Chapter 16
“Damn, baby.” I groaned while I gripped the back of Harvest’s head.
She looked up at me as my dick glided in and out of her red-covered mouth.
She had just taken pictures for a brand that wanted her to be an ambassador for their new makeup line.
As soon as she was done, she found me sitting on the couch and immediately dropped to her knees.
I wasn’t sure what prompted it, but I damn sure wasn’t complaining.
Since the day we reconnected at the video shoot, we’d been joined at the hip.
At least as much as life had let us. We both had obligations, but when we had free time, we were together.
Some days, we were at her house; other times, we were at mine.
She loved coming to my house, so she spent more time there.
She loved the theater room, and we had sex multiple times in there instead of watching whatever movie she put on.
Harvest hummed and grabbed my balls, and the action caused my dick to twitch. I lifted my hips to meet her mouth. Every time she gagged, her mouth got wetter, and my grip tightened on her hair.
When my dick hit the back of her throat and she made that gurgling nose, I lost it, and my nut shot right out of my dick. Harvest continued to suck and hum as she swallowed every last drop.
“Gotdamn. I don’t know what you did before you came in here, but do that shit again,” I said while I put my dick in my pants.
Harvest wiped her mouth, then got off the floor to sit next to me on the couch.
“I uploaded a couple of pictures on social media, and as I scrolled past a picture of you, I said to myself, ‘damn my husband is fine.’”
I picked her up and put her on my lap. Her ponytail had come loose when she sucked my dick, and the red lipstick on her mouth was smudged, but she still looked fine as hell to me.
My hands went to her ass, and I squeezed. Since we were lounging all day, she had on leggings and a crop top.
“Is that right?” I nuzzled my head in the crook of her neck.
“Mhm.” She giggled as she squirmed.
I kissed her neck a few times as my hands massaged her butt cheeks.
“I’m sure I don’t have to tell you how fine my wife is. In fact, she’s so fine I want to take her on a date.”
Harvest and I had been keeping our relationship somewhat of a secret, but I was ready to put it out there for the world.
People had speculated since we were spotted in Vegas, but we hadn’t confirmed it.
We were just enjoying ourselves without everyone in our faces all the time.
So far, when we went out, we entered through back doors and rented private rooms. Sometimes I would have a whole restaurant shut down just so we weren’t bothered.
This date was us announcing we were together.
“I’d love to go on a date with you.”
“Good. I already cleared my schedule for tomorrow, and I know you are free as well.”
Harvest didn’t have a photo shoot for at least two weeks, so I was going to capitalize on her time as much as I could.
The video for Big Tex hadn’t come out yet, but I knew as soon as it did, Harvest’s phone would blow up.
My baby owned the camera and that video shoot.
She was the finest woman in that video. At first, I didn’t want to see him or anyone else with their hands on her, but I knew it was part of the job.
Big Tex had respect for me, so things didn’t get out of hand.
I’d been trying to get him to sign with me, but he loved being independent.
I respected it and told him I’d be there if he changed his mind, or if he ever needed advice.
“I guess you have it all planned.”
I wrapped my arms around Harvest’s waist and pulled her close. She rested her head on my chest, and I inhaled her scent.
“I do.”
“Well, I can’t wait.” Harvest yawned, and before I knew it, she had fallen asleep.
I enjoyed the quiet moments we got to spend together. Harvest was just what I needed after a long day of dealing with people. She was my peace and comfort. With her, I was able to quiet my mind. The only thing I thought about was making sure she was good.
I’d blocked my entire day to spend time with Harvest. I made sure nobody needed me before I turned my work phone off.
I still kept my personal one on, just in case my parents needed me.
Everyone was notified not to bother me unless someone was dying.
Harvest and I had been working hard, and I wanted us to be able to relax without any interruptions, and I made sure to tell Harvest that as well.
She’d stayed the night at my house, and we had breakfast in bed. After we had breakfast, we chilled for a little bit, then got ready for our day.
