Deleted Scene Topaz Torment #2

Victor didn’t seem to care that Henri’s true feelings were showing. He merely smirked from his place on the podium, his reptilian eyes far too calculating, knowing, and sly.

I didn’t dare move.

I’d been so lucky up till now.

I felt guilty for not being tormented like the other gems.

It wasn’t fair I had Henri protecting me. My very own guardian angel, all while we were surrounded by so many fallen ones.

But Master G suddenly let me go, held up his hands, and made his way to Laura.

My bones rattled as Travis—the whole reason we were playing this game—oiled his way up to Peter.

“Hello, little Pete. I see you’re packing tonight.” He clucked his tongue. “Fancy playing with me, is that it?”

Peter sucked on his bleeding lip and shrugged. “Make me come, and we’ll see.”

Travis chuckled. “What happened to your politeness? Master T this, Master T that. You’re usually so good at grovelling.”

“I’m a little on edge, Master T. But if you want me to beg? Well then.” He grinned. “Get on your knees and make me.”

My heart stopped.

Travis froze.

For a horrible second, I envisioned him killing Peter for such insolence, but then he laughed and shook his head. “I think I like you feisty.”

“Good. Choose me, then. I’m a sure thing if you want me.”

“Still trying to protect the others, huh? Figure you’ll take the game tonight so the others don’t have to?”

Peter bared his teeth. All signs of the obedient jewel I knew vanished. He looked as if he didn’t give a shit anymore. “Or I’m just so fucking sick of not getting mine that I’m willing to endure a bit of sodomy to get it.”

Grabbing Peter between the legs, Travis stepped into him. “Tell me, Pete. How many strokes would it take?”

Peter looked at me, his eyes glowing brown and fathomlessly broken. “Three...maybe four.”

I wanted to wrap him in the biggest hug.

I wanted to take him far, far away.

I loved him, yet I couldn’t help him.

My eyes flared.

That’s what he wanted me to say.

Three little words.

Words that meant entirely different things to the ones I said to Henri.

Words that meant entirely different things to Peter.

My chest grew tight.

I’d known Peter had feelings for me.

He wasn’t exactly shy at hinting them.

But...I hadn’t thought it was love.

I thought it was affection. Maybe lust.

The fact we spoke the same language and came from the same culture.

We’d bonded so fast because of that.

Peter groaned under his breath as Travis pumped him once, twice...

And then Travis stopped and moved on to me.

“Hello, pretty gem. Tell me. How much would it take to get you off?”

Swallowing hard, I tipped up my chin. “I wouldn’t even bother. I won’t come for anyone but my Master.”

“Tempting to try but...” He shot a look at Henri who stood in front of a jewel. “I’ve heard rumours of what happens when someone touches you, so...” Kissing me chastely like Branson did, he pulled away after a few seconds and moved on to Laura.

She cried out as he dropped his hand between her legs, touching her like a lover all while his arm looped around her shoulders and held her close.

Perhaps she’d come first and—

Peter gasped as yet another Master grabbed his cock.

This one I didn’t know.

He didn’t speak.

With cold eyes, he jerked Peter twice, then let him go.

His gaze shot down the line to a jewel farther away, his goal obviously not either of us. Grabbing both my breasts, he squeezed me roughly, then pushed Travis off Laura and groped her too.

“Thank you for looking after Ily while I couldn’t.”

That voice.

That energy.

My gaze shot to Henri.

He stood before Peter.

I hadn’t seen what he’d done to the other jewels, but I had no doubt it would’ve been as perfunctory as what I’d endured. Perhaps a gentle kiss, a very short grope—just enough to avoid Victor from demanding more.

Peter narrowed his eyes. “I have no power. I wasn’t able to stop them.”

“But your presence would’ve kept her mind intact.” Henri tipped his chin. “So thank you.”

“I don’t think you’d be thanking me if you knew what I asked her to say.”

Henri went stiff.

