Chapter 4

Chapter Four

I knew this would be difficult when I came here this morning.

Hell, I even expected her to show some remorse.

She literally stands up, staring at me defiantly and looking like a sexy criminal that doesn’t give two shits about what I have to say.

It makes me angry. Yet, it turns me on too. God, this woman is testing me.

With a shrug of my shoulders, I sigh. “Unfortunately, your mother has already called the station asking for the camera footage.” Another lie. I’m racking up the charges myself. “My deputy told her we couldn’t release it.”

Othella’s cockiness drops, and a dejected look overcomes her. “She’ll just throw me out.”

“Maybe, ladybug, but you still have to come to the station. Don’t make me put the cuffs on you.”

I hope she does. The unyielding desire to make this woman submit to me is maddening. “You and what army?” she smarts off to me. With a chuckle, I grab her by the waist and throw her onto my shoulder.

“Just me, ladybug. Just me.”

Othella bangs on my back as I walk to the squad car. “You can’t do this!” she yells. I can’t help but laugh as I throw her into the back seat and slam the car door shut. Poor thing thinks wiggling the door handle will do anything. She’s locked in.

Walking back into the house, I gather her things.

I received a call from Othella’s mother to have her taken to the airport.

It was an odd request, but I was going to do it.

That is until Othella showed me she was guilty of the crime last night.

Shit, the girl doesn’t even know I’m making a false arrest.

She doesn’t have many belongings, and it irritates me. This girl should be in the mansion with her family. What the hell is going on here? I don’t have time to deal with that line of questioning right now.

As I walk out to the vehicle, the only thing that keeps me from feeling too guilty about what I’m about to do is that I’ve been watching Othella since she got here. I know she’s committing the crimes, and I plan to make her pay. Just not through the legal system.

“You have no right to do this to me.” She bangs on the plexiglass window and scowls at me. I watch her in the rearview mirror and fall for her a little more with each passing second.

“Well, I am. And you, ladybug, may remain silent. Anything you say…”

I stop talking as she hits the glass again. “Your ass is about to be tanned if you don’t fucking pipe down and behave.”

“Take me to the airport. I’ll be out of everyone’s hair,” she says like it’s a finite plan, and if I didn’t want her so badly, I would do it. Hell, if I were a better man, I would turn this car around and head straight to the airport. Too bad for her. I’m not a better man.

“If you answer all my questions and we make some sort of deal, then you will be driven to the airport.”

Othella squirms and I want to know how it feels for her to be squirming on my cock. “The airport solves all our problems. I’m out of your hair and my mother is happy. See?”

The way she’s trying to bargain with me is adorable, but I’m not having it. “Too bad, Othella. I’ve got you red-handed, and I cannot let your crimes go unpunished.”

She slaps the glass between us, and I chuckle. Shaking my head, I wink at her. “I’m sure your mother will understand why you destroyed public property.”

Her anger bleeds from her, and she turns ghostly white. Shit, I knew she was behind all of this because I’ve been stalking her, but her reaction tells me she is truly guilty for everything.

Othella looks at me dejectedly. “What’s it going to take for you to let me disappear?”

Where the hell is the spunky woman I’ve gotten used to sparring with? This doesn’t feel right. It’s too easy. Hell, it seems like she’s already given up.

A devious plan forms in my mind, and if I follow through with it, I’ll shoot my morals to shit. “I guess that depends on you, ladybug.” I pull into the parking lot of the station and park the vehicle.

When I get out, I shut my door, and stand in the cold for a moment. Can I really go through with this? As Othella bangs on the window, pleading with me, I realize I’ve already begun.

Let’s be honest, I’m ecstatic that I have Othella in my grasp and that she has no idea what is about to happen. “Get out,” I demand as I open the door. “If you run, I will chase you.”

She looks at me with desire, her pupils dilate, and her breathing becomes shallow. Taking her by the arm, I lead her toward the back of the building where the jail is.

“Why are you taking me to jail? I thought you were going to question me.” The anxiety in her voice has my cock hard, but I ignore it for now.

“Because I don’t want anyone to see I have the culprit apprehended.”

Opening the door, I push her inside. “Unless you want everyone to know you’re the one who has committed the crime.”

“Fuck you!” She spits at me. A plop of wetness hits my face, and I lock the door behind me.

Grabbing her neck, I push her up against the wall and kiss her, fighting between being turned on and wanting to strangle her.

I punish her lips with mine, wanting her to understand how crazy she makes me.

The feeling of her tongue poking into my mouth makes me want to claim her.

Right now. Instead, I pull back, looking at her, trying to figure out my next move. She moans and I back away even further.

With a smirk, I move my hand along her neck and bend down, kissing that delicate spot right behind her right ear. “If you want me to fuck you, all you have to do is ask.”

Her eyes grow wide, and I’m unable to stop the grin from spreading on my face.

“Never,” she mumbles and tries her damnedest to push me off her.

Squeezing her neck, I growl, “Do you want to add ‘assaulting an officer’ to your list of charges?”

She gasps. Oh, it’s tiny and barely audible, but I caught it. My heart’s beating wildly, wanting her to mess up so I can drive my cock so deep inside of her she begs me to never leave her wet pussy. Shit. I shouldn’t be thinking about things like this.

“No,” her grouchy reply is accompanied by her dropping her hands. She isn’t happy about the pickle she’s currently in, but it’s working splendidly for me.

“Good. I’m going to let you go. Behave,” I stoically warn her. Releasing her neck, I step back enough for her to walk in front of me. We walk into the holding area, and I put her in the first one.

“If you continue to behave, I won’t tell your mother what you’ve been up to. Now sit down.”

As I shut the door, it clicks. Othella sits down and folds her arms over her chest. She glares at me, but doesn’t say a word.

“Good girl.” I wink at her and leave. Before I do something that crosses a line, I must think. I’m not ready to go over to the dark side.

Not yet anyway.
