13. Fallon
Fallon
The tips of my ears burn as I stare up at Luciano, the scent of his cologne making me almost feel drunk. How is it possible for one man to smell so damn delicious? Just being this close to him makes my panties damp.
I have a feeling I know what side of himself he was talking about earlier. He’s dropped hints about spanking me and being a Daddy Dom. Though I’m not sure what that entails. I’m no virgin, but I’ve also never experienced any kind of sex other than vanilla in my life. Disappointing vanilla sex.
“You know what,” I answer with a bit more sass in my tone than I meant.
Luciano raises an eyebrow, and that alone makes me clench my thighs even tighter.
The man is so intimidating, but not in a way that scares me.
I think he likes it when I challenge him.
I’m pretty sure he’s not used to it. From what I’ve seen, everyone jumps to his command the moment it comes out of his sexy mouth.
“You know being smart with me won’t end well for your ass,” he says.
“I’m starting to think you’re obsessed with my ass.” I smirk at him, enjoying this little bit of banter with him.
I get the feeling Luciano doesn’t relax very often.
His job seems serious, and the only time I’ve seen him smile is when I’ve said something to make that happen.
Around Alessandro and his men, he’s all business.
Seeing a softer, more playful side of him makes me feel like I have some sort of superpower over him.
Luciano leans against the back of the couch, and my gaze immediately drops to his crotch where the outline of his cock is visible. Slowly, he moves one of his hands and adjusts himself.
“I’m obsessed with everything about you, Fallon. Aren’t you getting that yet? Your ass is just a bonus, princess. It needs my handprint on it.”
I blink several times, unable to process that fully. “We’ve known each other for three days.”
He nods. “Yeah, and in those three days, I’ve learned enough to know that I want you. I want to dominate you and control you. To protect you and spoil you. And in that time, I’ve figured out that I want to Daddy you.”
Daddy.
That singular word.
It does things to me that I don’t understand.
A shiver works its way through me all the way down to my core, and my nipples ache against my lightly padded bra.
Why does my body react to that word? I’ve fantasized about calling a man Daddy before.
I assumed there was something wrong with me because of all my mom’s boyfriends and husbands who were in my life over the years.
I’ve never even met my real father. So surely I have Daddy issues.
“I don’t know what that means,” I say, trying to ignore the fact that my voice sounds as breathless as I feel right now.
Luciano leans over, his hands landing on my hips before he lifts me with no effort and settles me in his lap. His cock digs into my ass, making me squirm as my body reacts to the feel of something big and hard pressed against my clit.
“Sit still,” he instructs tightly, his fingers tightening so I can’t move.
“You’re poking me,” I whine as I try to turn my face away from his so he can’t see the smile I’m fighting.
“Baby, I’m going to be doing a whole lot more if you don’t stop. You’re killing me. I haven’t stopped thinking about you since the night I walked out and saw you smashing up my car. I’m barely hanging on right now.”
I still find it hard to believe that Luciano is this attracted to me.
I’m nothing special. Hell, I’m far from it.
I might look attractive, but I’m certainly not a model, and my education and life experiences are limited.
Surely he’d prefer a woman who likes the finer things in life like him.
Someone who has social status and money. I’m gutter trash in comparison.
“You don’t like me. You just want to fuck me,” I murmur. “You don’t have to lie to me for that to happen.”
Luciano’s hand darts out, gripping my chin roughly as he forces me to look at him, his icy blue eyes burning into mine. “Let’s get one thing straight, princess. I don’t fucking lie. I won’t ever lie to you. If I just wanted to fuck you, I would tell you. That’s not what I want.”
He doesn’t release me, and the longer he glares at me, the more my stomach twists and my ass tingles like I might be entering dangerous territory.
“Then what do you want?” I whisper.
Luciano’s men continue to move in and out of the apartment around us, ignoring us completely. Part of me wonders what they might be thinking, but another part of me doesn’t care, because even though I know they’re here, my attention is solely on the man in front of me.
“I want to give you safety. Rules. Boundaries. I want to punish you when you’re naughty, and I want to reward you when you’re my good girl.
And yes, I want to fuck you all day and night.