“I found you a bodyguard that I feel I could trust,” I told Harvest as we drove to our first destination.
“You really think that’s necessary?”
“Very necessary. I’ve seen how thirsty men be in your comments, and I don’t want anyone to try some shit with you.
Aiden is a good dude and has plenty of experience.
He used to be a marine before he started his own security firm.
Him and Noah used to work together. If I didn’t trust him with you, I wouldn’t have hired him.
” I reached over and rested my hand on her thigh.
“He knows how important you are to me and that if something happens to you under his watch, then that’s his ass. ”
“You sure threaten people a lot, don’t you?”
Turning toward Harvest, I smirked. “Oh, you think those are threats? No, sweetheart, those are promises.”
Harvest thought I talked to just to be talking, but that wasn’t the case.
I took her and her safety seriously, and I wasn’t about to play any games when it came to her.
Even with Noah vouching for Aiden, I still had multiple conversations with him.
I needed to be sure he understood how precious Harvest was to me.
“Let me find out you’re an undercover thug,” Harvest joked.
“I just know a lot of people, and some of them would do anything for some money.” I would never call myself a thug or anything like that, because I had it good growing up.
Of course, I had gotten into fights as a kid, but never anything crazy.
Since being in the music business, I came across plenty of people.
Some were sketchy but ended up cool. Some didn’t give a damn about life and did whatever.
Then, there were some who didn’t mind getting their hands dirty, as long as it was for a good reason.
“So, when is this Aiden person supposed to start? And where is Noah?”
“Aiden has already started,” I informed her.
He was good at his job, so she didn’t even know he had been with her for a few days. We agreed he would keep his distance until I had a chance to talk to her.
“What do you mean? I haven’t seen him.”
I explained to her that I wanted to test things out before I introduced them. Aiden and I talked, and he would meet us at my house whenever we got back.
“As far as Noah, he’s around. The only thing that you need to be concerned with today is how much of my money you want to spend.”
We arrived at the mall, and I was prepared to blow a few bags on Harvest. Almost every store in the mall was high-end. Whatever she wanted, she could get.
Harvest looked out the window and rubbed her hands together.
“Oh, I’m about to spend it all.” She smiled.
I chuckled. “That’s cute, but you can’t spend it all.” I wasn’t the type to brag about what was in my bank accounts, but my money was long.
My children’s children were set for life, and I still had more money to make.
I had never been the flashy type, so my money wasn’t spent on a lot of jewelry and shit like that.
My house was bigger than I needed it, but it could be bigger.
I only had two cars. Most of my money went into investments.
The music business wasn’t going anywhere, but my father taught me to always have multiple streams of income, and that was what I did.
“Okay. Shut me up then.” Harvest giggled. “I’m ready.”
After shutting my truck off, I got out, then walked around to help Harvest out. When we entered the mall, Harvest decided on what store she wanted to go to first, and we headed that way.
We spent a couple of hours at the mall, then we went and got something to eat.
Later in the day, we rode bikes near the beach to watch the sunset.
“I think we should have a family dinner at my house. Just your parents and mine. We need to tell them about our marriage,” I told Harvest as I hugged her from behind.
The sun slowly went down, and the sky was different hues of oranges, lavender, and even pink. It was picture-perfect, and sharing it with Harvest made it that much better.
“I think that’s a good idea. My parents aren’t on social media that much, but I’m sure they probably saw something about us by now. Knowing my mother, she’s waiting for me to say something.” Harvest laughed.
I held her tighter and kissed her neck. We’d been out all day, but she still smelled like caramel and vanilla.
“We’ll set something up so we can tell them.”
Harvest put her hands over mine, which rested on her belly. I had visions of watching her stomach grow whenever she was ready to have a baby.
“Okay.” She leaned her head back onto my chest.
I gazed into her eyes and knew she was my forever. I kissed her lips, and we watched the sun a little longer. Before it got too dark, we rode the bikes back to where we picked them up from, then headed to my house.
