Chapter 16

Check fucks like a rock star off the list.

The thought absently floated through Windsor’s mind as she lay motionless in the middle of the giant bed. Rather than smash her with his bulk, Bo had rolled over and was lying beside her.

Windsor couldn’t move. Had no interest in ever moving again. It just didn’t feel necessary or in the cards for her.

Her heart was still pounding as the sweat cooled on her skin. Wow. She wasn’t sure she’d used that word quite so much in a single day in her life. Good sign.

She tilted her head to the side. His pecs and abs were rising and falling with deep breaths. He was still thick and full, and … now that she knew what he could do with that beautiful thing, she wanted to slow clap. She was happy for him. And herself. Like … wow.

She let out a long breath.

He looked over. “You okay?”

“May never move again. May live the rest of my life in this bed.”

“Cool. Like that.” He gave her a nod.

Windsor started laughing deep, throaty belly laughs. “Seriously though. My God. Wow.” She let out another long breath.

“Good wow?”

“Of course. Like you ever get any complaints.”

He gave her a thumbs-up. “Good.”

“You okay?” she asked with another giggle. She couldn’t remember ever laughing or feeling this amazed or happy in bed with a man, especially right after sex. Normally, she was bolting for the shower immediately.

“Never better,” he said, chest still rising and falling. “Told you it would be good cardio.”

She burst out laughing again. “My new favorite kind. Good God, Bo. I don’t even want to know how you learned all those skills, do I?”

He reached down and threaded his fingers through hers and squeezed. “All just practice, getting ready for you, sweetheart.”

She bit her lip as she grinned and shook her head. She loved holding his hand, especially after what they’d just done.

“Smooth.”

“It’s the truth.”

“Yeah. Sure. But I’ll buy it anyway.”

“If you’re never leaving this bed, then it was all worth it, and that is gospel truth.”

“It’s never been more tempting, believe me.” She paused. “Do you think they heard me in Wyoming?”

This time, he laughed with his whole body, and she loved the sound.

I’m in trouble here. But she felt too good to care.

“Probably not.” He paused. “But definitely in Idaho.”

They both burst out laughing until she was near tears, and Windsor couldn’t remember when she’d ever had this much fun with anyone.
