Blaze POV

After fucking Dylan I walk him back to my room and let him get into bed.

He’s exhausted, completely worn out, so I pull the covers over him and watch as he drifts off into a nap.

I need to find out what Titan wanted me for.

Walking through the club, I don’t see any of the patched in members who are allowed into church.

Which means something has happened and church is currently running. I walk to the room and step in.

“About time,” Echo mutters as I sit down.

“What’s going on?”

“Grim has messaged. Said he’s meeting the West Crew. Wondered if a few of us wanted to go listen in.”

“Fuck yeah,” I reply immediately.

“We all voted to go. The question is who. Two is needed at the most. Anymore and we run the risk of getting seen,” Ghost explains.

“I’m going.” I need to. I need to hear if anything is said about Dylan, if they know him.

“Figured you would. We’re thinking Titan goes with you,” Echo says.

“What?” Why the fuck Titan?

“Look, we’ve got a meeting with the Cursed Kings, not to mention Sin as well, so Theo and them lot are here. We’re going to be down men, so Titan goes,” Echo says.

“Fine, fine. What time?”

“An hour. I’m thinking we set off now, get set up, hidden and wait.” Titan stands up and I look from him to Echo.

“If I hadn’t come?”

“If you weren’t here in the next five minutes, Glitch was going.”

So I almost missed this chance. “Well, I’m going and I’m ready.”

Standing, I walk out and follow Titan. I’d rather not be going anywhere with him.

“Follow me,” he calls as he climbs onto his bike. Sighing, I get on mine and follow him. Half an hour later we’re hiding our bikes in some overgrown bushes and walking the rest of the way.

“So…”

“Don’t.” I look at him. “Keep your smartass comments to yourself.”

“Was only going to say I understand Dylan’s fascination with having you fuck him.”

Groaning, I keep walking and move around the side of the warehouse. “You take upstairs, I’ll find a space downstairs.”

Chuckling, he nods and walks off and I move to find a spot to hide in. Finding a darkened corner, I slip behind some crates. Taking out my phone I reduce the brightness and load up the conversation with Titan.

The plan is simple. We only message if there’s need. I watch the dots show up, then disappear, then show up and disappear again. I already know this isn’t going to be good.

After a few minutes his message comes through.

“Ever thought of sharing?”

Groaning, I reply with a quick ‘get fucked and concentrate’.

He just sends back laughing emojis. Sure, asshole. Sighing, I watch and hear movement. Moving slightly, I watch the door open and someone step in. It’s too dark to see though.

“Come out, come out, wherever you are.”

My body locks up. Don’t assume. I can’t assume they know we’re hiding. It could be them trying to see if someone is there before they come in and talk.

More footsteps sound and I watch more people come through. A door slams somewhere, but I stay focused on what is happening ahead.

My phone vibrates and I glance down.

“I think I actually shat myself.”

Fuck me. This is why I didn’t want Titan to fucking come. He can’t just stay quiet until something important needs to be spoken about.

“You’re a fuckin asshole, focus, or—”

The phone drops as I’m suddenly dragged back and a hand clamps over my mouth. I swing my elbow back hard and hear someone groan, but at the same time something sharp pierces my skin. Within seconds my body goes limp.

Fuck. I try to reach for the phone on the floor but my body won’t listen. I’m dragged back. My body fights, trying to wake up, trying to struggle against their grip, but it doesn’t work.

“Sleep time,” the voice whispers, then something hits my temple hard. The world blurs before going black.

Waking up, my body feels weird, like it’s heavy and sluggish. My wrists hurt, and I groan, going to rub them only to find I can’t move them. Something cold is digging into my skin.

Opening my eyes, I raise my head and stop. What the fuck? I stare at the guys in the room. I don’t speak. I just assess everything, the room, the men in clean crisp suits, and the ones who are clearly the guards standing by the doors and a few closer.

I feel like this is Declan. He found out and I’m going to be tortured to death. Fucking great.

“You seem to be fucking someone important,” the one towards the back says as he cleans his gun.

“Me? Doubtful. Most of the guys I fuck pay me to dance.” I grin at him and he groans like he’s had enough.

“I don’t know what it is, the fumes, the falls off the bikes, or just the amount of alcohol, but why are you bikers always so damn dumb?”

Dumb? “I have qualifications, just not in anything I find useful.”

“Sure you do, pretty boy—”

“Awe, you think I’m pretty? Thanks,” I say with a grin and he groans again.

“Take a picture. Send it. If the reply isn’t what we want, then we make him bloody.” He gestures to one of the guys who takes a picture of me.

