21. Chapter 21

Movie Night

Skylar sits on my bed as I pack an overnight bag.

He is still wearing just his swim trunks and the sight of him bare chested and stretched out on my blanket is doing …

. Hot things to my body. I’m not some blushing virgin, I’ve had sex, but the way my body reacts to these wolves is way more than what I’m used to.

Before, the thought of sex was like a chore.

My boyfriends wanted it so I gave it to them.

I hardly ever came with a guy and the few times I did, it was because I played with my clit and gave myself my happy ending.

With them though, I feel like I’m on the edge just being in the same room as them.

Ordinary movements or actions seem erotic when they do them.

Like Skylar relaxing on the bed. He isn’t doing anything other than laying there with his hands behind his head, but I feel like I could combust right now with no other touching needed.

His body is drool worthy and his scent is filling up the space around me, driving my need that much higher.

It's hard to focus on grabbing my art supplies and pajamas when he is watching me, but I make myself do it anyway.

When I go to the bathroom to get my toiletries, I take a deep breath of fresh air and stare at my reflection in the mirror.

Get it together, Becca. They don’t want you like that and you can’t throw yourself at them.

With a clearer mind, I walk back into the room, ready to go.

At least, until I see that Skylar is now standing up, looking through one of my full sketch books.

I don’t care if he looks at my art, but my eyes are locked on the pillow he was laying on.

I have this insistent need to move that pillow to my secret room.

I don’t want him to know about the room or the fact that the pillow he left his scent on must go in there, immediately, so I make up an excuse.

“I’m almost ready, I just need to grab a blanket out of the closet.” Snatching the pillow by the tiniest bit of space I can, I hold it away from my body as I carry it into the closet.

My wolf is bitching about not corrupting his scent, and honestly, I don’t want it muted either.

As quickly as I can, I stash the pillow in the room next to Erik’s shirt and grab the soft fuzzy purple blanket I cuddled up with Friday night.

At the last second, I remember to grab another pillow so that even if he notices it’s different, I can just say I swapped them because I like this one more. It’s flimsy, but I’ll make it work.

Thankfully, he doesn’t say anything as he grabs my bags and leads me out of the room.

I expect to leave the house and go somewhere else, but to my surprise, he takes me to the back door and over to the barn where I shifted.

We go past the open floor I’d already seen and up a flight of stairs.

The room we walk into is the biggest room I've ever seen.

It runs the full length of the barn and it's full of all kinds of fun things.

There's a pool table towards the back, next to a dart board and a reading nook. Directly in front of where we walked in is a giant entertainment shelf with every video game system I can think of and few I don’t recognize.

There is also a wide tv that takes up most of the wall.

Facing the tv is a black suede wrap-around couch filled with pillows and throw blankets.

The middle section of the couch is folded out to a king sized bed that the other three guys are all lounging on.

Skylar rests a hand against the small of my back and gently nudges me towards the bed.

My heart is racing and I can just imagine how red my face is.

I’ve never stayed the night with a boy. Sure, I’ve snuck out and gone to a boyfriend's house late at night, but that was always just a few hours of hanging out before I went back home.

This is completely different. For one, I care about these guys way more than I did with any other person.

And two, there are four of them and one of me.

Finally, my body reacts to them differently than anyone else from before.

I want them, truly want them, and that makes things like staying the night in one bed with them a bit more nerve wrecking.

However nervous I feel, I did tell myself that I’m going to give this a shot and see where things go, this is my chance to do that.

I won’t make the first move, I’m not that brave, but I will make it obvious that I’m interested.

I’ll just be me, like I was earlier in the pool, and let the chips fall where they will.

With my mind made up, I make the rest of the short walk to the bed quick.

Jumping on the mattress, I giggle when Hutch scowls at the few popcorn kernels that fall onto the fluffy black comforter around his waist.

“Jesus, Red! Slow down or you’ll spill all the snacks and get the sheets dirty.” He smirks at me and my cheeks heat up more. The double entendre in his words isn’t lost on me. “I refuse to sleep on dirty sheets, I won’t do it.”

Skylar shakes his head and leans over the bed to snatch a fallen popcorn.

He then proceeds to throw the piece of buttery goodness at Hutch's head. “I’ve seen the sheets you sleep on and they are a pigsty.” Rolling his eyes, he looks at me and smiles.

“Don’t let him make you feel bad, Red. The boy is a slob but trying to look good so you like him. ”

Erik and CJ laugh as Hutch blushes and turns to look at the door while fanning his face.

