Epilogue
The rooftop of the school was where most outdoor activities happened. Sports and shifting class and defense and weapons… But also, it gave the most incredible view of the city. And my sisters and I stood there together, taking in the view. Rohan had left just over an hour before, and I was still processing everything that happened.
“So, Cleo,” Ava said, “nice lioness. What else can you do?”
“Anything. Just don’t ask me to be a fish unless there’s water nearby, or it gets very uncomfortable fast.”
Minx giggled. “I can imagine. It must be fantastic to do that.”
“It is now, but Rohan was right that I was out of control when I was young. Angie helped me work on it though. My servant and friend? I have mentioned her, I’m sure.”
They nodded.
“I texted her by the way and let her know what happened, and she’s fine.”
“That’s great news. Maybe you can show us some of your other animals?” Kiki asked. “So our wolves can get to know their family.”
“I would love to, but can we do that another day?” My cheeks warmed. “I’m kind of ummm…”
“On your honeymoon!” Minx slapped Kiki’s arm. “Why are we even here? Your mates are waiting. I’m so excited for you. We have to plan a celebration.”
“But not today,” Ava added and they all hugged me. “We love you, Cleo. Go be happy and naughty and all the things and we’ll see you at dinner…maybe.”
“This school needs room service,” I grumbled, stepping away from my sisters and toward my mates. “Can we get meal delivery in our room?”
“Well, no, but they do deliver to the door and if you give one of us a text, we’ll have a mate run down and leave it outside the door of whatever room you end up in, okay?”
“Having sisters rocks. Especially sisters who also have mates and who I’m probably going to need a lot of advice from.”
“Here.” Minx pulled a small jar out of her pocket and placed it in my palm. “Helps with soreness from too much fun.”
Now my cheeks flamed, and they laughed as I headed over to the elevator that no longer scared me because it was taking me down to Pax’s room where my mates waited for me. I had a feeling this little jar was going to come in handy with three lusty, loving mates.
As the doors slid open, I stepped in, turned to face forward, and cast one last glance at the sky, thanking Fate and the goddess and any other beings who might have stepped in to change everything in my world. When the doors opened again, my mates were waiting for me, and I melted into their arms, perfectly happy and loved and in love.
