Blaze POV

When I got back from working at the club, Echo mentioned what happened with Dylan. We’ve known for a while now that the West Crew were building connections with Grim, whether his club knows or not we don’t know.

What we do know is they are bringing in weapons. Something we’re trying to stop. So we’ve got a plan, nothing big yet, just small steps.

I came to Dylan to fuck him, but saw the senator’s daughter walk in. Now though, he’s pinned by me. I step back and he stares at me.

“Go on, I’ll be at the club. Call me when you’ve fucked her.”

I turn and walk off.

I need to know what is happening, but it’s hard. Between Fallen Gods and my normal fucking job, tracking him isn’t easy.

Pulling up outside the warehouses, the guys are waiting.

“You think this will work?” I ask, looking at Echo.

“He wants his bike back, right?”

There’s no way Grim won’t want his bike back, but it’s still a risk. “There’s no guarantee.”

“No, so we give him the choice. He tells us why these guns are coming in, or he loses his bike,” Echo shrugs and I hear the bike.

I watch as Grim stops and stares at us.

“We’re not here to fight. We’re wondering if you want your bike back?” Knox asks, watching him.

Grim looks around anxiously. He’s alone. We figured he would be traveling to the West Side soon, so we blocked his path. Now he has a choice to make.

“What do you want?”

“How about information on the West Crew?” Echo says.

Grim laughs. “Are you joking? Like I fucking know.”

“Come on Grim, think about it. Tell you what, we’ll leave, you go ahead and meet them, then you have until midnight to pop around to our club and tell us. You can even see your bike before you do,” Ghost mocks.

We start our bikes and leave him. We don’t need to spend long with him. Just tell him the options and leave. Sure he’s going to need a cover story for his club on how he got the bike back, but he can work that out.

When I get back to the club I walk in and drop down into a seat, already pulling my phone out. I keep checking it, but there’s still nothing from Dylan. That asshole hasn’t messaged me once. I still need to talk to him about Titan too, they fucking kissed and that prick hasn’t even mentioned it.

I tap my fingers restlessly against the table until Siren sits down beside me.

“I’m meeting his fiancée soon,” she says.

“You mean the senator’s daughter?” I ask. “Let me guess, you’re meeting somewhere away from the club?”

She nods. “How do you know?”

“Oh, because I heard her talk about biker clubs. She’s never coming here.”

Her eyes widen. “But Dylan comes here a lot. How is that going to work?”

“Guess he’s planning to cut down how much he comes and sees you,” I mutter, “or he’s planning to lie to her.” Neither option sits right with me. “Any idea why he’s marrying her?”

“No. I’ve asked, but I only get vague answers about his dad saying so.”

“Yeah, and the only reasons I can think of are they’re religious or it’s some kind of business deal.”

She shrugs. “No idea, Blaze. I told you, he’s barely said anything to me about it.”

“Echo knows,” I say.

She nods. “He told me he knew, but said it wasn’t his place to tell me. And I agree with him.”

Fuck. I was hoping she could get the information out of Echo and then I could get it from her.

For hours I sit there, waiting. Waiting for Grim to show up, waiting for Dylan to message me, waiting for something. Anything. The longer I sit, the more pissed off I get.

I’ve asked Glitch to dig more into Dylan, but Echo already ordered him to stay out of it, so I can’t use him. I’m seriously tempted to just go straight to Dylan’s place, but his fiancée might still be there.

I drag a hand down my face and check my phone again.

Still nothing.

This whole situation is driving me insane. Dylan is out there right now probably trying to fuck her, and I’m sitting here like a fucking idiot waiting for him to call me when he’s done.

I hate this. I hate all of it. But I’m not walking away. Not from him.

“Hey.”

I spin around and see Dylan standing there. “You were meant to message me.”

“Yeah, but you coming to mine isn’t the best idea right now.”

Is that a fucking joke? “Maybe you shouldn’t have given her a key.”

He rolls his eyes and sits down beside me. “We’re getting married.”

“Yeah, and I still don’t know why.” I lean in closer, lowering my voice. “You’re gay, Dylan. There's no arguing that anymore. So why the fuck are you doing this?”

“Doesn’t matter why. I just am.”

My eyes narrow. “Titan and Echo know.” I watch as he just shrugs. “This is fucked up. The fact that I don’t know, but other people do. We’re fucking, Dylan. I should know the truth.”

“We can stop fucking if it helps?” he says quietly.

I stare at him. “Seriously?”

“Yeah.”

He’s such a prick sometimes. “Okay, let’s talk about something easier then. Why the fuck didn’t you mention kissing Titan?”

I watch him tense up immediately.

“Blaze, he’s here,” Echo says and I turn and see him walking past us.

“Think of an answer. I’ll be back in soon.” I stand up and walk out, spotting Grim waiting outside.

“I want to see it. Be sure this isn’t a lie,” Grim snaps.

Ghost opens the garage door and shows him the bike.

“Okay, so you want me to what? Tell you what their plan is?” Grim asks, staring at Echo.

“I want all the details,” Echo says. “Not just a quick sentence and then it’s done.”

“You realise they're going to come for me when they find out I spoke, right?”

“You’re a smart guy, Grim,” I say. “You can make something up.”

“We know it’s about weapons,” Echo adds.

“Then what do you need me for? You already know,” Grim snaps.

“Because that’s all we know,” I tell him.

Grim sighs and looks longingly at his bike. Yeah, he wants it back badly. “They’re planning a move against someone big.”

“You good?” I ask Echo.

“Sure. We’ll be right in and update you.” He gestures for me to leave.

I walk back inside and head straight for Dylan. I don’t stop until I’ve got him pinned against the bar, my body pressed close to his.

