9. Selene #3

The third week, we meet in his truck, parked in the lot behind the hardware store where he buys supplies.

The seats are leather and smell of him, and I straddle him in the driver's seat, my skirt bunched around my waist, his cock splitting me open while we watch the sunrise paint the storefronts gold.

He comes inside me, hot and thick, and then he feeds me donuts from the bakery next door, his fingers sticky with glaze, his mouth sweet with sugar and me.

The fourth week, Richard's office. A supply closet on the third floor, shelves of paper and toner and the smell of industrial cleaner.

Silas bends me over a crate of copy paper, my hands gripping the metal shelving, my panties around my ankles, his cock driving into me from behind while Richard takes a phone call twenty feet away on the other side of the door.

I bite my lip until it bleeds to keep from screaming.

Silas covers my mouth with his hand, his fingers pressing into my cheeks, and whispers into my ear that I am his good girl, his perfect girl, his girl who can take anything he gives her.

Each time, he is bigger. Each time, he is harder.

Each time, he is more desperate, more claiming, more certain that this separation is killing him by degrees.

Each time, I am tighter, more swollen, more his, my body adjusting to his absence by becoming more sensitive to his presence, every nerve ending attuned to the specific shape and weight and heat of him.

Each time, the aftercare is longer. He holds me for hours after, his hand on my heart, his cock still inside me, whispering that one month is almost over, that forever is almost here, that soon we will wake up in the same bed and fall asleep in the same bed and never have to sneak through windows or hide in closets or pretend that we are anything less than everything to each other.

The last night of the month, I meet him at the construction site. The house is further along now, walls framed, roof trusses in place, the skeleton becoming a body. He has installed a temporary door, a slab of plywood on hinges, and he locks it behind us when I enter.

The mattress is still in the center of what will be our bedroom, but now there are sheets, real sheets, soft and clean and smelling of laundry detergent and him.

He has brought candles, dozens of them, their flames flickering against the fresh drywall, casting shadows that dance like spirits welcoming us home.

He undresses me slowly. Piece by piece. My sundress, the same one I wore the night I left, now faded and torn beyond repair. My bra, the lace frayed at the edges. My panties, soaked through before he even touches me.

He lays me back on the sheets, settles between my thighs, and enters me with one slow, endless stroke, thick and curved and pulsing. I take him fully now, stretched and ready and his, no pain, only the perfect burn of being filled completely.

"I love you," he says, the words falling from his lips like stones into still water, rippling through every part of me. "I love you, Selene. I have loved you since before you walked through that door. I will love you until I stop breathing. And then I will love you in whatever comes after."

"I love you too," I whisper, my hands finding his face, my thumbs tracing the lines of strain and longing that thirty days have carved into his skin. "I love you, Daddy. I love you, Silas. I love every part of you. And I'm never leaving again."

He moves inside me, slow and deep, the kind of rhythm that changes the shape of a person's insides, each thrust a promise, each withdrawal a vow to return.

The candles flicker. The house creaks around us, settling into its foundation, becoming a home.

We move together, two bodies that have learned to speak without words, two hearts that have survived separation and emerged stronger, two souls that have chosen each other against every obstacle the world could place between them.

He comes inside me, hot and claiming, his forehead pressed to mine, his hand on my heart, his voice breaking on my name. I follow him over the edge, my body convulsing around his cock, my tears mixing with his sweat, my forever beginning in this half-built house with this fully built love.

After, he holds me until dawn. Then he rises, dresses me in a clean white sundress he bought for this morning, brushes my hair with his fingers, and slides a ring onto my finger that he carved from oak—smooth and warm and perfect.

"Today," he says, his eyes dark and burning and full of a future I can almost touch. "Today we make it official. Today we make it forever. Today we prove them all wrong."

I look at the ring, at him, at the house that will be our home, the life that will be our story, the love that has survived everything they threw at us.

"Today," I agree, my voice steady and sure—the voice of a woman who knows exactly what she wants and exactly who she belongs to.

We walk out into the dawn, hand in hand, the oak ring heavy and warm on my finger, his seed still inside me, his marks still on my skin, his heart beating in time with mine.

Today is the first day of forever.
