Chapter 7
Chapter Seven
Quinn
We rode out to the other side of the creek.
It was more overgrown than the last time we’d been out here, but it evoked the same feelings.
Maybe more since we were together at last. We’d tied Glimmer’s lead to a tree, not that she would wander off along with Cedar.
I strung together clovers and buttercups as we laid out on a picnic blanket.
“You’re awfully quiet, babygirl.”
“This is so peaceful. Just sitting out under the evening sun. Doing absolutely nothing and spending time with you.”
“Awfully sentimental, hm? I love it.” He touched one of the clovers. “Is this a necklace or a crown?”
“A crown.” I set it on top of his head, fixing it. It didn’t fit at all. Giggling, I tried to straighten it but his head was not meant for flower chains.
“Silly girl,” Callum chided but his eyes sparkled in delight. He reached up and plucked the crown off. He placed it on my head instead. “There. Now you’re my flower princess.”
“Flower Princess Quinn sounds like she sits around in stuffy rooms and drinks tea, Daddy.” I stood up, dancing over to the log we used to sit on and watch for shooting stars.
“Never. She’d rather ride around on horses and be sassy.” He joined me, wrapping his arms around my waist.
“You know what we never did out here?” I glanced up into his face.
“I’m sure there are many things. What’s on your mind?”
So many choices. So many temptations. I ran my hand upward, my fingers teasing the crotch of his jeans. He tensed when I reached his belt buckle. “Hm? What could possibly be on my mind, Sir?”
“Careful, naughty girl.”
Instead of heeding his warning, I turned around and unbuckled his belt. Pulling it free from the loops, I loved the sound of the leather whipping through the air. He tilted his head to the side, watching me. Callum slid the belt out of my hands, using it to secure them behind my back.
“Daddy! I can’t do anything if my hands are bound.”
“Don’t worry, you won’t need them.”
Facing me away from him, he bent me over the log. It pressed against my stomach, a solid presence while Callum unbuttoned my jeans and tugged them down to my thighs. The flower crown slipped off my head and into the creek. I was surprised it had stayed on as long as it did.
“My crown!” I watched it drift down the creek, clovers and buttercups meandering along as it went on its way.
“I’ll make you another one.”
“But you don’t know how,” I whined.
“Then you can teach me. We’ll have plenty of afternoons just like this one. Now, hush. You aren’t in charge here, spitfire.”
My panties joined my jeans while I wiggled against the rough wood. “There might be bugs. They’ll crawl all over me and bite me.”
“You didn’t care about bugs while you were teasing Daddy.”
Well, he had a point. But I hadn’t undressed him in the wilderness. Standing by the creek and being on a log were very different. The first smacks caught me off guard. I yelped. “What are you doing? I wasn’t bad. I didn’t even break any rules.”
“No, you weren’t bad. Remember even if you act up it’s your behavior that is naughty. Never bad.”
“I remember, Sir.”
“I wish you could see how pretty your ass looks wearing my handprints. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of seeing this view.”
“Daddy!”
“Yell as loud as you want, Quinn. Glimmer doesn’t have the means to save your bottom. Besides, this isn’t a punishment. I’m spanking you because I definitely thought about doing this very thing by the creek.”
“Still not what I meant when I said there were things we never did here.” I sulked but I wasn’t mad.
No, I was aroused and quickly getting wetter.
He landed the next two sets on my upper thighs.
He allowed enough time between each one for the burn to spread into a growing warmth on my skin.
Callum rubbed both sides of my ass while I groaned.
“Better?”
“Define better,” I snapped. My arousal peaked and I wanted him inside of me, regardless of where we were.
“Easy there, spitfire. Use your words.” He struck the fullest part of my ass several times in a row without the benefit of a pause.
I groaned but couldn’t move out of place.
Over and over again his palm met my bottom.
My upper thighs. My sit-spots. But it wasn’t like the typical correction.
No. He kept the pace so that I was on edge.
Nearly bringing me to an orgasm just from his attention there.
“Can you have a climax just from spanking?”
“Is that a challenge? I’m game if you are, Quinn.” Callum moved his hand underneath me, stroking my pussy lips.
Twitching from the unexpected stimulation, I pressed myself into his palm and moaned. “You’re cheating.”
“Nah, this would be cheating.”
He yanked my hips upward, his mouth finding my sweet spot from behind.
