Chaos Chapter 19
It should’ve been harder to get Sinclair to crack. We didn’t have to apply any real pressure to him. Hell, no one had even gotten to punch the fucker, let alone torture him to get the confession that he knew Elodie. His insanity was clear.
“Jesus Christ, he’s a total nutter,” Eagle muttered.
“He knew her. He was with her. You heard him,” Troublemaker growled.
“Tell us how you know Elodie. What do you mean by she’s yours and you keep seeing her? She’s dead,” I flat-out told him.
His crazed expression turned murderous, and he glared at me.
“She’s not dead! She wanted me to think that.
She got mad at me. She didn’t think I was serious.
That I loved her and only wanted her. She let others turn her against me.
If they had left us alone, she would’ve calmed down and come back to me.
I was preparing everything for us. I was taking her away,” he rambled.
“Preparing what?” Ryder asked.
“A home for us. I realized too late that she was upset that she hadn’t conceived my baby.
I’ve tried to show her every time since that first time that it’ll happen.
And when it does, we’ll have a beautiful baby.
I’d like one of each, but she wants at least three, two boys and a girl.
I thought it had happened last time, but she disappeared again.
And now I have to go back to the club and get her.
You split us up, but only temporarily,” he babbled.
“You said someone turned her against you. Who was that?” Forge asked.
“That bitch who thought she could come between us. She hogged her. Always taking up her time, keeping us from getting together. I was so happy when she left for that trip, and my Elodie was left behind. When she went to that party, I knew it was our night.”
“Do you mean Bianca?” I asked.
“Yes, that bitch! She was always in the way. She was gone for a long time, and then she came back a few months ago. She was looking for Elodie. I tried to get rid of her, but she got away. And now she’s been hiding, too. But I’ll get her.” The menace in his tone made my body go cold.
I motioned for my brothers to follow me to the farthest corner of the Hole. They did. As we walked away, Sinclair began humming to himself and smiling. I had no chance to say anything.
“That motherfucker is loony as all get out. He’s the rapist. He has to be. If nothing else, we know he hurt Bianca’s friend. He’s the reason she killed herself,” Chains said.
“He keeps thinking those women who look like her are Elodie, and he repeats the rapes, but in his mind, he’s making love to the woman he’s obsessed with.
To him, he calls it love, not rape. And it sounds like he wants them to conceive, but they don’t.
He’s built this entire fantasy about Elodie and him, and he’s now suffering from transference.
Every woman who looks like Elodie is her.
I don’t know how many psych diagnoses the guy’s got, but it’s a ton.
I don’t think there’s much doubt that he is the rapist we’ve been searching for.
Do any of you think he’s not?” Stitch asked.
There were murmurs and curses under their breath, but no one said Stitch was wrong.
It was also clear that we weren’t dealing with someone who could be saved, even if we were inclined to do so, which we weren’t.
Some people were too broken. I did briefly wonder what had happened to him to make him this way. Or had it been merely bad genes?
“I think we’ve got enough, at least to know we have a rapist. And he needs to be removed for the public’s own safety.
He’ll never stop targeting new women. Now, ordinarily we have to inflict a lot of pain to get this kind of information.
Since we haven’t, I want to know. Do you just want to end him? Or make him suffer?” Wrath asked.
“Pres, I’ve got to speak for my Bianca. She asked us to make him suffer.
I’ve got to keep my word to her. He has haunted her for ten years.
He stole her best friend. She and Elodie had made a pact to grow old together and watch each other’s grandkids from rockers on their porches.
I need to make him hurt for stealing that future from them both.
I sure the fuck need to make him feel ungodly pain.
” My voice dropped and turned into a sinister-sounding growl.
Pres studied me, as did my other brothers. Finally, Wrath slowly nodded, then he spoke.
“Chaos, brother, we hear you. And we agree. We’ll allow you to do whatever you deem is most appropriate. If you want any of us to step in to relieve you or help, just say the word. Otherwise, we’ll stay out of your way.”
I bowed my head and closed my eyes as I replied. “Thank you. You have no idea how much this means to Bianca and me.”
“I can guess. Let’s get rid of this shit stain on humanity.
