20 ~ Intoxicated Chahat #2

After a moment I heard the click of the door opening and then I turned.

And my breath caught in my throat.

The nightgown was ivory. It looked soft, delicate and sinful. It ended at her mid-thigh, the hemline brushing her thighs. The fabric was thin, clinging to every curve of her body.

Over it, she wore a full-length translucent robe. The sheer fabric draped over her shoulders, falling to her ankles, revealing more than it concealed.

Her makeup was gone.

Her face was now fresh, natural and beautiful. Her lips were soft and pink. Her cheeks were flushed with warmth.

And her hair...

Her long, wavy hair was free now, cascading down her shoulders and back in dark, wild waves. It bounced with every step she took as she walked toward the bed.

God.

She's beautiful.

But before my thoughts could wander any further, I noticed something else.

Her steps weren't steady.

She reached the bed and suddenly brought one hand to her forehead, closing her eyes as though a wave of pain had struck her.

I straightened.

"Chahat?"

She didn't answer immediately.

Instead, she pushed her hair back from her face with an irritated movement, as though it was bothering her. A faint sheen of sweat had appeared across her forehead.

The room wasn't warm.

I had barely noticed it until then because the AC had already been running at a comfortable temperature, but she seemed strangely overheated.

I reached for the remote and lowered the temperature.

The AC hummed louder and cold air began circulating through the room.

Yet she still looked uncomfortable.

Something was wrong.

Her face looked flushed, but not from embarrassment or anger this time. Her eyes seemed slightly unfocused.

My eyes narrowed. "Chahat, are you okay?"

She didn't respond properly.

She simply leaned back against the headboard and closed her eyes for a moment. One hand resting against her forehead, her breathing slightly uneven.

She pushed her hair back, revealing the smooth column of her neck. Her skin was glistening with a fine sheen of sweat.

Her breath was coming in shallow gasps. Her eyes were glassy and unfocused.

I couldn't help but see her exposed neck. The delicate curve of her throat, the way her pulse fluttered beneath her skin.

I gulped down.

My eyes lowered and stopped at her chest.

The swell was evident through the thin fabric of the nightgown. The ivory silk clung to her curves, the way her nipples pressed against the material.

My mouth went dry.

I tried to look away but I couldn't.

My sight fell on her bare legs. The nightgown had ridden up slightly, revealing the smooth expanse of her thighs. They were long, toned, golden in the soft lamplight.

Her body seemed designed to drive men mad.

She opened her eyes and looked at me.

There was something different in her gaze. Something primal and Something desperate.

Something that made my heart stop and my blood ran hot.

"Kartik..." she breathed.

Her voice was soft and husky. It sent a shiver down my spine.

"Chahat, Are you okay?"

She closed her eyes again before slowly opening it again. For a second, she simply stared at me.

She swallowed and leaned her head back against the headboard. "Mera sar ghoom raha hai. Aur bohot garmi lag rahi hai."

I looked toward the AC. The temperature was already low enough that I could feel the cold air against my skin.

I sat in front of her, my hands coming up to her face to check her temperature.

She leaned into my touch, her eyes fluttering closed.

My blood ran cold when she held my hand which was resting on her face and she dragged it down towards her neck feeling it against her skin.

Her other hand came up to my chest, her fingers curling into my shirt. She pulled me closer, her body pressing against mine.

"Kartik..." she breathed.

I removed my hand from her grip and she looked annoyed.

I couldn't figure out why she's behaving like that.

Suddenly my mind drifted back to the time she drank the almond milk meant for me.

God.

Was there something in the milk?

Then, without warning, she reached for the translucent robe around her shoulders. She slipped the robe from her shoulders and let it fall.

My breath caught.

For one brief second, I simply stared.

The ivory nightgown, the loose waves of her hair, the faint flush across her face, everything about the sight struck me with an intensity I wasn't prepared for.

She looked completely different from the exhausted bride I had been watching earlier.

She looked at me and suddenly reached forward, catching the collar of my kurta and pulling me closer again.

I froze.

"Utaro ise... please." She was trying to remove my kurta.

(Remove it... please.)

I gently caught her wrist and loosened her fingers from my collar. "Chahat, nahi."

(Chahat no.)

She looked at me for a long moment.

Then her fingers moved toward my face instead, cupping my cheek. "You're so hot Kartik..."

The words were barely above a whisper.

My entire body went rigid when she leaned closer.

She caught hold of my kurta and pulled it upward, tossing it away from us.

The sudden movement left me momentarily stunned, but what completely shattered my composure was the next second her body pressed against me and her lips unintentionally brushed against my bare chest, and my mind went blank.

I went completely rigid, every thought disappearing beneath the shock of the unexpected contact.

I looked down at her, unable to process the effect that one innocent yet startling gesture had on me, before instinctively bringing both hands to her cheeks and gently holding her face.

"Chahat... calm down," I whispered, trying to keep my voice steady even though my own composure had nearly disappeared.

She stared at me as though she was trying to understand what I was saying. Then, instead of answering, she leaned closer.

I wrapped my arms around her carefully, keeping the embrace gentle and protective rather than letting it become anything more.

"Relax," I murmured.

Her body gradually softened against mine.

For several seconds, neither of us moved.

Then her breathing slowed.

Her forehead rested against my chest, and within moments, she had completely relaxed in my arms.

I looked down. Her eyes were closed. She was asleep.

I remained completely still.

Her long hair had fallen across my bare chest, the soft strands brushing against my skin whenever she breathed.

I could feel the warmth of her through the thin fabric of her nightgown, and the closeness was doing absolutely nothing to calm the thoughts running through my head.

I swallowed and carefully adjusted my position so that she was comfortable.

She stirred slightly.

My arms tightened instinctively around her for a second before I forced myself to relax.

"Bas..." I whispered. "So jao."

(Enough...just sleep.)

She didn't respond.

I looked at her face again.

Without the anger in her eyes, without the sharp words, without the constant resistance, she looked peaceful.

I reached over and switched off the lights.

The room fell into darkness, leaving only the faint glow coming through the curtains from the city outside.

Her breathing was soft and even, her body warm and trusting against mine. She was completely relaxed.

I could feel every curve, every softness. Could feel the rise and fall of her breath. Could feel the warmth of her skin seeping into mine.

I closed my eyes, trying to calm my racing heart. Trying to ignore the ache in my body. Trying to think about anything other than the woman in my arms.

And then I felt it.

Her hand.

It had been resting on my chest and was sliding down then placed her palm over my cock.

I gasped.

My eyes flew open. My entire body went still. Every nerve ending in my body was suddenly, achingly aware of the warmth of her palm through the thin fabric of my lower.

"Chahat...." I breathed, my voice rough.

She didn't respond.

She just kept her hand there, her palm pressing gently against my length.

My breath hitched. I couldn't take it anymore.

I reached down, my hand closing around her wrist and I gently moved her hand away.

But her hand moved again and before I could stop her, she placed it back. More firmly this time.

Her palm pressed against me, warm and deliberate. I could feel the heat of her through the fabric.

"Chahat..." I groaned, my voice barely a whisper.

She didn't respond.

I could feel the warmth of her palm. My entire body was trembling with the effort of holding back.

I was struggling the whole night to sleep peacefully.