He flicked me a look. “What did you—”

“You better touch me and move on to her,” Peter huffed. “Seeing as I failed to come first, you two are gonna be the ones to take the win.” He swallowed hard. “Can’t say I’m looking forward to standing right here while you make her shatter. But...I’ll endure it.”

Henri glowered at him, questions all over his face.

But...with a quick glance at Victor carefully watching from the top of the dance floor, he leaned in and kissed Peter extremely swiftly on the cheek.

My entire world righted again as Henri stepped into me, gathered me into his fierce, furious embrace, and pressed his lips to my ear. “How do you want me? Fingers? Tongue? It has to be quick. I’m losing my fucking mind.”

“Fingers.” I breathed.

Whatever pull he had over me tugged deep, deep in my belly.

The wetness returned.

The flurry, the steam, the crackle.

Cradling me in one arm, he dropped his hand between my legs.

Pushing aside my purple G-string, he inserted two fingers, boldly, unapologetically.

My body clamped around on his touch.

I bit my bottom lip.

Not looking away from me, he pumped his wrist, slowly to start with, his thumb pressing against my clit.

Even in this awful situation, he conjured such despairing desire.

My heart pounded with his.

The nightclub and Victor’s awful game faded.

All I focused on was Henri’s eyes.

His smoky tortured eyes.

Our souls entwined like always.

Our minds synced.

My body opened.

My breathing came faster, shallower as he increased his pace. Mimicking the action of sex, he made me rock in his tight hold.

Come for me, Ily. His gaze dropped to my mouth. Come.

I flung myself into the pleasure.

This wasn’t just about us.

If I came first, the other jewels would be safe and—

“Long enough!” Victor barked, “Move it along, everyone.”

“Fucking hell,” Henri snarled.

I was close, but...not close enough.

I tried to fall.

I considered faking it.

Peter grunted beside me as another Master jerked him off.

His eyes met mine.

I fell into my friend as well as my lover.

And Henri noticed.

His touch turned violent.

A growl echoed in his chest.

And his teeth clamped into my throat, sinking hard, deep—

Peter grabbed my hand.

Henri thrust into me, Peter squeezed me, and...I shattered.

I cried out as the first ripple crashed like lightning.

Henri’s teeth punctured harder, delivering that maddening pain and slick release of blood.

I couldn’t stop it.

The intensity.

The primordial reaction of succumbing.

I came.

Hard.

Star-burstingly hard.

Peter shuddered as the Master went to let him go and shove Henri aside. He cursed in frustration. His face twisted up from being denied the only thing he needed in that moment.

I kept coming.

He didn’t.

I transcended every mortal bone and decided to give Peter what he needed.

To find a smidgen of bliss in this awful place.

To be free, just for a moment.

“I love you,” I breathed.

I barely spoke the words.

Peter’s reaction was instantaneous.

He jack-knifed in half as the Master took his hand off his cock.

It didn’t matter.

Ribbons of white pulsed from him, arching through the bright, colourful lights of the nightclub and splashing onto the polished dance floor.

We came together.

Two friends.

Two soulmates.

All while my twin flame sent me spiralling into a barbaric release.

Victor clapped his hands as I slowly dropped from the stars and slammed back into my body.

“It seems we have two winners, gentlemen.” Striding toward us, he patted Henri on the shoulder as he removed his fingers, slick with my climax. “Your winners are, Henri Mercer and a fairly recent acquaintance, Wilson Optin. Congratulations, gentlemen. Go claim your spoils.”

Striding off, the music switched on again, far too loud and pounding in my skull.

The jewels were grabbed by different Masters, and the night unspooled with fresh debauchery.

Without a word, Henri snagged my cuffed wrist and tugged me through the crowd.

I looked back at Peter.

He gave me a single wave as Wilson dragged him the other way.

Sickness rushed up my throat.

I’d tried to give him something good.

Instead, I’d delivered him into something awful.

Again.

He’d be hurt because of me.

And no pleasure was worth that.

I hung my head in grief as Henri squirrelled me away.