We have beds calling us and, in some cases, our old ladies.
Besides, we have other better things to do.
You have a property cut to present as soon as it gets here.
Mishap to heal fully, and who knows what else is coming our way, on the good side of things,” Wrath announced.
“Do you know what you want to do? Anything fancy, or something tried and true?” Ryder asked.
I stood there thinking. Stitch cleared his throat.
“I have something I brought along in case it might come in handy. In the case of the women, they were all drugged and then raped, leaving them with no memory of what happened to them. They were left without control. Clearly, we want him to know what’s being done to him.
What if he were to experience physical paralysis along with terrifying and vivid hallucinations?
He can see, feel, and hear it all, but he’s unable to escape it, and to him it’s real, whether it’s truly happening to him or it’s all in his head. ”
I thought for only a few moments, then I grinned. “Hell yeah, I’d love that. But how can we do it?” I asked.
Stitch reached into his cut’s inner left pocket and withdrew a syringe filled with liquid, with a capped needle attached.
“I give him this.”
“What the hell is that?” Nomad asked, peering closely at it.
“This is ketamine. You may have heard it called Special K, Super K, or Horse Trank, among others. It has many legitimate uses in medical and veterinary medicine. It is mainly used in treatment-resistant depression, to manage severe pain, and to induce and maintain anesthesia. What I want to do is give him enough to cause a K-Hole.”
“K-Hole, what the fuck is that? Some kinky sexual ass thing?” Mishap jokes.
Stitch rolled his eyes. “No, perv, it’s a state when we get to really high doses and the person enters into a state where they experience physical paralysis while having very vivid, often terrifying hallucinations, and they feel completely detached from their body.
It can last from half an hour to a few hours.
It’s dangerous since to get that effect you have to be on the edge of overdosing.
So, I’d have to monitor him to make sure he doesn’t die too soon.
And the best way to administer it is in a continuous slow drip infusion.
That way I can infuse, and if his vitals are dropping too fast, I can cut it off.
“He won’t be able to move or speak when he’s full in the K-Hole.
He’ll experience an out-of-body experience and feel trapped in a dark, deep nothingness.
With everything around him distorted, it’ll be frightening.
It can be something you either do after you’re done torturing him, or you can induce the state and then torture him, which should make the hallucinations even wilder and scarier.
There is a risk that he could have a blood pressure spike or his heart react, and it could kill him before you’re done. ”
There were murmurs of interest from the whole club.
No one seemed opposed to trying it, but the decision was left to me because Wrath wasn’t speaking up.
I considered the fact that I could be cheated, but the opportunity of torturing him physically and psychologically was too good for me to pass up.
“I love it. I want him to be in the K-Hole while I inflict pain. If he slips away, well that’s the way it’ll be. I won’t hold it against you,” I assured our medic.
“Excellent. I have infusion stuff in the cabinet. Give me a few minutes to get an IV in his arm and set up the infusion. I have saline that I’ll dilute at a higher concentration than usual and infuse it that way. I’ll get started.”
As Stitch went to one of the cabinets and unlocked it, an anxious Sinclair called over to us.
“Hey, what’re you guys talking about? Why haven’t you let me loose? I told you the truth. I need to get out of here and see if I can find my Elodie again tonight. She’s probably already at home. I don’t like to invade her home space, but I might have to tonight,” he rambled on.
We walked back to him. He gave us an expectant look.
“You’re not going anywhere. That poor woman you drugged was left to get medical attention at the strip club. Right now, she’s at a hospital having tests run and is getting help while the drug works its way out of her body. Tonight was the last time you ever see Elodie,” I told him.
That caused him to look terrified. Then he began shouting and crying. He told us how we couldn’t do this and that it was cruel to separate people as in love as they were. His words made my stomach roll. I wanted to hurl.
Stitch set up the infusion quickly. He even had a way to rig an IV pole to hang the bag on. When he went to insert the IV into Sinclair’s arm, the crazy fucker got jumpy.
“W-what are you doing? What is that?”
“Just something to make you feel how your victims felt,” Fury told him.
“Victims? What victims? I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Sinclair shouted.
