Chapter 29

When they were back at Windsor’s place, she stood next to him beside her pool.

“I wanted you that night. I planned to have you too.”

She didn’t have to explain which night. Bo remembered standing right next to this very pool, wondering how in the world he was going to lock this gorgeous woman down.

“I never thought I’d have to wait all these years for you,” she said.

“As they say, good things come to those who wait.”

She leaned against him, and Bo’s arm wrapped around her automatically.

“Thank you for not making me wait for the wedding.”

“If I’d known you’d marry me that fast, I’d have planned it myself.”

“I still can’t believe it was that easy.”

“You ever think that’s how life’s supposed to be when you’re going in the right direction?”

“I’m starting to think that’s true. I like this going with the flow kind of life.”

Bo squeezed her against him. “I’m glad you’ve joined the club.”

Windsor looked into his eyes with her stunning baby blues. “Take me home, cowboy. I miss our ranch.”

Bo pressed a kiss to her forehead. “There’s nothing in this world I’d rather do.”

Windsor grinned. “Still can’t believe you married me without a prenup.”

“What are you talking about? You married me without a prenup.”

“Guess that means we’re in this for life then, aren’t we?”

“Always have been, sweetheart. Always have been.”
