving,” Specs turns back to his monitor and clicks on his keyboard before looking back at me. “What?”
Chuckling, I take the seat at Victoria’s desk and ask, “How are the plans coming along for the wedding?”
“Mia, Tilly and the Stooges are sorting out the clubhouse. The paperwork is all set. Axel is ready, even got his second pair of boots polished according to Mia. Have you got the wedding rings?”
Shooting to my feet because, fuck, I never gave them a thought. Specs laughs as I scowl at him, which lets him know I don’t find this funny.
“Victoria only has her dress to get. The rest is organized. Go get the rings, and here is the size you’ll need.” Specs passes me a piece of paper and I tuck it into my kutte pocket.
“Thanks, Specs,” I mumble as I walk out of the office. I’ve got to get my ass into town and buy rings. How the fuck could I forget I had to have rings?
I come to a grinding halt as I enter the common room because Wings is standing in the middle of the room and he’s blue. I mean, really blue. Hair, face, arms, and hands. I can only imagine his entire body is blue. Heather is laughing like a loon, and Axel is standing with a huge grin on his face.
“Payback is a bitch, Wings,” I say through my own amusement.
“Watch yourself or you’ll be the next I’ll come for,” Wings states with a snarl.
I don’t wait for him to say more. I launch myself across the common room, slam into him, and have him down before he realizes what’s happening. Once he’s pinned down and can make no movement, I ask, “You were saying?”
Axel is chuckling, and Heather is cackling. “You’ve gotta give it up this time, Wings. You were caught on your back foot dead to rights,” Axel says, then laughs before turning and walking into the kitchen.
Climbing off Wings, I hold my hand out to give him a lift, and he takes it before throwing an arm around my neck. “You know I’ll have to get you back for that one, brother?”
“Yeah, yeah, whatever,” I reply while laughing.
“Now, get off me as I’m going to watch Jack have a lesson with Meat.
You, brother, need to get back in the shower, but make sure no dye is in it this time.
” As I walk away, I look over my shoulder with a smirk on my face. “Maybe we should rename you Smurf?”
“Fuck off,” Wings snarls, but I can see he’s grinning while he’s saying it.
Waving at the Stooges as I walk through the kitchen, I give them a cheeky grin as I snatch three cookies from the baking sheet. I have to jiggle them a little in my hands as they are still warm, but hmm, they are good.
I take a seat and watch over the training area where Meat has Jack going through boxing moves.
Meat is wearing training pads on his hands and is grunting as they work.
I have to admit Jack has come a long way in the time he’s been with us, and his confidence is soaring.
His jabs are sharp and strong. I can tell by the way the jabs are hitting the pads that Meat's arms move back some. That is a feat in itself because Meat has the strongest arms of anyone I’ve ever met.
He trains religiously with Star, and they are both strong, and I don’t mean massively muscled. I mean body strength itself.
I watch for thirty minutes until Hammer catches my eye. He walks out of the kitchen holding a bottle of water and a plate with a grilled cheese. Shit, I could eat that. I’ll have to grab one when I get back inside the kitchen.
Hammer takes a seat next to me. “Are you doing okay, Chaos?”
“Yeah, I’m good. I’m watching Jack have his session with Meat. He’s improved a lot in a short space of time.”
Hammer nods. “We all improve some when we work out with Meat. He knows just how to push you enough to get a little more out of you.”
“Are you setting up the memorial area?”
Hammer swallows his mouthful of grilled cheese before responding, “Yeah, I have the area marked on the map in Axel’s office. He’s good with the area and told me to have one side where we can lay anyone, and the other side for ashes and urns. It’s a bit dark thinking about any of us dying, or dead.”
“Yeah, it is. Are you organizing headstones, too?”
“I am. I’ve spoken to someone and have Bethy and Art’s on order. It’ll be here sometime in the next few days. I am keeping them small for the ashes side of the area because the brothers have mostly told me they’d prefer to be cremated.”
“Yeah, I think I would,” I say, but more to myself than Hammer.
