Chapter 5

Love

“Come on, tell me, Ry!” I request as soon as Rian is mentally capable of talking.

“I can’t tell you, it’s not up to me to tell. Ask your father or mother-”

“Come on, they won’t tell me, they’ll keep me in the blind,” I request but Rian starts getting ready for work instead of answering me.

“They won’t know I know,” I promise but he stays silent.

“I invoke best friend rights to know everything you do,” Rian sighs and sits on the bed in his shirt and boxers.

“If I tell you, will you let it go?” Rian asks and checks his phone before looking at me, and I nod at him. “Fine, my father tried to rape your mother. You gave him a fucking fair end,” he says, Rian always liked my family better but his hands still shake.

“Listen to me, Rian. You’re no less of my favourite person for feeling sad. He was your dad. I’ll never forgive myself Rian,” I say and he hugs me.

“You can and should. The bastard never loved me anyway,” that is true, he always clearly and openly preferred Declan.

I hold Rian’s slim but athletic figure and stroke his blonde hair until his breathing is back to a regular rhythm.

We stay there for god knows how long. I hold him with my eyes closed, grateful to have him, sorry for what happened yesterday. Rian is calming himself in my hold.

“Shit, I’m late,” he says when he must’ve looked at the clock on his bedside table. He throws some pants on, gets his sports bag, kisses my cheek and leaves. I stay in his room, sensing his scent to calm myself down before getting out.

Rian made me really proud today. Whenever he feels out of control he goes to fighting clubs, and punches the hopelessness away. For the first time he managed not to directly go there. I’m going to have Damian check on Rian after work in case he changes his mind.

I go change and wash myself and when I’m dry and clean, get ready for work. I go downstairs to find Dominik, Damian and Josh in the living room, pretending to be chilling. When in fact they’re planning chaos.

“What mayhem have we got planned for today, boys?” I question winking at Josh and then stopping my gaze on Dominik for some seconds, more than I’d like in front of Josh. Dominik is wearing sports clothes, a white t-shirt and black trousers. A light jacket lying next to him on the couch’s arm.

“Should I escort her out?” Damian asks and Dominik shakes his head.

“I got this,” Dominik says and brings me outside, and when we’re on the front porch he pins me against the wall.

“My brother will see us,” I say pointing at the window, still Dominik kisses me.

He steals a flaming kiss, that melts my once-cold heart.

I deepen the kiss and gasp as Dominik’s hand roams inside my clothes, to the hem of my panties.

As if flaming wasn’t enough, incinerating my every fear and clear thought and making me ache for more.

For one more taste, one more touch, one more breath.

“You’re soaking wet for me, ma Vie,” he says cupping my core and running the tips of his fingers up and down my lips, not near enough to touch my clit but near enough for me to shiver.

“Don’t make that beautiful bliss face or I might take you here and now,” Dominik says and I take a deep breath when he teases my clit, flickering and stroking it until I’m trembling.

I hold onto his arm and squeeze it as he slides one finger inside me.

“Dom,” I moan out trying to stop him but it only makes his movements quicker and I can feel him harden against my side.

“Shhh, we don’t want anyone seeing you like this, Vie,” he says and puts his other hand over my mouth as he adds a second finger. I feel waves of pleasure like never before. I had boyfriends, none got further than this. But it never felt this intense. This real, this scary, this raw, this ecstatic.

He slides in and out of me applying more and more pressure over my mouth to suppress my moans and sighs. A wave of overwhelming pleasure passes through me, and I know this is the first real orgasm I had.

“Blind spot, but the fear of being caught was kind of hot, huh?” Dominik says as his hands go from my core to his lips. He licks his fingers and says “I fear you’re my new favourite flavour,” he says and then kisses me, making me taste a mix of him and myself. I kick him in the end.

“That’s for scaring me, asshole,” I say and move to my car but forget I don’t have the keys, I’m about to go back inside when I think if I really want to see Josh and the others right now.

“Looks like somebody needs a ride,” Dominik says swinging his car keys in his hands. “Come on, I’ll make it fun,” he says a smirk on his lips, deadly ideas in his mind.

“No more fun,” I say getting inside the car, and I don’t mean the words.

“That’s not what you signed up for,” Dominik says and I laugh. “What?” he questions and I stop laughing and check my phone instead of replying. He starts the car, but his hand goes to my bare legs, and puts on a tight grip on my right thigh.

