Epilogue
Savannah
Six months later…
Six months.
That’s all it took.
Aubrey and Dean have been married almost five months now.
They definitely didn’t waste any time. I guess when you know, you know.
But they aren’t just husband and wife; they are wildly and stupidly in love.
Every time you see them, they look like two lovesick teenagers who can’t keep their hands off each other.
It’s so gross.
I say that, but honestly, it’s the kind of love that makes every ‘single’ person want to gag but also cry.
Because what they have is so pure and magical that the jealousy of it all eats at you from the inside out.
Making you believe that the only way to live life is to do life with that one person you’re destined to be with.
Waking up every day, hoping and praying, you finally get your own happily ever after.
See! I told you. It’s sickening.
Their wedding was a whole vibe. Annie’s event planning skills were top-tier.
She planned the whole thing on top of pulling off her maid of honor duties.
Aubrey looked absolutely stunning, while Dean tried to act tough but totally failed at hiding the way he looked at her like she hung the moon.
Garrett gave a toast that had everyone laughing and crying, because Grizzley Adams is a big softie under all that plaid.
Dean and Garrett?
Yep, you guessed it. Bromance.
Who saw that coming?
I sure as hell didn’t. The two of them couldn’t be more opposite if they tried.
But I guess when the wifeys are bffs you don’t have a choice but to get along.
Garrett hired Dean to help with the business.
So, not only are they out in the woods every damn day together, they are also working nonstop to finish the build of Aubrey and Dean’s cabin on the piece of land Dean purchased from Garrett.
I swear, some days you can hear them arguing about lumber and power tools all the way to Main Street, but somehow, they make it work.
Dean finally looks like he belongs somewhere. He’s even traded in a leather vest or two for a few flannel shirts. Hell, even Aubrey’s got her spark back. Something she lost after the whole Clint thing, that we all thought was gone for good. It’s annoyingly wholesome.
Just like Annie and Garrett, they’re building a life out in the woods…
literally. Aubrey bakes all the time, plants flowers, works her garden, even talks about maybe opening her own cafe someday.
Dean walks around with a shit-eating grin on his face all the time now, which was weird at first, but you get used to it.
He’s got this look, like he’s finally at peace, and honestly, it’s nice.
They both deserve to be happy. I’m rooting for them, even if I act grossed out half the time.
Okay, enough about them. Now, let’s talk about me.
Because…yeah. I know you’re dying of curiosity.
I mean, six months ago, I was just a small-town girl, working behind the counter at her family’s inn.
The one person who knows the best gossip in town, with a talent for sniffing out trouble the moment it walks into town.
Then, ‘trouble’ showed up.
Bane Michaels.
Twenty years old, tattooed, all dark hair and eyes. With that “sex on a stick” appeal going on.
I swear, the moment he walked into Crystal Falls, half the town’s female population nearly fainted.
The other half just glared at me like I was the one who brought him here.
But I heard all about Bane Michaels way before his fine ass even rolled into Crystal Falls.
Word travels fast when a guy’s got a reputation like his.
When panties pretty much evaporate when he’s around, and he’s known for leaving a mess of broken hearts and bruised egos in his wake.
Every story the boy’s associated with is about wild parties, fighting just for the hell of it, and that damn grin that always gets him out of trouble.
Yeah, he could pass as his older brother’s twin, with Dean’s eyes and good looks.
But he’s got a little something extra too.
A reckless, untamed vibe, like he’s a walking bad decision, and you’re the one that’s champing at the bit to make it.
I know he’s trouble, and I should stay away from him.
But here’s the thing: I’m not good at running from trouble. It intrigues me. I like to see if I can tame it first.
So yeah.
Annie and Garrett got their love story. Aubrey and Dean got their fairy-tale ending. Good for them.
But I’ve got a feeling my story’s just getting started, and things are about to get very interesting in Crystal Falls.
Trouble for me doesn’t come in the form of storms or bikers. It has a name.
Bane Michaels.
See you soon.
Thank you for reading Charmed by the Biker.
Don’t worry, more from Savannah and Crystal Falls is coming your way with Chosen by the Bad Boy.