I don’t know how he managed, but he did. My legs trembled from the exertion as I came. I don’t think I’d ever hit a peak that fast in my life. “No fair, oh fuck, no fair.”
“What was that, sweetheart?”
“Not fair at all,” I said, panting, worn out and swimming in post-orgasmic bliss. His tongue was magical. “I need you, Daddy. Please?”
“You have me. You don’t need to beg. Not unless I tell you to.” Callum adjusted my body as he spoke. “I know you can use your beautiful brain to explain what you need. Whatever you want, I’ll give it to you.”
“I want you to fuck me over this log.” There. Now he couldn’t say that I didn’t say my desires out loud.
“Is that what you were thinking about when we rode out here? Hm? Riding Daddy?”
My face burned from the embarrassment. Yet he was correct. It wasn’t the only thought but it was one of them. “I doubt I could get into a position where that will work.”
“Another challenge.”
“You are so misunderstanding me.”
Callum adjusted me against the log and spanked me harder than before.
“Am I?”
“You think this is funny, Daddy.”
“Oh, babygirl. You have no idea. You toss me a challenge, I’m going to respond,” he said, delivering several hard slaps. “You should at least know that by now.”
I whimpered. “My butt is toasty. You don’t need to keep going.”
“Now you’re telling Daddy what to do? So bold.”
But I could tell from his tone that he was amused.
Tossing sass at him wouldn’t deter him. I was pretty sure nothing would.
Targeting my sit-spots would have hurt if it was a punishment, instead my arousal that hadn’t really faded roared through me like he’d lit a match.
Was there anything this man could do that wouldn’t turn me on?
Probably but I didn’t have to think about it anymore because I came again. “Oh! Oh, oh my god.”
“Well I guess you proved yourself right. You can come from just spanking.”
“We can try to have sex. Okay?” I said gulping air. My entire body relaxed, as if the pleasure rolling through me finally released the last bit of tension.
“Two good orgasms and one red bottom and suddenly you’re soft and compliant,” he announced like he’d figured out the ratio.
“We will agree to disagree on your methods. Otherwise you’ll do this every time.” Callum freed my hands, rotating my wrists to bring the circulation back.
“Disagree? You’re hysterical, baby. Pretending you aren’t half dressed and dripping down your thighs from multiple orgasms.”
I turned around carefully, sitting down gingerly and looking at him. “Okay, you’re right as usual. Ouch. I take that back. My ass doesn’t think you’re right.”
“Aren’t you cute? I didn’t anticipate having sex out here. No condoms.”
“I’m not on anything, I haven’t needed to be,” I admitted casually though it felt much bigger.
“I told you I’m not going anywhere, Quinn,” he said, pulling me to stand then immediately bending me over the log again.
My hands found purchase on the rough wood and Callum unzipped his jeans as if his statement was about our dinner plans rather than our life. And yet it wasn’t scary to think about more with him. Not when we’d already been through so much the past few weeks.
“Do you think we’re traumatizing the horses?”
“I promise you, babygirl, our horses are the last thing on my mind right now.”
I opened my mouth to say something equally funny, but he slid himself into me without preamble and I lost the ability to think.
We had sex often, at least often for me, but the way he stroked my nerves never failed to bring me pleasure.
He increased the speed of his hips and it was enough to force the log forward.
“Daddy, the log!”
“I’ve got you, Quinn.”
Callum, without missing a beat, wrapped my legs around his waist. It placed me at a very unusual angle, my fingers barely grazing the log as I tried to hold on.
His cock went deeper, hitting places I didn’t think he’d ever reached before.
Suddenly I was overcome. Every nerve screamed in pleasure as he thrust. Clenching around him, I hit a powerful peak.
He followed with his own release, coming inside me.
I hadn’t anticipated what it would feel like.
Somehow I felt even more connected to him as if that was possible.
Like any last string of uncertainty unraveled as he claimed me.
I was his girl. Utterly and completely his.
“You screaming for me is my new favorite sound.”
“You’re really strong. I’m so impressed. The entire log moved!”
“The alternative was watching you go into the creek, sweetheart. I think Glimmer would take offense to that,” he said breathlessly.
Callum slowly withdrew from my pussy, fixing my clothes and then his own. I hugged him tightly. “Next time we stay on the ground. No more acrobatics.”
“It was quite impressive. Oh, baby. Your poor hands are scraped up.” He turned over each of my palms, kissing each one as if apologizing for the wounds.
“Worth it. So very worth it. I promise.”
