Hi Cami, thanks again for giving me your number. I promise to do my best not to overwhelm you with all of us. We can be a lot, and I can only imagine how inundated you must feel.
Savannah
Finally! Viv, where did you go?
Me
We went to talk to Cami. She graciously gave me her phone number, and I promised we wouldn’t add her to all the group chats.
Savannah
Oh, I love this. A girls only chat—are we keeping it only the girls?
Me
For now. We are taking all of this one step at a time.
Cami
Thank you, I appreciate that. I’m sure this is a lot for your family too.

Our family will navigate this together. You’re included in that.

It’s been an insane few days.
Savannah
I can only imagine. And you’re comfortable staying at Jack’s? I have guest rooms that have your name on it if you just say the word.
Cami
He’s been so kind, Liam too… but he hates my RV.
Me
…Yeah, I’m going to need the full story there still.
Savannah

What if the three of us went shopping in the next few days? I have some last-minute Christmas gifts to get and could use the company. Plus, if I don’t get Emily a new comforter ASAP, I will never hear the end of it.
Savannah
Her little sister somehow put an ink cartridge on it the other day and absolutely ruined it!

I’d love some retail therapy, plus I need to get a few gifts for Walker.
Cami
I’m free the day after tomorrow, so I could probably make that work.
Savannah
Great! I’ll drive and pick everybody up. We can head into Nashville and then grab lunch or something too.
