8. Chapter 8

Kaitlyn

My eyes pop open just seconds, before an orgasm crashes over me. I don't get a chance to even say a word, before I'm screaming Gray's name.

"Good morning, Starshine." He says, licking his lips.

"Fuck, what a way to wake up," I say, as he climbs up my body.

"I couldn't resist. When the sheet slipped, you moaned my name in your sleep, and I wanted to taste you again." He says, giving me shivers, as he kisses his way up to my neck.

"I won't ever complain about being woken up by an orgasm."

"Noted." He says, laying down behind me and running his hands up my side and back down to my leg, before pulling my leg over his hips and slowly sliding into me. We both moan with pleasure.

He knows just where to touch me and how to tease me, before we both go sliding into our orgasms.

We lay in bed a few more minutes, enjoying being in each other’s arms, before getting ready for the wedding. Even though I’ll finish getting dressed at the church, I take a shower and wash my hair.

Gray steps into the shower behind me, and I lean back against him, just enjoying feeling him behind me. Without a word, he turns me and starts washing my hair. His fingers running through my hair relaxes away the last of the nerves and stress left over from the last week.

As we get out of the shower and dry off, he just watches me. His face softens, before he finally says, "I really like having you here."

"I like being here," I admit.

Our eyes stay locked for a moment, saying all the things we don't dare say out loud.

This is more than a vacation fling, and we both know it, but I don't think either of us has any idea how to make it work.

But we don't want to voice that either, because the moment we do, we pop this perfect bubble we’re in.

I don't do my makeup, but I take the time to dry my hair and put a little curl in it. Gray just watches my every move, while he drinks his coffee and checks his emails.

"Okay, let's get you to the church," he says.

"You know, you don't have to go with me," I say, because the bridal party is getting there hours, before the guests.

"I talked with Alex, and he's going to let me hang out with them and do some work." He holds up his laptop case.

I grab my dress, and my bag with all the stuff Dana needs, plus, makeup and hair stuff.

Gray comes up and takes the bag from me, and then helps me out to his truck.

The whole way to the church, he holds my hand and lets me go over everything that has to get done, before Dana can walk down the aisle.

When we get to the church, he walks me to the bridal suite, and then leans down to give me a kiss.

"I can't wait to see you in your bridesmaid dress." Then, he whispers in my ear, "And I can't wait to see you out of it later tonight."

That makes me smile, and I pull him in for another kiss.

"Save all your dances for me, Starshine."

"There’s no one else I want to dance with."

With that, I turn and walk into the bridal suite to find I'm one of the last ones there, and the only sober one, even though it's only eleven a.m.

The next few hours are full of hair, makeup, laughing, champagne, and texts from Gray. He makes sure I eat, and he also makes sure I take it slow on the champagne, and the longer we are apart, the dirtier the texts get.

I'm debating sneaking out for a quickie, before the wedding, when Dana's mom announces it's time for us to get dressed, and in no time at all, everyone is lining up.

"Wait, Kaitlyn! I need just a minute." Dana says, and when it's just the two of us, she hugs me.

"I want you to have this; to be this happy.

If anyone deserves it, it's you. I know what's going through your mind with Grayson here and you in Georgia, but that’s just geography.

Do not write him off, because of it. He's one of the good ones, and he's been carrying a torch for you for so long," she says.

"No tears." I hug her harder.

In the back of my head, I knew all this time that he had feelings for me, but hearing Dana voice it out loud, is enough for me to really grasp it. If I'm truly being honest, I’ve been holding out for him, too.

We go out and get in line. I'm walking down the aisle with Alex's younger brother, who is still in college, and one of those textbook frat boy flirts.

"Hey, don't you look hot." He says, as I stand beside him.

"I already said no, Josh. I'm seeing someone."

"Is he here?"

"Yes."

"Damn. At least, I get one dance with you." He smacks his lips.

"If he doesn't kick your ass first," I say, making Dana laugh.

"Yeah, Josh, her guy is ex-military, and just one arm is about as big as you, so be careful," Dana says, earning a dirty look from Josh.

We’re next, so I place my arm in Josh's and take a deep breath. When the door opens, I feel like I'm in a winter wonderland with lots of twinkle lights and red poinsettias. Yet, when my eyes land on Gray in his suit, and he looks back at me, I don't see anything else, as I walk down the aisle.

I wish it was him on my arm, and as I pass him, he winks at me, like he knows what I'm thinking.