“I’m a little confused. If you’re trying to use me as bait to get my club to give you something, kidnapping me isn’t the way to do it.”

“This has nothing to do with your club.”

Then what the fuck is it? At first I thought Declan had set it up because he found out I’m fucking Dylan, but taking pictures of me to use as leverage isn’t Declan. It’s also not the club?

“Oh, what a shame. He said you’re not needed and he doesn’t even know who you are.”

“Who?”

As soon as the word leaves my lips someone punches me. My head snaps to the side and blood fills my mouth as the next punch lands quickly and my eye throbs. After about six punches the guy steps back and wipes his hand.

“Now let’s see if he’s more inclined to offer a deal.” The guy gestures to someone with the phone who takes another picture.

I spit at him and lunge forward but he jumps back.

“You’re tied up. You can’t get to my men,” the man says.

“Okay, who the fuck are you?”

“Sebastian McColl. Maybe you know the name?”

I run through names in my head and then shake my head. “Sorry Sebastian but you can’t be that important as I don’t know fuck all about you.”

“Yeah? Well I know all about your boyfriend, Dylan.”

My body locks up.

“His father thinks no one knows Dylan is his son? Oh I do.”

Shit. So this is because I’m fucking Dylan? “What do you want?”

“Oh just a deal. See taking Dylan won’t work. It’s too big a move. But taking Dylan’s boyfriend and sending him these pictures of you bleeding, he’s going to agree.”

I’m fucking dead. Dylan isn’t about to admit we’re fucking to his dad.

“See you tried to use Grim and I have to defend him and say he planned to follow through, only a little threat from us, and he agreed to set this up. Sure we weren’t sure you would be the one coming, but we were hopeful.”

“You may as well just kill me. I’m not that important.”

He laughs and steps closer. “Well, I have to agree. He said he has no idea who you are, and he doesn’t care.”

“Break his throttle hand.”

Of course they go for where it fucking hurts. Ensuring I can’t fucking ride.

“Look, maybe the club can help with what you want.”

“Nice attempt, but what I want your club can’t give me. Break it.”

I watch three of them surround me, and I realise they’re going to need to release my hand. Good. I watch one of them reach up and release my hand from the cuff.

The moment it’s free, I swing forward and hit one of them, but my arm is twisted behind my back, and the pain from it stops me.

“You’re smarter than this. One hand free isn’t going to help you escape,” Sebastian chuckles. “Break it, just find a way.”

“Yeah, break it, so it can’t be cuffed up. You’re not fucking smart, are you?” My words break on a scream when I feel something tighten around my hand and the bones grind.

My body thrashes then the guy behind me steps back and releases my arm that drops by my side. Well, there goes riding a bike.

I’m not sure how long I’ve been here. It’s long enough that they let me down from whatever they had me hanging from and tied me to a chair instead.

Not for my comfort. Even I know it’s not for my comfort. It’s so they can get to me easier. There’s a nice growing pool of blood beneath me that I’ve spent a lot of time watching slowly spread across the floor, the edges of it moving slightly with every weak shift of my body.

“If we have to kill him then we kill him,” Sebastian snaps somewhere in the room.

My head lolls back and I let myself start to drift, trying to fall asleep. There’s nothing to be awake for except more pain, and that will still be there when I wake up anyway. A sharp slap across my face stops me and I groan, cracking one eye open to look at the guy.

Ignoring him, I try to fall asleep again only to be slapped harder.

“Can you not let a man die in peace?” I snarl, voice hoarse and weak.

“You’re not dying,” Sebastian laughs and slaps my face again to keep me awake.

“Feels like it, so just let it happen.” I close my eyes again but he slaps me.

“You’re a fucking sadistic cunt,” I snap, the words slurring.

“Takes one to know one. No sleeping.”

Yeah, like I have a choice over that right now. My body is exhausted, my head is spinning, and I can’t keep my eyes open no matter how hard I try. They slip closed again only for him to slap me once more, the sting barely registering through the haze.

I’ve never wanted to die before. Now I do. Right now I would welcome fucking death with open arms.

“He’s lost too much blood,” someone snaps from the side.

“Then wake him up and fix it,” Sebastian shouts and slaps me again, but my mind is already retreating, giving up. “If you don’t open your eyes, I’ll go for your little boyfriend next.”

I just hum, barely conscious. Let him. I don’t give a shit anymore. That asshole ignored the messages and let them fucking do this to me.

The pain is distant now, like it’s happening to someone else. My body feels heavy, cold, and I can feel myself slipping further away. Part of me hopes they just finish it. Another part, the small, stubborn part, still wonders if Dylan will come.

But I already know the answer.

He won’t.
