Chapter 28 #3

“It’s been weeks.” Her voice was breathless. “Of course I’m…”

“Say it.”

She swallowed. “I’m wet for you.”

“Good girl.”

I gripped the collar of my shirt and ripped.

Buttons flew across the study, pinging off the bookshelves, scattering across the hardwood floor.

She gasped as the fabric tore away, baring her to my gaze.

She was beautiful, the claiming bite on her throat faded but still visible, marking her as taken.

Her breasts rose and fell with rapid breaths, her nipples tight, her skin flushed with arousal.

I pushed her back onto the desk, spreading her thighs wider, drinking in the sight of her laid out beneath me.

Rivers of her arousal glistened on the insides of her thighs, evidence of how much she wanted this.

Her cunt clenched around nothing, desperate to be filled.

The scent of her need saturated the air, and my wolf howled for me to take her, claim her, fill her until she screamed my name.

“Raphael.” My name was a plea on her lips. “Please.”

I lowered my mouth to her puffy lips and tasted her. Weeks without this. Her back arched off the desk, a cry tearing from her throat. She was so wet, so ready, her juices coating my tongue as I devoured her like a starving man. My tongue found her clit, circling, sucking, relentless.

“You will come when I tell you to.” I spoke the words against her flesh. “Not before.”

She whimpered, her fingers tangling in my hair, her hips bucking against my mouth. I could feel her orgasm building through the bond, feel the tension coiling tighter and tighter in her body. She was close, so close, her walls fluttering, her thighs trembling, her breath coming in desperate gasps.

“Come. Now.”

Her orgasm ripped through her on my command, her cunt clenching, her scream echoing off the walls. I drank down her pleasure, tasting her release, feeling it through the bond, letting it feed my own need until I was harder than I had ever been in my life.

Before she could come down, I was over her. In her. One thrust that seated me to the hilt, stretching her around my cock, filling her completely. She gasped, her eyes flying wide, her nails digging into my back hard enough to draw blood.

I did not give her time to adjust. I had spent weeks being fragile. I was done.

I fucked her the way I needed to, hard and deep. The desk groaned beneath us with every thrust. Her cries grew louder, her nails scored my back, and her legs wrapped around my waist to pull me deeper. She felt so good, tight and wet and perfect, her body made for me.

“Who do you belong to?” I growled against her throat.

“You.” The word was a moan.

“Say my name.”

“Raphael.” She was breaking apart beneath me, another orgasm building. “Raphael, please, I’m going to…”

“Not yet.” I slowed my pace, drawing out each thrust, making her feel every inch of me. She sobbed with frustration, her hips trying to speed the rhythm, her cunt clenching around me in desperate need. “You come when I say you can come.”

“You’re a bastard,” she gasped.

“I’m your bastard.” I sank my teeth into the scar on her throat, refreshing the mark, I lapped up the salt of her sweat, the sweetness of her skin.

She shattered.

Her orgasm triggered mine, and I felt my knot swelling at the base of my cock, locking us together.

She cried out at the stretch, her body clenching around me, milking my cock as I poured into her.

Ropes of cum filling her, marking her inside the way the bite marked her outside. Mine. Every part of her. All mine.

We stayed locked together as our breathing slowed, my knot pulsing inside her, aftershocks of pleasure rippling through us both.

I gathered her against me and carried her to the leather couch by the fire, settling us both onto its worn cushions.

She curled against my chest, her head resting right over the scar, her fingers tracing lazy patterns on my skin.

“Did I hurt you?” She touched the healed wound, her voice soft with concern.

“No.” I pressed my mouth to her hair. “You gave me exactly what I needed. Proof that I’m still strong enough to claim you. Proof that I’m still the man you married.”

“Did I hurt you?” I brushed her hair back, examining the fresh bite mark on her throat. It was already bruising, deep purple spreading beneath her skin. I leaned down and licked it, soothing the injury.

“No.” She tilted her head to give me better access, baring her throat in submission. “You gave me exactly what I needed too.”

A deep purr rumbled from my chest, the wolf’s sound of contentment and claiming.

I held her closer, my hand spanning her ribs, feeling her heartbeat against my palm.

This was the contrast that defined us. The monster who would kill for her, now gentle as I tended to her marks.

The man who had faced death and returned, proving with his body that he was still strong enough to claim what was his.

“I’m not broken,” I said quietly. “And neither are we.”

“No.” She pressed a kiss to my chest, right over the scar. “We’re not.”

Somewhere in the house, a clock began to chime. Midnight. The sound echoed through the quiet manor, marking the moment with solemn finality.

“The contract just expired,” I murmured against her hair.

She laughed softly, the sound vibrating through both of us. “I did not even notice.”

“Neither did I.” One year ago today, she had signed her name to a document that bound her to me. One year of her life in exchange for her hotel, her family legacy, her freedom from debt. She had fulfilled every term. And she was still here, warm in my arms, her body still joined to mine.

The contract meant nothing. Had meant nothing for months. We were past that now. Past arrangements and agreements and obligations. We were bonded mates who had faced death together and survived. We were monsters who had found each other.

“I want children with you,” I said. The words came easier now, without the fear that had always strangled them before. “I want to watch you grow round with my pups. I want to hold our child in my arms and teach them that love does not have to be a death sentence. That it can be a reason to live.”

“I want that too.” She tilted her head back to look at me, her eyes soft with love and hope and the promise of more. “I want everything with you.”

“Then we will have everything.” I kissed her forehead. “Starting now.”

She was quiet for a moment, her fingers tracing circles on my chest. “Raphael, I should tell you something.”

I stilled, waiting.

“My birth control.” She bit her lip. “I haven’t taken it in weeks. Not since before the kidnapping. With everything that happened, running, the cabin, the hospital, I forgot. And then I just stopped.”

My heart slammed against my ribs. The wolf surged forward, howling with primal satisfaction. She had stopped. She had chosen to stop.

“You stopped,” I repeated, my voice rough.

“I stopped.” Her eyes met mine, and there was no fear in them. Only certainty. “I want your pups, Raphael. I want them now.”

I kissed her then, deep and claiming, my hand sliding down to press against her belly where my seed was already taking root. Maybe. Hopefully. The thought of her carrying my child, her belly swelling with my pup, made something fierce and protective roar through my chest.

The knot between us had begun to ease, our bodies slowly separating.

I carried her upstairs to our bedroom, settling her into the sheets that smelled like us, like home.

My cum leaked from her, and she made no move to clean it.

Neither did I. Let it take. Let it grow.

Let it bind us together in yet another way.

Tomorrow we would join the hotel celebration, see Clara and Viktor and all the people who had helped us survive. The rest of our lives would begin in earnest.

But tonight belonged to us. Just us. In this bed, in this room, in this manor that had become our home.

I was still the monster. That would never change. But I was her monster now, and she was mine. Two creatures who had found each other in the darkness and refused to let go.

Mine, I thought, pressing one last kiss to her hair. Forever. _
