Ours #3

I felt the change first as a softening in the pressure, then as a loosening in the place where my body had been held open around him.

Rhain felt it too. His hands came to my hips, steady and careful, not guiding me off him yet, only making sure I did not have to hold my own weight while he released me.

“Slow,” he murmured.

“I know.”

“No,” he said, mouth brushing my shoulder. “I am saying it to myself.”

The knot released the rest of the way, and Rhain held me through the small, aching shift of separation. I lifted slowly. Even after our bodies separated, the bond held its shape, warm and awake beneath my skin.

Rhain sat up and gathered me into his lap before I could decide whether my bones were still participating. His arms came around me, loose enough to let me breathe, firm enough that the part of me still shaking knew where to land.

Then he kissed me and when he drew back, his forehead stayed against mine.

“How are you?”

I swallowed. “Amazing.”

His thumb brushed my cheek. “Yes, you are.”

The words landed softly. Then Rhain kissed the corner of my mouth and said nothing more.

Eventually his gaze moved past me to Dominic. Then back to me.

“Do you want to stop?” Rhain asked.

I shook my head before the sentence arrived.

His eyes searched mine for one more breath, making sure the answer was mine and not the bond speaking over me. Then he nodded.

“All right,” he said. “Then tell him.”

He moved beneath me first, slow because the knot had only just released and my body had not entirely remembered how to be separate from his.

He kissed my mouth, then my shoulder, then eased himself down the bed until he was lying on his back near the foot, head angled toward the pillows, body stretched beneath the space where he wanted me.

Dominic was already behind me, waiting.

Rhain’s hands found my waist and guided me forward until I was over him, braced above him on my hands and knees.

My palms pressed into the mattress on either side of his ribs.

My knees settled outside his shoulders. My chest hovered above his face, close enough that his breath warmed the underside of my breast, and my hips lifted behind me where Dominic stood between my thighs.

The position took a second to understand.

Rhain looked up at me from below, the dragon finally at the front of his composure, without apology. His hands slid up my sides to my breasts.

Rhain was beneath me, mouth inches from my skin. Dominic behind me, solid and waiting.

“Tell him what you want,” Rhain said from below me, his voice rough with the effort of staying still.

My fingers curled into the sheet.

“Dominic.”

“Yes.”

“Take me.”

Dominic’s hands tightened at my hips.

“Specific.”

My breath broke. “Take me from behind.”

The blunt heat of Dominic pressed against me first, slow and certain, giving me time to brace. The stretch sent euphoria through me so abruptly my elbows almost gave.

Rhain caught me with his mouth at my breast. Dominic caught me with his hands at my hips. Between them, I stayed upright.

Dominic pressed in to the hilt and held there, breathing hard behind me, not moving yet. The stillness was full of him and Rhain.

Rhain’s hands moved over my breasts, slow and grounding, his mouth following one touch with another until I stopped trying to decide where sensation belonged.

His lips moved lower, down the center of me, and the arrangement of us shifted from impossible to inevitable: my chest above his face, my hips lifted to Dominic, Rhain’s mouth close to the place where Dominic was inside me.

He paused there obscenely. Then his mouth found me.

My head dropped and I spasmed around Dominic whose hands tightened at my hips, but still did not move.

Rhain’s mouth worked slowly, the flat of his tongue and the careful pressure of his lips, while one hand stayed at my breast and the other pressed firm at the place where Dominic entered me, holding me open.

Dominic moved. One deep stroke, then another, each one measured to the rhythm Rhain’s mouth was making beneath me. The two of them found the pace together without speaking, Dominic filling me from behind while Rhain drew the pleasure forward.

“Faster,” I said, except it came out broken.

Dominic bent over me, his chest covering my back, his mouth close to the left mark. “How do you say it.”

I shook under him. “Please.”

Rhain’s mouth paused just long enough for me to feel him smile against me.

“Specific,” Dominic said.

I made a sound that would have embarrassed me if shame had not already evacuated the building.

“Faster,” I said. “Please. Fuck me.”

The pace changed at once, deeper and harder, his hands drawing me back to meet him while Rhain’s mouth stayed on me from below.

The fifth orgasm began with the change of pace, deep and climbing and already too large, building at the point where Dominic drove into me, where Rhain’s mouth held me, where both marks rang against my throat.

The bond rose with it. Too fast. Too full.

“Knot me, Dominic.” I was already screaming it.

Dominic went still behind me.

His hips locked, his breath breaking hard against the back of my neck as the base of him began to swell.

He caught at the entrance and stayed there, shaking with the effort of not driving through it too fast, one arm banded across my ribs and the other splayed over my stomach, holding me exactly where the bond wanted me.

Rhain’s mouth lifted from my body.

I felt him rise beneath me, felt his hands slide from my breasts to my waist, then higher, guiding me down just enough that my throat came within reach.

Dominic’s teeth found his claim from behind.

Rhain’s mouth found the other.

For one suspended second, they both held there.

Breath. Heat. Teeth.

Then they bit.

The two channels met in the center of my chest so hard my body bowed between them.

Dominic’s knot pushed wide at the same instant his teeth locked into his claim.

Rhain’s bite answered on the other side, sharp and perfect, and the brightness that had been climbing for four days finally found its register.

The stretch whited out everything past the edge of my breath.

I came on the knot and the bites together, the wave landing everywhere at once, heavy and bright and too large for the body trying to hold it.

My muscles locked around Dominic as the knot caught fully, and he groaned into the back of my neck, his teeth still set in the mark.

Rhain held his bite at the right side of my throat, one hand at my jaw, the other braced at my waist, and the bond tore through all three of us without separating.

It crossed me into Dominic, crossed Dominic into Rhain, came back to me with both of them in it, a closed loop of heat and breath and claim. Each round of it landed heavier than the last, Rhain’s pleasure and Dominic’s and mine compounding until there was no telling whose it had started as.

Dominic came with a rough, wrecked sound I felt in my spine, his knot holding him deep as his forehead pressed to the back of my neck. Rhain shuddered against my throat, his teeth releasing only when the bond had taken everything it needed from the bite.

For one breath, no one moved. Then another. Then a third.

The bond stayed bright but not sharp or frantic anymore. Settled.

Dominic’s mouth softened over the mark he had made, and Rhain lifted his head enough to find my mouth.

He kissed me slowly, almost carefully, as if the word was still there between us and he did not want to bruise it.

“V?r,” he said into my mouth.

Ours.
