Chapter 3
CHAPTER THREE
The sun peeping through the curtains in his bedroom shone into Kas’ eyes, serving as an unwelcomed alarm because he was not ready to get up for the day.
He and Yanna both were exhausted from the previous night’s activities and barely had their clothes off before they were in bed, sleeping deeply.
As if there already wasn’t any space between them, he pulled Yanna’s body closer, slipping his hand up her shirt and cupping one of her bare breasts.
Yanna barely stirred because she’d become well accustomed to Kas’ lack of regard for personal space.
Such didn’t exist when it came to the two of them.
“Yanna boo.”
“Yes, Kasra?” she groaned sleepily.
“Mmph, nothing, girl. I just wanted to hear that rough ass morning voice. That shit sexy as fuck.”
Yanna chortled, knowing she sounded like Batman in the morning.
Her voice was normally raspy and husky, but it was amplified in the morning.
“Move, weirdo.” She attempted to push him, but he didn’t budge.
Instead, he positioned himself over her, planting kisses to her face and neck as he groped her breast. “Eww, Kas, you have morning breath.”
“Know you capping, I never have morning breath. Which is more than I can say for you.”
“My breath don’t stink.”
“Let me see.” He knew neither of their breaths stank because they were very meticulous about oral hygiene and brushing before bed.
Still, he’d use anything as an excuse to stick his tongue in her mouth, although he really didn’t need one.
His hands roamed the softness of her skin, finding himself getting lost in the delight of their connection.
The only thing Kas loved more than being in Yanna’s space was producing music.
They both provided him with a boost of serotonin.
The exhilaration he felt when he perfected a beat was the same feeling that flowed through his body when he and Yanna interacted in any way…
. even if they were arguing. “Gotdamn, why you so fucking beautiful? You like a different type of pretty.”
Yanna’s cheeks involuntarily warmed at Kas’ words. “Don’t gas me.”
“Shit, you already know I don’t do no gassing. I mean what I say, if perfection was a person, it would literally be you.”
“Aww, Kas, you gone make me cocky complimenting me like that.”
“Yo ass been cocky as hell long before I even knew you. Later for all that though, you remember what you promised me last night, right?”
“What I promise you?”
“That you was gone fuck me like Stevie J baby mama on that video. I already checked the pole in the shower… you ain’t that big, so that muh’fucka sturdy enough.”
“How you know it’s sturdy?”
“Because I did a pull up, and it didn’t budge.”
Yanna thought about it for a moment, thinking it would be fun to try. “Okay, let’s go.”
They both scrambled to get out of the bed and had barely placed their feet on the ground when there was a knock at the door.
“What?!” Kas shouted to whoever was on the other side.
“Oop, don’t be rude, Kas. Yanna, you need to hurry up and get dressed, we have somewhere to be.”
Yanna’s hand shot to her mouth because she’d completely forgotten about their shopping date.
“Damn, Troi baby, you aggravating as hell. Why it seem like every time Yanna trying to get some dick, yo ass come trying to block?”
“First of all, that’s disgusting, but I couldn't care less about whatever y’all was trying to do. Second of all, Jaiyanna, we’re meeting people, and we don’t want to have her running late for her reception.”
Troi had a point there.
“Ugh, fine, I’m coming.” She attempted to get up, but Kas tackled her back to the bed, planting kisses on her neck and chest. “Kas, no, I gotta get dressed, you heard Troi.”
“Nah, fuck her, I ain’t hear shit.”
Yanna’s laughter filled the room because she knew he was dead serious. “But Maya ”
“Fuck her too.”
“Nooo, if I make us late, I’mma have to hear Troi mouth, which mean you gone have to hear Onyx’s mouth. Who wants to hear all that shit?”
“Yea, you right. I damn sure ain’t trying to hear that nigga complaining all day, go ‘head.” Kas climbed off Yanna, allowing her to get up off the bed.
The sight of her curves covered only in a thong caused Kas’ teeth to sink into his bottom lip before slapping her ass.
“Aye, you owe me tonight when we get back from that reception thing, though.”
“I got you. I’m doing handstands, splits, all that.”
“And I get to leave it in.”
“Unh uh, you see how bad Kian is, don’t you?”
“Yea, bad as hell.”
“Now imagine our child.”
Kas thought about it for a moment, deducing that a child with both he and Yanna’s DNA would surely be a handful. “Yea, you right. We’d probably have to sedate that lil’ muh’fucka or some shit.”
