Chapter Fifteen #2

The contrast hit like fuel to flame. Rangi’s heat. Alexios’s control.

Keanu caught between them—and choosing it. All of it.

“Tell me this is real,” Keanu muttered against Rangi’s mouth, breath rough.

Rangi huffed a quiet laugh. “You think you’re imagining this?”

Alexios’s gaze held his. “It is real, and it is intentional.”

That was it. That was all Keanu needed.

He pulled them both back in. Harder. Closer. This time there was no hesitation.

Clothes became obstacles—dragged off, pushed aside, discarded somewhere behind them without thought. Heat built fast, skin against skin, every touch amplified by everything they’d held back.

Rangi pressed him back into the mattress, body solid over his, hands firm, grounding, holding him exactly where he wanted him.

“Stay with me,” Rangi muttered.

Keanu huffed a breath. “Not going anywhere.”

“Good.”

Alexios’s hands were different. His touch moved over Keanu’s torso with deliberate intent, not rushed, not uncertain—like he was committing every reaction to memory.

Because he was. Keanu’s head tipped back, breath catching as sensation layered—heat, pressure, the slow drag of control tightening around him.

“California King was a good call,” Rangi muttered.

“Shut up,” Keanu shot back—then groaned as Rangi shifted.

“Yeah,” Rangi said against his throat. “Will do.”

Alexios’s hand tightened slightly at Keanu’s hip, steadying, grounding as he leaned in closer.

“Focus,” he said quietly.

Keanu laughed under his breath. “Bit late for that.”

“Not for me.”

That tone—

That edge—

That control—

It sent a sharp pulse of heat straight through him.

Rangi felt it. Of course he did.

“Yeah,” he muttered. “I felt that.”

Keanu dragged him down into another kiss, deeper this time, less fight and more need.

Because that was what this was now.

“Move,” Keanu muttered.

Rangi huffed a breath against his throat. “Bossy.”

“Do it.”

That was all it took.

Rangi shifted immediately, dragging Keanu with him, rolling them just enough to change the angle—hands firm, grounding, keeping contact as he repositioned.

“Up,” Rangi said.

Keanu pushed himself up without argument, breath still uneven, body already reacting as Rangi guided him into place.

Alexios moved then. Not watching. Not waiting. But being an active participant in all things pleasurable.

He stepped in close, one hand sliding up Keanu’s spine, steadying him as the other caught Rangi’s jaw, pulling him into a sharp, deliberate kiss that stole the next breath out of him.

Rangi groaned into it.

“Yeah,” he muttered when Alexios pulled back. “That’s more like it.”

Alexios shifted behind Keanu, hands firm on his hips now, controlling the movement, setting the pace—not passive, not secondary—central.

Engaged.

Keanu sucked in a breath as Alexios pressed closer, the contact deliberate, undeniable.

“From now, it will be the three of us,” Alexios said quietly.

“Agreed,” Keanu managed.

Rangi watched them for half a second—really watched—and something darker slid into his expression.

“Where one of us goes, we all go,” he muttered.

Alexios’s mouth curved slightly. “We might need to buy an SUV.”

Rangi huffed a laugh—then moved.

This time, it wasn’t just instinct. It was coordination.

Rangi set the rhythm—rough, grounded, driving upward with controlled force.

Alexios adjusted it—hands tightening at Keanu’s hips, guiding, matching, ensuring every movement aligned instead of colliding.

Keanu was caught between them—but not passive.

His hands slid over Rangi’s body, gripping, pulling him down, then back—controlling the depth, the pressure, feeding it back into both of them.

Alexios reacted immediately. A sharp inhale. Control slipping just enough to show.

Rangi caught it.

“Yeah,” he said, voice rough. “You feel that?”

Alexios didn’t deny it. “Continue,” he said.

That tone—command wrapped in restraint—sent a fresh surge of heat through all three of them.

Rangi grinned. “Thought you’d say that.”

Keanu shifted again, deliberately this time, changing the angle just enough to drag a reaction out of both of them—Alexios’s grip tightened.

Rangi’s head dropped back. “Fuck—”

“Stay with it,” Alexios said, but his voice wasn’t as steady now.

Rangi leaned down, catching Keanu’s mouth again, messy, heated, while his hand slid between them, wrapping around Keanu and pulling him into the same rhythm they’d built.

All three of them. Connected. No one left out.

The pace built—not chaotic. Not losing control—but riding right at the edge of it.

“Together,” Alexios said again, lower now, the control there but stretched thin.

Keanu nodded, breath breaking. “Yeah—”

Rangi’s grip tightened. “Don’t stop.”

They didn’t. The rhythm locked.

Aligned.

And then—it broke. All at once.

Rangi’s head dropped forward with a rough groan, body tensing hard. Alexios’s breath hitched sharply behind Keanu, grip tightening as control finally snapped just enough to let it through.

Keanu followed a second later, the release pulling through all three of them, the connection holding even as everything else fractured.

For a second—no one moved.

Then Rangi let out a slow, wrecked laugh.

“Yeah,” he muttered. “That works.”

Keanu exhaled slowly, his hand still resting where it had settled—anchored between them, steady, certain.

Rangi shifted first, just enough to catch his eye, something quieter in his expression now beneath the usual edge.

“Feels like it hit all at once,” he said, voice rough but sure. “No lead-in. No easing into it.”

Alexios’s gaze flicked between them, measured, precise—even now.

“Because it did,” he said. “There was no gradual escalation. Just alignment.”

Keanu huffed a quiet breath, something almost like a laugh slipping through it.

“Cold ignition,” he said.

Rangi’s brow lifted slightly. “That what we’re calling it?”

Keanu nodded once, looking between them—really looking this time.

“No build. No warning,” he said. “Just the moment everything aligned—pressure, heat, and choice—until it caught...”

Alexios’s voice came in, low and certain, finishing it without hesitation. “...and became something none of us can walk away from.”

Rangi’s hand tightened briefly where it rested against Keanu, grounding, claiming.

“Good,” he said.

Keanu met his gaze, then Alexios’s.

“Yeah,” he said quietly. “Good.”

Alexios inclined his head once. “Then we don’t.”

Rangi’s mouth curved, slow and dangerous. “Not going anywhere.”

Keanu exhaled, the weight of it settling into something solid beneath his ribs.

“Yeah,” he said. “Not going anywhere.”
