Chapter Seventeen
JAMESON
I moved to her neck kissing, and sucking on her tanned skin, then his mouths greeted mine. The kissing has so much passion and heat to it, the need was desperate. The thought of losing her caused me to swallow a hard lump, but I refused to focus on that right now.
While still kissing, I slowly moved one hand down the side of her body, then to her lower stomach, and then I pulled my lips from hers. Smirking, I kissed my way down, all the way to her feet, planting kisses, I raised one leg up to my chest, she was fully exposed to me, and her eyes never left mine.
I kissed my way back up her legs, her inner thighs, we were ready to surrender to each other with everything we had.
I leaned back down, my tongue meeting her pussy.
“Already wet for me,” I said. Inserting one finger, then two, while I licked and sucked.
“Jameson,” she called out breathlessly.
“What do you want, Brielle?” I whispered huskily.
“I need you.”
Just then, her body was bucking against my tongue. “Fuck.”
I licked and sucked her pussy while the orgasm coursed through her. She was trying to get me to come up to her, and I did, kissing her lips.
She opened her legs wide for me, trying to wrap them around my waist. I reached down to center my cock and thrust inside of her.
“Yes!” She called out.
After a couple of thrusts, I was close to the brink as well. Then I pulled out completely and stood at the side of the bed.
“Get on all fours, princess.”
She crawled to the side, got on all fours, and stuck her ass out for me. My fingers gripped her hips and thrusted inside of her again. Then I went harder, and faster, pumping in and out of her.
“Fuck!” I growled as my orgasm released. “Fuck!”
Getting my breath, I watched as Brielle stood on her knees to face me, and leaned up to kiss me again.
“We aren’t done yet,” I said with a sly smirk.

At work, I couldn’t focus, all I could think about was Brielle, and I hated how this day had finally come. But no more work that needed to be done. She knew I was ready to take over Titan Enterprises, and I knew I was ready.
Right now, she was at my condo packing her things. She told me she would stop by before going to her office, but a deep sensation was burning in my heart, and I couldn’t wait for her to stop by. I knew I said there was no going back after we had sex the first time, we enjoyed each other’s company and never spoke about how this thing between us would go. All I knew was we couldn’t end like this, not without me saying my peace and seeing how she really felt.
Without another thought, I raced out of work and ran home, hoping she would still be there. The need to see her was overwhelming. I didn’t know where we stood, and I was not ready to let her go.
By the time I got inside my apartment, silence filled the air, and I immediately knew she was gone. I couldn’t understand why she was so quick to leave and not say anything, even when we spent last night together in bed.
I had no idea where her actual office was, or where she lived in between clients.
Still walking around to be sure she was gone, I pulled my phone out of my pocket and called her. There was no answer. Was she avoiding me?
Could she be at the one place where I found her once before at Brews Bats? When I arrived, I left my car running and asked the bartender, “Have you seen a dark brunette come in here lately?”
He shook his head.
“Thanks.” Fuck! I got back in my car and tried to think of what to do next. I looked up her work’s website and called the number.
“Thank you for calling Slice and Dire PR, how can I direct your call?”
“Can I speak to Brielle Delaney?”
“She not in the office right now, should I leave a message?”
“How about Kali?”
“May I let her know who’s calling?”
“Jameson Titan.”
“One moment, Mr. Titan.”
“Mr. Titan, what can I do for you?”
“I’m sorry for calling, but I need to see Brielle. Do you know where she’s at?”
“She’s at the airport …”
I interrupted her. “Which one?”
“LaGuardia. She has a flight in an hour. What airline?”
“American Airlines. Thank you.” I pressed end on the phone, rushed to my car, and weaved in and out of traffic trying to make it to LaGuardia Airport, which in normal traffic takes about thirty minutes to get there. If I’ll even be able to find her.
Finally, there in twenty minutes, I park and rush inside, looking in all directions for her. Why didn’t I ask Kali where Brielle was headed? Looking at the board, I find American Airlines in Section B. I looked all around, spinning in all directions to no avail.
I was trying to catch my breath while I called Slice and Dice back.
“Kali, please,” I said as soon as the receptionist answered.
“This is Kali.”
“Kali, it’s Jameson again. Where is Brielle headed?”
“Lake Tahoe why?”
Hearing those words was like a punch to my gut. Why the hell was she going there?”
“I just want to surprise her so don’t tell her.”
“Okay.”
I pressed end on the phone and called to get my pilot to get the plane ready. All kinds of thoughts were racing through my mind. I couldn’t figure out why she would be going there unless she was seeing Chris. Is this why she has been acting distant because she has feelings for him? He couldn’t care less about a one-night stand, but then again, he was attracted to her enough to have sex with her and flirted with her right in front of my face. Chris didn’t care who he used up, and when he was done, he’d throw them away like trash.
At the airport where my plane was stored, I called my mom.
“Hi, Jameson.”
“Mom. I need to go out of town for…”
“Brielle?”
“How’d you know?”
“I saw how quickly you left and figured it had to do with her.”
“I don’t want you thinking I don’t care about the business.”
“Son, go get the girl.” It was weird I could hear her smile through the phone.
“Thanks, mom.”
“Titan Enterprises will still be here when you get back.”
“Okay. See you when I get back.”
Was my mom actually coming around to care about me?
Half an hour passed when the pilot approached me. “The plane is ready, sir.”
“Thank you. Head to Lake Tahoe.”
“Sure thing.”
I boarded the plane and realized I didn’t have a bag packed or anything. All I cared about was seeing Brielle’s face when I found her. She had a lot of explaining to do. Or maybe she made her mind up, and I would have to accept that.
Once the plane was in the sky, I tried calling Brielle again, but she wasn’t answering, and it made me panic even more. This was going to be the longest flight of my life.

“We’re here, sir.”
“Thank you.”
I exited the plane and walked through the airport, where I could rent a car for the rest of the ride. I had another forty-minute drive before I could even make it to Lake Tahoe. But as I walked through the airport, there she was, and it was like everything around me was moving in slow motion. Her hair swayed around her, and her cheeks were flush, I remembered she was nervous flying.
She smiled wide when a man approached her, and they hugged. Chris. Why the hell was he talking to her? Was he here to pick her up?
I marched up to them, and without a thought, I punched him square in the jaw.
“Jameson?” Brielle questioned.
“What the fuck, man?” Chris held his jaw.
Anger fueled through me and I couldn’t think straight.
“What are you doing here?” Brielle asked.
“Looking for you, but it looks like you two have plans of your own.” I stepped back because I wanted to throw another punch.
“Fuck, man. We just now saw each other. She’s coming to Lake Tahoe, and I’m headed out on a business trip,” Chris told me. “I was offering her my place while I was out of town.”
“What? What the fuck, Brielle?” My God, Brielle, how could you?” My face flinched in anger.
“It’s not like that, Jameson.”
“Then tell me what it’s like?” I had to laugh otherwise I would punch something. “Tell me!”
Chris threw his hands up in frustration. “I’m not even going to justify myself. It’s ridiculous that you would think that low of me. Especially after we’ve been friends for years.”
He didn’t wait for a response from me. He said, “I’m out. Brielle.”