We laid out on the blanket as the sun dipped lower in the sky. I listened to the steady sound of his heart beating underneath my head as I cuddled into his chest. Callum soothed me without even saying a word. I could stay here forever lying on him while he played with my hair.
I stared up through the tree canopy as the sky turned golden around the edges.
I thought about the plot he’d bought for me next to Nana and Tuts.
The deeper meaning in a simple gesture. Callum ensured I was taken care of even if he wasn’t here.
I didn’t want to think about the possibility of losing him first but he kept reassuring me that he was staying. Forever.
“Time to head back, babygirl.”
“I know. We should do this again soon. Can we?”
“We will. Things have settled, we’ll have more time to do nothing together. Whenever you want.”
Callum stood first and helped me to my feet. We rolled up the blanket and walked to the horses. We untied Glimmer first and he gave me a boost. I settled into the saddle and ran my hands through her mane.
“Is your sweet mare offended?” He kept hold of Cedar’s reins while untying him. We didn’t need a repeat of the other day.
“No, she’s quite content. So am I.”
“I hope so. You’re glowing,” he said, mounting Cedar.
“All your fault.”
“I’ll gladly take the blame.”
He led us to the path home. The air felt warmer even with the sun setting. A huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders and I hadn’t noticed. I’d been too busy enjoying the moments afterward, something else I wasn’t used to.
The ride home through the meadows, our meadows, I reminded myself, was unhurried.
Cedar matched Glimmer’s pace, the two of them simply moving together as if they’d been doing it their whole lives.
And I guess they had. Above us the sky settled into a shade of pink that Nana used to lovingly call Tuts’ favorite color.
I was fairly certain he never commented on any colors, yet alone a pink hue, but she said it anyway.
Glancing at Callum, I bit my lip. He rode easy, one hand on the reins and the other planted on his thigh. The fading light brought color to his face adding to his gorgeous features rather than detracting from them.
“You’re staring at me, beautiful girl. See something you like?”
“I love you, Daddy.”
He glanced over at me, a cocky smirk playing on his lips. “Do you only love me because your bottom is feeling every step Glimmer is taking?”
Yes, I felt the lingering sting from his spanking. While he wasn’t wrong, it was bigger than that. “No, Daddy. It’s because my heart is feeling it.”
Callum’s smirk softened into a smile that lit up his whole face.
“Babygirl, that’s the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me.
I love you, Quinn. I’ll love you until I take my last breath on this earth, but that’s not going to be for a long time.
Now that you’re mine, I’m not going to let you go. ”
“I can handle that.” My eyes must have given me away because he tsked.
“What are you planning?”
Giggling, I squeezed my thighs together urging Glimmer to gallop. “Race you home! Yah!”
“Naughty brat! Daddy’s going to win.”
Tossing a glance over my shoulder, I saw Cedar galloping behind us. “What’s that? You’ll what? I can’t hear you!”
“Laugh it up, little girl. You won’t be laughing when I get through with you,” he yelled across the meadow, his voice thick with amusement.
“Eat my dust, Versace!”
“You’re gonna get it, spitfire!”
Glimmer wasn’t a racehorse, and I wouldn’t push her to stay at our current pace. Callum knew I’d slow down after I had my fun. Slowing my sweet Appaloosa to a trot, I waited for Callum and Cedar to reach us.
The sun set low in the horizon and a sprinkling of stars lit up like they’d been hung just for me. “Took you long enough,” I said when he was in earshot. “I guess you won fair and square, Daddy. You caught us.”
Glimmer snorted as if giving her two cents on the situation. She’d done all the work.
“You’re giving in so easily, babygirl? I guess you’re finally realizing that you can’t beat me, hm?”
“Something like that…”
“Wait until I get you home.”
His promise-slash-threat had me smiling again. I had been furious, drowning in grief in the lawyer’s office less than a month ago. But Callum shifted things in our favor. He’d been thinking and planning ahead for our futures even when I hadn’t given him any grace.
Though I’d been afraid of trusting Callum so fast after so many years apart, he’d quickly become everything I didn’t know I needed. Someone who wouldn’t let me fall, not if he could prevent it. He was my safe space.
Watching him as he settled into an easy stride at my side, my heart beamed.
Callum had become the man of my dreams who loved me unconditionally, the one whom I’d been writing about in my diary. The one who wouldn’t ever abandon me. My cowboy Daddy.
The End