“Boy, don’t call my baby no muh’fucka.”
“My bad.” He smiled at her, biting into his lip and making his dimples pop. Kas was fully aware that his dimples were an attribute of his that made Yanna weak.
“Stop, you know exactly what you’re doing. You know what that smile makes me want to do, and I don’t have time for that right now.”
“Sexy ass, come on, hurry up and get in the shower, I’m coming too so I can show you something.”
Yanna squealed when Kas lifted her, slapping her ass while making way to his bathroom.
Yanna tossed her crossbody bag over her shoulder as she jogged down the stairs.
The quick fifteen-minute shower she was supposed to take took well over thirty due to her and Kas’ extracurricular activities.
Troi was already ready, standing at the bottom of the stairs with her arms folded across her chest, tapping her foot against the wood floors.
“Really? Y’all couldn’t wait a few damn hours to fuck on each other?”
“I mean…” Yanna started, slowly twirling in a circle when she reached the bottom of the step. “Look at me, of course he couldn’t wait. And I know you ain’t talking the way you and Onyx be jumping each other’s bones every couple of hours.”
“Shut the hell up.” Troi laughed as Layla descended the stairs.
“Where y’all going looking cute?” Layla questioned.
“About to go out and do some shopping on the island.”
“Oh, y’all little heifers ain’t have to invite me to go shopping.”
“Now you already know you can go wherever we go, and you don’t need no invitations to do so. You already dressed, so go grab your shoes. Our ride is pulling up now.”
“Alright, let me grab my shoes and bag, give me a second.”
“Okay, and I’m going to text Maya and let her know we’re running like five minutes behind.”
“M-Maya?”
“Yea, you remember the pretty girl we met at the Bridgetown Market? We ran into her and her people at a party last night.”
“Oh, o-okay, well, you know what, on second thought y’all can just gone on without me. I had forgot that I um, I had told Kian I’d take him down to the beach to build sandcastles.” Without another word, Layla took off running back up the stairs just as their driver pulled up.
“What the hell?”
“That lady starting to act like her son… the youngest one, and that’s not a good thing.”
“Yanna, shut up. The only person that acts like Kas is you. She has been a little weird the past few days, though. When we get back from the reception, I’ll see what’s up with her.”
“Good. Damn, I was about to say let me grab my phone, forgetting I don’t have one. You think we have a minute to look for it? I know it has to be around her somewhere.
“No, we don’t have time. You don’t need no phone anyway.”
Troi grabbed Yanna’s hand and pulled her toward the door so they could finally be on the way to meet who they both hoped would be new friends. They were both excited for the night ahead, but neither of them could fathom just how eventful the night would be.
After hours of shopping with the girls and taking nearly as long for everyone to get dressed, they were out the door on their way to Maya and Logan’s reception.
Troi and Onyx had made sure they’d gotten Kian down before leaving so that Layla could have a peaceful night.
Onyx’s trusted security was in the guest house, so if she needed some alone time, they’d happily step in.
The group had finally arrived at the beachfront venue where the reception was being held and was taking the walk down the sidewalk that led to the building.
Troi and Yanna led the charge while the men fell closely behind.
Kas’ eyes were glued to Yanna, and he was already counting down the time until he could get her back home.
“Aye, Jaiyanna.”
“Yes, Kas?” She answered without turning around.
“That dress you wearing is looking very much like you need yo ass ate.”
“This nigga.” Quan uttered, him and Kalil snickering at their cousin’s lack of couth.
“Oh my gosh,” Troi stated with a gasp, trying to make sure no one within earshot heard him. Onyx just shook his head because nothing his brother and Yanna said or did surprised him anymore.
Yanna was wearing a stunning canary-yellow gown that was perfect for a formal beach celebration.
The light, flowing fabric moved like ocean waves with every step she took, while ruffles cascaded down the sides, drawing attention to her curves.
The asymmetrical design, with its high slit, showed off her thick, toned leg, adding a bold and undeniably sexy touch.
The cutouts on the sides revealed just enough skin to make the dress feel modern and daring, amplifying her confident allure.
The bright yellow color popped beautifully against the backdrop of sand and ocean, complementing her glowing skin.
The train trailed softly behind her, adding a touch of effortless elegance to the sultry vibe of the dress.
Yanna embodied the spirit of a seaside celebration, radiating both beauty and sensuality with every move.
The yellow hibiscus pinned on the side of her short, platinum blonde hair.
“I mean, I’m sure there’s an empty room or closet or something in there.”
