5. Living the Prayer #3

“Ohhh, okay. I see you.” She looked at Kira and grinned.

“You got you a good one on your hands, Kira. I’ll let you go, girl.

Y’all have fun.” She smirked. “And Kira… don’t do nothing I wouldn’t.

” Kira burst out laughing as Jazz ended the call.

Kira looked at Sincere, raising a brow slightly.

“So, you really gonna pay for her flight?”

He looked back at her, calm but amused. “Hell naw, not if you don’t want me to. But if you want your friend here, then I want her here so she can have fun with you.” He stepped closer, lowering his voice just a little.

“It ain’t for her. It’s for you.” Kira studied his face for a moment, then nodded slowly. “Yeah… that’s what I wanted to hear.” She crossed her arms playfully.

“So yeah, you can send the money to me, and I’ll book the flights.” small grin tugged at his lips.

“You so sweet, daddy.” The teasing in her voice faded the second his hand slid to her waist. He pulled her closer, slow, and deliberate, like he was giving her space to pull away if she wanted to.

She didn’t and that was his yes. She wanted him just as deeply as he wanted her.

Not out of loneliness. Not out of impulse.

But because somewhere between the long drives through Harlem, the quiet talks, and the way he held her hand like she was something sacred, she knew. They had waited long enough.

His mouth found hers, tongue deep down her throat. The kiss wasn’t rushed, it was built, breath against breath, the heat between them rising in steady waves. Her fingers curled into his shirt, pulling him closer, and he let out a low laugh against her lips before kissing her again, harder.

“Kira, I don’t just want part of you. I want all of you. There’s no going back after this.”

“Who said I wanted to?” she replied softly, her eyes never leaving his as her pink silk robe slipped to the floor.

“Damn,” he said under his breath, his eyes drinking in the smooth curve of her breasts, the dip of her waist, and the quiet confidence in the way she stood before him.

“You like what you see?” she teased, gently cupping her breast.

“Word to Murtha,” he said, licking his lips.

They moved together onto the living room floor without breaking contact, her back brushing the rug as he hovered over her, eyes searching hers for a second longer than before.

“You sure?” he asked. She nodded, hands sliding up the back of his neck, pulling him down until the question disappeared between them.

His kisses trailed from her mouth to her jaw, then to the curve of her neck, slow and intentional.

She exhaled sharply, her hands gripping his shoulders as the space between them disappeared.

Every movement felt chosen, patient but charged, like they had both been holding this tension for longer than either wanted to admit.

He paused just long enough to look at her again, eyes soft despite the fire behind them.

“Kira…” Her answer was a quiet laugh, breathless, her hand sliding over his chest. “Stop thinking so much.”

That made him smile, the kind of smile that only came when he let his guard down, before he kissed her again, deeper, their rhythm finding its own pace.

The world outside didn’t matter anymore.

There was only warmth, closeness, the soft sounds of laughter and breath blending together as they held onto each other like they had nowhere else to be. Time blurred.

What started playful became slow and heavy with feeling hands learning, bodies shifting closer, the tension finally settling into something softer, quieter, more intimate than either of them expected.

And when they finally stilled, it wasn’t distance that filled the space between them.

It was closeness. The kind that didn’t need words.

“Damn, girl… you don’t know what I want to do to you.

I want to taste you, lick every part of you.

” He slowly removed her clothes, admiring her body like a work of art.

He kissed her lips, then her neck, before sucking on her breasts and trailing soft kisses down her stomach.

Spreading her legs wide, he lowered himself to please her, his tongue taking control as the star of the show.

Kira moaned, feeling as though she was about to lose control.

She wanted him so badly it stole the air from her lungs.

Every breath felt heavy with need, her body aching for him, craving the feel of him inside her, but he made her wait, dragging it out just enough to have her right where he wanted her…

desperate, ready to beg for it.“Say please,” he whispered against her ear, his voice low as he brushed his lips over hers.

“Pretty please,” she breathed back without hesitation.

Sincere held her gaze as he slowly pushed into her, making sure she felt every inch of him.

Her eyes fluttered, then rolled back as the sensation took over.

His hands tightened around her hips, grounding her as he drove into her with steady, deliberate force, every stroke he took, he pounded her with conviction

“Damn, baby… I’m about to cum,” she said, her voice trembling, barely holding together.

He smirked, watching her facial expression as her juices flowed beneath him, knowing he was the one satisfying her.

The way her body responded, the way she said his name, it fed his ego, made him slow down just enough to stretch the moment out.

“OMG, Sincere!”

“Yeah… just like that,” he murmured, his grip tightening slightly, keeping her right where he wanted her.
