Chapter Nine
Mercedes
I walked out of the hospital room to take a little bit of a break, the police officers smiled at me as I leaned up against the wall.
“We will be catching him soon” I smiled at the older one.
“I know, I just am a bit confused about why he attacked my dad. Do you know anything?” They both shook their heads then looked down the hallway as Iron walked towards us looking very grim. Rider was walking next to him looking the exact same way.
“Whats wrong? Did you find him?” The two police officers stood up straight watching Iron.
“No, but it is a good thing that you are out here instead of inside the room. We have made the connection that Davies has been stalking you for round three or so weeks” I felt sick as I stumbled back against the wall.
“Three weeks? He has been watching me for weeks? Then my car” I held my head in my hands as I heard the police officers speak over their radios.
“We will be needing some help from the police to find him, but we would like to keep this in the club as it affects one of ours” Iron spoke as he pulled me into his arms. He smelt like stale sweat over his usual sandalwood smell.
“You found one of his minions?” Iron chuckled pulling me closer.
“Yes. Just a druggy but he let out some information that we needed. We will get Davies so you can feel safe again”
“We will need to get some information from you” Iron groaned into the side of my face as the older police officer spoke.
“You can call my Prez”
“Let’s go inside” I grabbed hold of his arm and gently pulled him into the room shutting out Rider and the two police.
Iron looked very tired right now. Mum must have seen it because she gently pushed him towards the empty chair.
“I would offer you some coffee but I’m afraid we aren’t allowed out of the room until Hugh is ready to leave” I smiled as I dropped down onto Irons lap as he grunted.
“Then would it be ok if I took Mercedes home with me back to the compound. I would be better if she was behind the fence and protected” I rolled my eyes earning a little glare from my dad.
“You will go with Iron and stay protected. I don’t want to risk you” I took a deep breath in when the tears started to threaten to fall again.
“Ok dad” dad just gave me a nod then turned back to my mum giving her a big smile.
“That was the first time she agreed to us. This must be a lucky day” I dropped my head back onto Iron shoulder as he laughed. Turning my head I kissed his stubbily cheek earning me a tighter hug.
“Go. We will be ok” I nodded as Iron pushed me gently so I was standing.
“Let’s go. Do you need some clothes?”
“Yep I do. I saw the pool you had. I have no bathers and would love to go for a swim. I doubt you would let me go back to my place to grab mine?” I was right when Iron shook his head as he directed me to the elevator.
“Not a chance. I don’t know what he has done to your place, so I don’t want to risk it. We can just stop by the shops on the way back to the clubhouse”
“This isn’t you buying me a whole wardrobe thing that Luna was warning me about” Iron just grinned but didn’t say anything as Rider chuckled from behind us.
“Iron” no answer.
Fine if he was going to be like that then I will be buying the most expensive shit that I could find.

I underestimated Iron as I stood in the living room of his small place with at least seven bags in front of me. I went to the expensive stores and picked out the stuff that I really liked but never thought I would afford them. He just bought them all.
“Told you” Iron walked out of the bathroom with a pair of board shorts on. Shit he looked amazing.
“Yes well. I didn’t expect this” I kept staring at his chest as he walked around the room grabbing the clothes from the bags to hold them up. Most of them were jeans and some nice shirts. I liked to be comfortable when I was out of work, so I wore the basics.
“Didn’t think you would be a no dresses kind of girl” I shrugged still looking at his rippling muscles as he turned.
“If you take me out on a date then I will dress up but my basics are comfy” Iron looked over at me smiling as he then looked me up and down.
“A tight red dress would look amazing on you maybe after all of this then I can take you out on a date” I smiled feeling giddy as I grabbed my new bathers to put them into the washing machine with he rest of my stuff.
“Nadia has dropped off some bathers for you. So do you want to go for a swim?” I turned on the laundry looking over my shoulder at a smiling Iron. All the stress of the past few days and now my dad made me need some stress release.
“I’m thinking about something else for right now” Iron grinned pulling the tie on his shorts.
“We are thinking the exact same thing” I threw my top off to the side as I jumped into his arms.
“Think about other things later” I mumbled against his lips.
“Yes. Much later” Iron slipped his hand up the side of my shorts as he pressed my back against the wall.
Fucking hell his kisses were amazing as he rolled his hips making me crazy with want. Want for him to pull down his pants and thrust into me.
“Are you getting impatient?” I huffed into his kiss.
I dropped my legs back down to the ground and began to push him back towards the couch. I gave him a peck on the lips before one last push that made him trip backwards on to the couch.
“Much better” I knelt down between his legs and started to unbutton his jeans. A little pull then they were down his legs and his dick bounced in all its glory. I stood up grabbing hold of it and gently stroking while I pulled down my own shorts.
“Shit. Get on me” I swung my leg over his hips smacking his hands away when he wanted to control the movements.
Damn he felt good as I slowly sunk down onto him. That’s when I paused.
“Condom” I gasped out as I started to move.
“I’m clean but shit don’t stop. I will pull out when its time” I squealed when Iron pulled me into his arms as he moved his hips fast pounding into me.