“Okay, I’m done. I’ll catch you later, Chaos.”
I watch as Hammer walks back to the kitchen and am about to follow him to snag myself a grilled cheese when my phone alert tells me I have a message.
Victoria: Can you make sure Corey has something suitable to wear for the wedding, please.
Chaos: Will do.
Walking inside the clubhouse, I head straight to PT’s office. Taking a seat, I see the surprise on his face as he turns from his desk and looks at me. “Okay, what?” he asks, and I give him a huge smile.
“Where is Vicky’s kutte?” I ask, and with an eye roll PT steps over to the metal cabinet and opens it. Taking out a box, he hands it to me. “Here you are. It arrived last night.”
“That’s great. Thanks, PT. Now I have another question. What are we going to do for Corey for the wedding?”
PT frowns, “What do you mean?”
“My wedding to Vicky means he'll have to wear something that shows he's mine and hers. I don’t want him to feel he’s not a part of what is happening.”
“Oh, I see. Leave it with me. Let me think on it.”
“Okay, but don’t take long ‘cause we only have a week,” I keep hold of the box and walk out of the office. I’m going to find my woman and get this on her back. I can’t wait to fuck her while she’s wearing only this.
****
I find Victoria at the kitchen table with her laptop open and concentrating on what she’s doing.
Looking up when I enter, she gives me a bright smile.
Her face always shows the emotions she’s feeling.
I wouldn’t want to take her to play poker because she’s not got one of those faces that would hide what she has in her hand.
“You are home early,” Victoria says as she writes something on the notepad next to her laptop.
“I am because I have something for you.”
“For me?”
“Yeah, now come here,” I say as I lay the box on the counter. Opening the box, I take out the kutte and hold it for her to slip her arms into.
Once the kutte is settled on her back, she looks down and smiles. On one side the club’s name and logo is easily seen, and the other side simply states Victoria. The back, however, says clearly ‘Property of Chaos’ and fuck if it doesn’t look good.
I take her hand and lead her to the bedroom where I turn her so she can see herself, and turning slightly so she can see the back, her eyes widen before looking at me. I can see the emotion running through her, and her eyes fog with tears right before she throws herself into my arms.
I hold her for a long time while she cries, and I can’t really hear what she mumbles now and again as her face is scrunched into my chest. Once her tears ease I take us to the bed and sit on the edge. I keep one of my arms around her and tuck her into my side. “Are you okay?”
Sniffing a moment before she speaks. “Yeah, I just wish Bethy was here to share this with us. She liked you and thought I would be happy with you.”
“I didn’t meet her much, but I liked her too. It was obvious that she loved you, Vicky. She would want you to live well, and be with me, have my kids, grow old together,” I smirk, and chuckle when she looks closely at me to see if I’m serious.
Slapping my chest with the back of her hand, she grins. “So full of yourself,” she giggles, and I’m happy that I’ve done that because seeing her cry isn’t something I like to see.
Grabbing hold of her, I flick us until she’s flat on her back and I slam my mouth onto hers. She always tastes divine to me, and I’m not sure if I’ll ever get enough of her. I slide my hand under the t-shirt she’s wearing just as my phone plays the Superman tune. That is my Corey tone.
I quickly move from Victoria, remaining sitting on the bed's edge when I take the call. “Hello,” I quickly say.
“Mr. Styles, I have Corey here who has had an accident. He may need to go to the hospital. He has a cut on his arm and the nurse thinks he may need two or three stitches.”
“I’m on my way.” I end the call and quickly tell Victoria what’s happening. “I’ll take him to the clubhouse and Stitch can look him over. Do you want to make him something he’ll like for when I get him back here?”
Vicky nods and quickly agrees. “Yeah, I’ll throw some cookies into the oven. They’ll be cooked and cool by the time you get back.”
I kiss her quickly and rush out to the truck. I’m going to have to get another vehicle because Vicky needs something when I’m using the truck. Maybe a nice SUV will do the trick?