Though, I doubt he knows I'm picturing him in that suit at the end of the aisle.

Grayson

Watching Kaitlyn walk down the aisle, makes me wish she was walking down it to me. And suddenly, it's all I can think about. I hate the young guy on her arm, but knowing it's Alex's little brother, keeps me in check.

During the entire ceremony, I don't see the bride and groom.

I just see my beautiful girl up there, and her eyes on mine.

I want this for us, and I don't want to have to say goodbye to her in just a few days. I want her by my side, but my life, my company, and my parents’ home are here in Kentucky, and her life and Oakside are in Georgia.

I want to enjoy her today, so I push those thoughts from my head and commit the image of her in that deep red bridesmaid dress to memory. How it hugs every curve and makes her boobs look luscious.

Once the ceremony is over, I can't get to her fast enough. As they take all the photos, I'm there watching to make sure Josh's hands stay where they belong.

"Hey, Grayson. Come here!" Dana yells.

I head over, as Dana talks to the photographer.

"I want a photo of you and Kaitlyn." She says, and I don't hesitate to move behind my girl and take a photo.

For sure, I’ll get a copy for myself to remember this day by, to remember this dress, and to remember, when she was mine.

The thought that all this has an end date is starting to drive me a bit crazy.

Once the photos are over, I lean in and whisper in Kaitlyn's ear.

"Go to the bathroom and take off your panties. Then, come back and slip them into my pocket."

When she looks at me, the raw desire shows in those mesmerizing eyes of hers. She loves me taking control and being a bit naughty with me. She nods her head, turns, and walks off towards the bathroom.

Going to the bar, I get us both a drink and turn to face the crowd, watching for her. It takes longer than I expected for her to return, but she’s done as I asked and slips her panties into my coat pocket. Then, I hand her a drink.

"Sorry, Dana needed help using the bathroom. Too much dress," she says.

I can't get mad at her for that. It's part of the maid of honors duties after all.

"Ready to head in?" I nod towards the reception hall and hold out my hand.

She takes it without hesitation, and we enter into what looks like an adult version of the North Pole. Everything is white and silver with touches of red. They’ve decorated to make it look like snow is everywhere, and the twinkle lights match the decor in the church.

This really was the perfect day for them to get married, and it suits them. When would Kaitlyn want to get married? A Christmas wedding doesn't seem like her, and suddenly, I have to know.

"How do you picture your wedding?" I ask her, as we take our seats.

"When we were kids, Dana and I always talked about a double wedding and getting married together.

After I got to Georgia, I thought maybe on the beach with the Tybee Island lighthouse in the background.

Then, a few months ago, Easton and Paisley got married on the grounds at Oakside.

All patients could attend, and they had guests make a donation to Oakside, instead of giving gifts.

The grounds are beautiful, so I think that's what I'd like, if I'm still working there, when I get married.

" She shrugs, like it’s no big deal, but I can tell by the hitch in her voice that it is.

Everything leads back to Georgia. Her dream job is there, her friends are there, her life is there, the place she wants to get married is there, and I'm here.

The festivities start, and then we all sit down to eat. Once we finish eating, the band starts up, and I know I want to have Kaitlyn as close to me as I can.

Standing up, I button my coat and hold my hand out to her. "Dance with me?"

Smiling, she takes my hand and follows me to the dance floor. I pull her so close to me that there’s no space between us, and we move to the music. I don't know how many songs we dance too, but after a while, her feet start to hurt, and she looks tired.

"Want to get out of here? I have devilish plans for you, when we get home," I whisper in her ear.

She looks around, and then nods that she’s ready to go.

The whole drive home I can't keep my hand off her, and she can't stop leaning over and kissing my neck, while running her hand over my chest. Thankfully, the church is in town, so it doesn't take long to get back to my place, because she’s driving me crazy, and I'm wishing I had thought to hire a driver for the night.

As soon as I put the truck in park, she leans over and takes my earlobe in-between her teeth, nipping at it.

"What if I told you that I want you to take me right here in the car?" She whispers, before her lips glide down my neck in little kisses.

"I'd ask front seat or back seat?"

"Front seat," she says.

Thank God for bench seats. Quickly, I remove her seatbelt and have her in my lap, straddling and facing me.

She wastes no time removing my belt and pulling my cock out of my pants. With her panties gone, still in my pocket, it's easy to put a condom on and slide into her.

I need this just as much as she does. To reconnect and to remind us we are perfect together. To remind me she is mine.