I had to hold onto the back of the couch so I didn’t fly forward with his punishing movements.
My mouth dropped open as his pelvis was hitting the right spot on the outside while his dick was hitting the right spot inside of me that I went off like I have never done before.
My breath halted as the feeling of being numb but also being electrocuted shot through me that out was also pass out worthy.
“God, you tighten around me so good. Fucking hell I’m close” I groaned as my breath came back as Iron pulled out of me hitting my back with his come.
“That was close. Shit” all I had to do was laugh weakly as we just rested there.
“We can make it to the bed next time. Maybe tonight when we have rested” I just groaned again as he moved.
I looked over at him as he was leaning back with his eyes closed. After a few days and a few bouts of amazing sex I know that I have fallen for him. He is everything I want in a man and more.
I leaned down to press my lips to his stubbly cheek.
“Yeah. Me too” I just smiled curling into his warmth as the after sex crash hit me.
Iron
I chewed on the burger in front of me as Mercedes was at the pool table laughing with the other women.
“We have visitors” I turned my head to watch Demon, Crow, Angel and Bear walk into the clubhouse. I took another bite of my burger as Mercedes walked over to me in her tight jeans and tight top.
“Hello brother. No greeting for the help I bring you” I rolled my eyes as Demon came walking over with a big grin on his face.
He did look similar to me because we were twins but he was a little taller than me and more built.
My face was a little bit more slim than his which was how people used to tell us apart.
“The help is needed. Thank you” Mercedes spoke up giving Demon a big smile.
“Is this my sister in law?” I took another bite before standing up.
“Damn you are annoying” I said pulling Demon in to a hug. Fucking hell I don’t remember the last time I have willingly hugged him.
“Yep, world is ending now” I turned to look at Rider who just shrugged.
“Ok hate to break all of this up but we have a place” Alex ran out looking at all of us.
“Fucking finally” I yelled out running to Ales’s office. The man had an address up on the screen with five faces all staring back at us.
“What the fuck is this?” I pointed to the screen.
“This is the gang that Davies is connected with. The cars that were weird at the back of that garage were all empty to hide a fuck tonne of drugs into. He has connections to the guys at you have been trying to find” Blue stepped forward looking at the five faces.
“Two of them have killed before. They are low life’s that only do jobs to make money, doesn’t matter what they do”
“Exactly. Davies has been using them as a cover. Except he has gotten in too deep with them. I can see by his bank statements is that he has been getting paid by them but very little. Most of his money he is getting is from the garage but more has been taken out through a well known loan hub. Basically he is in too deep with them” I looked at the photos then to the street view of the small warehouse.
The fucker has just been down the street from the club.
“So the warehouse there was his idea? Makes sense because no one would suspect that”
“Yep. So the asshole is hiding out there. Most likely waiting for Mercedes to walk out or go to work so he can grab her. Sorry but I think that’s what he is planning” Alex gave me a hesitant look. I wouldn’t get angry at him for that.
He was right.
“Ok lets go. Who is staying back?” Alex held up his hand as well as Hawk.
“We will walk around the area just in case anything shows up” I nodded as the computer blinked again with Davies face on the screen. The man got my blood boiling in anger.
“He looks weird” Demon moved. His head to the side looking at the photo of Davies.
“Who is that?” I quickly turned around as Mercedes walked into the room looking at the screen.
“That’s Davies” I pointed to the screen as Mercedes look confused.
“That’s not Davies” I looked at the screen again then back at her.
“What are you saying?” Prez walked over to Mercedes as she shrunk back slightly. I quickly rushed over to pulled her into my arms and away from the Prez.
“That’s not the man who assaulted me” She pointed to the screen then grabbed her phone.
“This is” she turned it around so we could all see the face of a man I had never seen before. He was larger than the actual Davies and I must say meaner looking.
“Where did you get this picture?”
“Dad took a photo before the man. Well who I thought was Davies attacked him”
“So we are looking for a copycat. Fucking hell no wonder we haven’t been able to locate him. They do look similar with the hair cut and beard” Blue walked over to grab Mercedes phone.
“Alex get this face on the scanner. I want everything on this man”
“Now we need to locate the actual Davies and find the one that has been impersonating him” Prez walked up to the computer looking at the many faces that were now flicking through it again.
“Iron, this is more serious than we first thought. Get the blankets from your places and stay in the spare rooms. I don’t want anyone to be out of anyone’s sight.
We find him and get rid of him because the serious thing in this is that we don’t know what he is capable of.
We know what Davies was capable of but not this man” Prez walked out of the room after that.
“Well then, can I go hunt now” Angel who always gave me the creeps was standing off to the side looking at the computer screen.
“Sure. You can go with Iron. You two can see if you can locate the real Davies then we will try and find the fake one. We will meet back here at ten to bunker down for the night” Blue stood up as well walking out.
“Ok then, let’s go” I looked down at Mecedes who looked worried, I didn’t want her to worry about anything but this situation had gotten a lot more complicated for all of us.
“Be safe”