“What do you want, Blaze?”

“You fucking kissed Titan?” I snap, stepping closer. “Would you have let him fuck you?”

I need to know. Because I’m seriously considering breaking the rules and not covering up again if I know for sure he won’t.

Dylan tilts his head, looking almost amused. “You sound jealous.”

He has no fucking idea.

“Oh, you think this is jealous?” I lean in closer, voice low and rough. “You have no fucking clue.”

I expect him to shove me back. I expect the usual “I’m not gay” bullshit because we’re in public. But he doesn’t. He lets my mouth trail down his neck, his breath catching.

“You. Fucking. Kissed. Titan.”

“I… he caught me off guard,” he mutters.

I laugh darkly against his skin. “And you kissed him back. What other guys have you been kissing or flirting with, Dylan?”

“None,” he says quickly. “Titan was just to taunt you. I’ve got no reason to do it with anyone else.”

Something about that answer feels good. Really fucking good. Knowing I’m the only one who touches him, chases him, wants him like this. I bite down on his neck, hard enough to mark him, then step back.

“Good to know,” I murmur. “I still need to talk about something else. Just give me a moment.”

I need to know if he’ll let me claim him as far as the club is concerned, but first I need to make sure Echo isn’t fucking around with me.

I walk toward the door just as it opens. The guys file in, and Grim follows behind them.

“He talking?” I ask.

“He knows what to do to get his bike back,” Echo says. “We’re about to sit down and get everything. Maybe even make a deal where he gives us dates and shit later when it comes up.”

“Good. I need to know.” I look from Echo to Titan. “You’re set on me making sure I put in the claim, right?”

“I plan to fuck him, so I’d suggest you do,” Titan taunts with a smirk.

Of course he fucking does.

I catch movement out of the corner of my eye. Dylan is trying to slip past people and escape.

“Stay right fucking there, Dylan,” I snap.

He freezes and stares at me.

“Dylan?” Grim steps further into the room, eyes locked on him. “What the fuck are you doing here?”

“You know him?” I ask, stepping forward as Grim gets closer to Dylan, who suddenly looks like he’s been caught red-handed.

“I-I-I—”

“I… I… I what, Dylan?” I snap.

“Yeah, I know him,” Grim laughs. “He’s been hanging around our fucking club for months. Almost fucked him that night you stole my bike.”

My eyes snap to Dylan.

He bolts.

I move instantly, chasing after him. I catch him before he even makes it out of the building, slamming his smaller body against the wall.

“You were fucking Grim?” I growl.

“I-I-I—”

“Dylan!” I snap, pinning him harder.

“N-no.”

I laugh, but there’s no humor in it. “Fucking talk or I drag you back through there and let Grim tell me himself.”

“I…” He stops, breathing fast.

“Dylan,” I say dangerously, “you’ve been hanging around a fucking rival club!”

“Leave it,” Echo snaps.

I turn to see him standing there, arms crossed.

“What? No. He was hanging around a fucking rival club. We need to know why.”

“Oh, I have a feeling I know why,” Echo says calmly. “So leave it. The guys will be told he wasn’t working both clubs.”

This is whatever they know, and I have no fucking idea. “Sure. No more mentioning it,” I mutter, watching as Echo walks off.

Turning back to Dylan, I press him hard against the wall. “I’ll fucking find out the truth, but it’s fucked up that this entire club knows before me.”

“Not the entire club,” he mutters.

“We’re going back to yours. This time, leave the key in the lock so your little birdie can’t get in.” I grab his arm and drag him through the clubhouse. I was already on edge with Titan around him. Now Grim is in the picture too? This is getting worse by the second.

“Blaze—”

“No. We’re going back to yours and you’re going to explain exactly what happened with Grim without fucking lying.”

I climb on my bike and wait. A moment later he sighs and climbs on behind me.

The entire ride to his apartment, all I can think about is Grim and how he said he had almost fucked him. We walk up to his apartment and I replay that day in my head, stealing the bike, walking in to find Grim with his cock out.

“You fucked him!” I snap the second the door closes, glaring at him.

“N-no.”

“He had his fucking cock out. The day we stole the bike, you were fucking there!”

He nods slowly. “I didn’t fuck him.”

“Yeah? Because he sure looked like he was about to have fun with you.”

Groaning, Dylan glares back at me. “Nothing happened. You stopped it.”

“Oh, so you would have let him fuck you if we hadn’t walked in on your little fucking party?”

His head shakes. “N-no. I didn’t want to.”

“Didn’t want to, but what was the plan if we hadn’t walked in?”

I watch as he shrugs. Of course he doesn’t know. “It wasn’t meant to go that far. Just flirting.”

Just flirting. With another fucking club. “You’re such a fucking moron,” I snap.

“You’re only acting like this because you’re jealous someone else actually wanted me. Someone who isn’t you or Titan. Someone you can’t order not to fucking look at me.”

He has no idea.

“You’re right,” I growl, stepping closer. “I couldn’t tell Grim what to do. Even if I claimed you, he’s not part of this club. He’s a rival. They would fuck you and pass you around for the fun of it.”

“Are you done?” He stands up taller, trying to look brave.

“No, Dylan. I’m not fucking done!”

Fuck me. I can get over him and Titan, but Grim? Another fucking club?

“So fuck me,” he says. “That’s what you’re going to do, right?

Fuck me. Make me pay for it. Make yourself feel better because you’re jealous, and right now your mind is making you hate the fact I touched them, or let them touch me, and you hate it.

You fucking hate the thought of someone else having their—”

My body moves on its own. I slam him against the wall, cutting off his words.
