Chapter Eleven
Iron
“Where is the real Davies?” I leaned up against the wall of our small cottage that we had built to be a small torture chamber of sorts.
The man was just swinging from the hook in the middle of the room while Hawk interrogated him. I had to take a step back as per rules. I wasn’t allowed to ask questions as I could kill him.
“He isn’t singing” Demon walked over. Crow wasn’t here as the man didn’t like doing this kind of stuff. Don’t blame him though, Gears and Rider were in the clubhouse as they didn’t like stepping in to do this kind of stuff.
“He isn’t singing because he doesn’t know. The blood could be from anyone” I pushed away form the wall to circle him.
“You don’t know where Davies is because you don’t give a shit. Davies is most likely hiding away because of a drug bust. Hell he might not even be in the city right now. Am I right?” I saw a twitch in the mans jaw.
“You are his. What… Brother? Cousin? Something along those lines because you do look alike” that got another twitch.
“Cousin?” I clicked my fingers making him jump.
“Well fuck. That pieces things together. Now why Mercedes?” silence.
“You saw her and wanted her? Maybe Davies saw her and liked her as well so wanted what he was hooked on? Too bad that she is mine” that got me a glare and a baring of teeth.
“Fuck. I don’t think there is anything else except for a deranged man that wants what he shouldn’t have” I balled my fist letting it swing forward connecting to his jaw. Damn that felt amazing as I threw another one then another one.
I took a step back as Demon stepped forward throwing his punches.
The club took their turns until Angel stepped forward finishing him off.
“Thanks. I need to get back to Mercedes” I washed my hands and getting rid of my clothes in the bin.
I grabbed a new set of clothes throwing them on as I walked outside to the night sky.
“We need to find Davies if he is connected to the guys I am looking for” Blue stepped out beside me.
“Give me a few days then we will start our search again” Blue nodded slapping me on the shoulder before walking into the night.
“I want a beer with you before I fly back to Sydney. Too much stuff we need to catch up on” I rolled my eyes as Demon stepped out.
“Deal. Now I got to get home” I ran off down the road to the cottage that still had a light on. Stepping up I opened the door to see Mercedes on the bed with a movie going.
“All done” I took off my pants and stripped out of my top before getting into the bed after I turned off the light. Mercedes instantly cuddled into my arms.
“Good. I am really sorry” I pressed my lips to the top of her head as she breathed in deep.
“As I said before. If it wasn’t for you then we wouldn’t have found him, you helped us” she gave me a little nod before going silent again.
“Here’s to forever” I grinned pulling her closer as she mumbled the words as she fell asleep.
“To forever my stubborn woman”
I leaned back watching the movie thinking over the days that were coming.
They can wait for today.