But I also want to spoil the fuck out of you because I have a feeling you’ve never experienced someone putting you first.”
My eyes burn as I stare at him, and I try to blink back the tears threatening to spill over.
I’m so confused. Why does he care about me?
Throughout my life, no one has given a shit.
Not even my mom. She was always more worried about her relationships and finding the next best thing with the next man.
It’s one of the reasons we rarely speak now.
Deep down, I’ve always felt that my mom regretted having me. I was the baggage she didn’t want.
“I just got out of a relationship,” I say.
“A shitty one,” he answers. “Tell me, princess, before you knew he was a cheating piece of shit, were you happy? Fulfilled?”
No. Not in the slightest.
It didn’t take more than a few months of living with Joshua to feel an emptiness inside me that I didn’t want to admit.
For once, I wanted something solid in my life.
The last thing I want is to jump from one relationship to another, forever looking for a good man.
Did I ignore Joshua’s red flags, or did he put on such a good act at first that I didn’t notice?
I feel like it was the latter because I look for those red flags in every single person I meet.
Luciano has a million of them. And yet, he feels more real than anyone I’ve ever met.
“What do you want with me?” I finally ask.
Luciano reaches up and tucks one of my platinum-blonde tendrils behind my ear as he studies my face, his expression tender. “I want a chance, princess. Let me show you what it would be like to be with me. Let me spoil you like you deserve.”
“I’m nothing special.”
His jaw tightens, and he moves his hand to my chin again, holding it tightly in a way that makes me feel safe and secure as I stare into his icy blue eyes.
“Rule number one, princess, is that you aren’t allowed to say negative things about yourself.
You’re not even allowed to think negative things about yourself. ”
Biting my lower lip, I don’t say anything, mostly because I can’t due to the tightness in my throat. If only it were that easy to stop thinking horrible things about myself.
“One thing about me, Fallon: I’m not going to let anyone hurt you, including yourself. I will punish you if you disobey my rules. You’ll find yourself put over my knees and I will spank you like a naughty Little girl when you deserve it.”
Narrowing my gaze, I sit up a little straighter and pull my shoulders back. “So you’re going to spank me whenever I don’t do something you want?”
The last thing I need is some man controlling me and turning me into his puppet.
“No, baby. I want you to be who you are. Wild, bratty, sassy, a fighter. But I want you to do those things safely and within reason. In this kind of dynamic, I would give you rules for your health and safety, and some of my pleasure. You can act however you want within those boundaries. It doesn’t mean I won’t punish you if you’re acting unreasonably and don’t behave when I warn you, but I’m not trying to change you as a person.
I like your fire, princess. It’s my favorite thing about you.
It’s what has made me so obsessed with you.
But I have seen that you make some unsafe choices, like trying to climb on top of a car and sleep in a fucking salon. Those things aren’t acceptable.”
No one has ever cared about my safety before.
Not my mom, not any of the men she forced into my life, not Joshua.
The only person I can truly say has cared about me is my best friend, Monroe.
But usually, we get into trouble together because she’s so much like me.
If I had called her to come help me vandalize Joshua’s car, she would have been there in a heartbeat.
I really need to call her, actually. She’s been going through it with her own crappy boyfriend, who I can’t stand, so I haven’t wanted to bother her.
But she’s going to be in gossip heaven when I tell her about Luciano and what’s been happening over the last few days.
My attention shifts as two of Luciano’s men move through the apartment with a mattress that’s wrapped up in plastic that is definitely not the one from Joshua’s apartment.
“Is that a new mattress?” I ask as I track them taking it into the bedroom.
Luciano rubs his hands over my arms, gently squeezing my biceps.
“I’m not going to sleep on a bed you shared with another man, princess.
I might not want to control everything about you, but I am a jealous, possessive man.
If you’re with me, there will be no other men in your life.
If you have guy friends, I will meet them and be with you anytime they are around.
I don’t share what’s mine, and you won’t ever have to share me. ”
This man is absolutely insane. And intense. And it scares me that I like it so much.
“So you bought me a brand-new bed?”
“Yes.”
He says it so definitively, like it wasn’t even a consideration in his mind.
“What if I say no?” I ask.