I check my messages and see that both Sammy and Maya were chatting and asking for me.

Sammy: She’s read the messages.

Maya: She was too busy with Dominik I bet.

Me: Stop it. That’s not it. I’m getting to work.

Maya: Who’s driving?

Sammy: Dominik, of course.

Me: *angry emoji*

After that I put my phone back in my pocket.

My heart still beating fast from earlier.

I look outside and see we’re arriving at the casino.

I’m returning to the only job my family would ever accept me to have.

I’m so used to it, I enjoy it now. But Josh isn’t 100% conformed with the job’s functions.

I basically am a security team member in disguise. Everyone who isn’t our usual people is my target. They don’t know me. The other clients won’t disclose I’m security because we give them special treatment and perks to act within our agreement.

My family owns a vast casino chain around the world. I sometimes wish not everyone across the world knew my name. Kane’s are one of the wealthiest people across the globe. We, Denfell’s and Ricik’s are the top mafia elite.

Which means, my family, Rian’s family, and Dominik’s family.

Since we made an alliance with Dominik we’ve been safer.

Until Christmas. We aren’t sure yet who dared to play with us.

New Year’s Eve is still a resentment Max Denfell had that his wife died, and my mother survived.

His wife wasn’t the target. She was wearing my mother’s coat.

She shouldn’t have died. Max never got over the fact that my father still had his wife and family intact while his legacy was shaking.

In a desperate act he ended his legacy. Declan was the heir not Rian.

Rian was supposed to be on the sideline since he’s known for being the deranged brother.

Rian is more in synch with complete destruction, but is currently under Josh’s wing, so he’s moderate.

Josh and Rian agreed that Rian would answer to Josh while maintaining full power over the Denfell legacy.

Rian never wanted it anyway he’s just honouring his mother, it was her legacy too.

“Love?” Dominik calls and I evade from my thoughts.

I notice the car is already parked. I get outside.

My panties still wet. I definitely need a shower.

“After you,” Dominik says opening the casino’s staff members’ changing room.

Since the casino has an adjacent private beach space it also includes showers for lifeguards.

I used to be a lifeguard in this casino before I got a lesion on my knee joints that could compromise my safety.

Not just my safety but the safety of anyone I’m trying to save if my knee fails me.

“Are you a staff member?” I ask and he nods. He told me he had a new job, I thought he was going to his job. Apparently, his job is here, I’ll see him around dangerously more often. “Security team?”

“Security leader,” Dominik says and I laugh.

“I didn’t expect Josh to trust anyone outside our family, it seems like you are really special.

You’re already family,” I disclose and enter the building.

I pass by Dominik and feel his eyes on me but I don’t react to it.

If I do, this will end with Josh killing Dominik for taking his “baby sister” as he’d say.

I go to my locker and get my spare clothes to change into. I’m definitely not taking a bath with Dominik here. That would put me at high risk of getting his dark attention.

When I turn around to sit on a bench, I hit Dominik and am stopped by his strong build.

“Are you trying to avoid me?” he asks and I shake my head.

His eyes darken, like his soul is peeking through.

“Are you sure? Normally you’d be all around me,” he says and I blush stepping on him to get to the bench but he grabs my wrist and pins me against the wall, my hands locked over my head beneath his grasp.

“Your fighting only gets me harder, Love. And I’ve been waiting to take what’s mine for two years,” he’s been waiting all this time?

“I’m not your property,” I say trying to get out of his grasp but it only gets his loose hand around my throat.

“Strongly disagree,” he says and I want to reply but I have no words as Dominik’s hand, roams from my neck to my chest, passing his palm against my aching nipples on purpose. “Don’t fight me now,” he whispers leaning closer towards me, practically towering over me.

“When did you decide I was yours?” I ask him trying to dissociate from his fingers trailing down my stomach.

“The day I first laid eyes on you in this casino,” Dominik starts, “I was only a distant friend of Josh’s at the time and I didn’t plan to find you.

You’re strangely addictive, everything about you.

I never took an interest in being with someone more than one night.

But you’re so unlike any other girl. You captivate me beyond any of my kinks. -”

“And that’s never happened before?” I ask him, he shakes his head. And shreds my dress to pieces.