I giggle, but settle into the middle of the top of the bed, resting against the couch cushions so I can see everyone.

Skylar is standing at the foot of the bed, facing the group.

Hutch is on my right, snuggled into his blanket and still fighting his pink cheeks, though he is facing the rest of us again.

Erik is laying in the center of the bed with his head almost resting in my lap, he moved there when I settled in.

And CJ is leaning against the cushions on the left side of the bed.

Nobody is really saying or doing anything more than watching each other, so I decide to get the night going.

“You know, I’ve never had a real slumber party before. What are we supposed to do at these things?”

CJ and Skylar share a look while Erik and Hutch smirk at one another.

I can tell that what they have in mind is not at all what actually happens at a normal slumber party.

Still, I think I may be down for it. Skylar and CJ look like they want to ask me a thousand questions then go hunt down anyone who has ever wronged me and make them pay.

Honestly, I’m not sure which of the looks is making me hotter right now.

The blatant desire, or the fierce protectiveness?

“Okay, Red.” Erik’s gaze moves to me, but the smirk stays firmly on his plump lips.

“We have two options. One,” He holds up a hand in front of my face with his pointer finger extended to emphasize his words.

“We can put on a movie and chill, like we originally planned. Or,” He adds a finger to the count and his smirk turns to an evil grin.

Hutch chuckles low under his breath and CJ and Skylar share another look, this one more of a ‘what the hell is he getting us into now’ look.

“We can have an actual slumber party.” Hutch finishes Erik’s sentence and my head tilts to the side, silently asking what he means by that statement.

“We can play party games and do stupid shit that will more than likely end with one or all of us in trouble. I vote for that option, but it’s honestly up to you. ”

“Oh, definitely that one.”

I’m practically bouncing in my seat. I’ve always wanted to play the dumb party games like Never Have I Ever or Truth and Dare, but the only person I ever hung out with is Sam and she says those games are dumb.

Now I get to play them with the guys and I can’t wait to see what secrets they have.

I’m not even worried about sharing my own secrets, because the only ones I have is that I’m an Omega and my wolf is convinced they are her mates.

And neither of those things are hidden very well.

“Fine, we will do this, but guys,” CJ glares at Erik and Hutch, clearly his next words are for them specifically. “No drinking and we absolutely can not destroy anything or leave the barn.”

“And no forcing anyone,” Skylar glances my way quickly before cutting his back to the troublemakers. Erik is sitting up now and resting on my left side, his crossed legs pressed against my thigh. Hutch is slowly creeping his way to my side. “To do anything they are uncomfortable with.”

Everyone nods then Skylar throws my bag at me.

Erik snatches it out of the air before it can hit me in the face and places it gently in front of my lap.

“Go to the bathroom and put on your pajamas and we’ll change out here.

Can’t have a pajama party in jeans.” He points to a door at the back of the room and I climb over the back of the couch, taking my bag with me.

Skylar is handing Erik my pillow and Hutch has the blanket I brought against his face.

It looks like he is sniffing it, but from this far away, I can’t be sure.

Shrugging my shoulders, I decide that I don’t really care either way.

As quickly as I can, I change into the soft cotton shorts and crop top tank with the blue alien from that Disney movie holding a blanket and the stuffed doll that I packed as my pajama set, along with fuzzy socks and a cute headband with a bow to help tame my hair.

I put the mass of curls into a messy bun and look at myself in the mirror.

I don’t have any makeup on and my hair is wild, but I feel cute.

The guys are all settled on the bed. Once again they are all shirtless, but they have on dark gray sweatpants with the school logo and a number on the right side of the waist. Howl University is printed down the left leg and our mascot, a howling wolf, is resting on the right hip.

I can only assume that these are from the football team and the number corresponds with their jersey numbers.

I find myself wishing I could get a pair that has all of their numbers on it.

Their laughter makes me realize I stopped walking to stare at them, but when I look up, I notice that they haven’t seen me yet.

Relaxing my shoulders and putting a smile on my face, I continue to make my way back to the couch-bed.

CJ is the first to notice me, and heat flares in his eyes before he looks away.

The rest of the guys look over and their reactions are close to perfect.

Erik’s mouth falls open as his gaze rakes down my body.

Skylar keeps staring at different parts of my body before quickly moving on, like he can’t decide where to look.

Hutch looks up last, and a smile slowly spreads on his lips.

“Come on over here, Red.” He holds my blanket up and waves his hand to invite me to jump back over the couch and sit down next to him. When I’m settled, he throws his arm around my shoulder and smiles down at me. “Stitch is my favorite.”
