Chapter 13
Kairo
I waved at Truce who stood in his front doorway as I got into the Uber. He waved back.
Everything had gone right after I finally made it to his house last night. At least for me. He behaved like the daddy I’d always wanted. I wished I could have touched him, though, and given him the pleasure in return for what he gave me.
I had really badly wanted him to drive me home. But I wasn’t ready to show him what home was for me. Just thinking about telling him gave me chills. Too many what-ifs. I needed to wait.
That night, when we finally met for dinner, I wasn’t late. And I was hungry.
He greeted me with a hug and a small kiss to my forehead. It was as if we’d never parted.
A candle burned in a gold glass jar in the center of the table. The room was all flicker and shadow. Truce pointed out dishes on the menu, learning my preferences as I learned his. It was all very romantic. When it came time for the check, he grabbed it.
“I can pay,” I said.
“Daddies pay,” came the answer.
For the first time, a pang of guilt stabbed because I wasn’t being truthful about my living situation. I didn’t need him spending money on me. But I couldn’t refute him saying daddies pay. He wanted to pay. And he did seem to have a nice job.
I wanted to be taken care of. I’d always dreamed of it. Having someone feed my little self was like a deep longing. But until now, that had never included a financial aspect.
Afterward, I followed Truce home. I was driving my own car this time. He raised an eyebrow at it, like he had the first night we’d talked at the bar and he’d walked me out, but he said nothing.
I was glad about him keeping quiet. If he asked about it, what would I say? More lies? If I told him Grandfather had given it to me it would have been half the truth. He hadn’t given it as a specific gift, but his money had bought it. I’d picked out the car I wanted after all the money became mine.
But the house, well, I considered that a gift.
And everything in it. And the people who helped care for it.
And care for me. I had everything. Except a daddy.
Maybe I was a brat for wanting that sort of care more than the rest. I was, after all, the luckiest boy in the world.
Only I didn’t feel that way when Grandfather died.
I’d loved him. And as I spent the next years in lonely grief, it all seemed pretty unlucky to me.
Until Truce.
We’d just met but I already felt like I knew him. His attention. His caring. The details of his home that were comforting and warm.
We parked in his driveway side by side. That was when I realized his little home had no garage. There was an awning on one side of the house that he parked under.
As we approached the porch, I said, “That’s nice to have shade on your car.”
“It’s not a fancy carport but it works.”
“Carport?”
He looked down at me, his face scrunched. “That’s what it’s called. You didn’t know that?”
We didn’t have carports and none of my rich friends from school did, either. Not wanting to admit I truly did not know about carports, I quickly changed the subject.
I pointed upward. “Look, Daddy. The moon. Isn’t it pretty?”
He followed my gaze. “It’s almost full.”
“It’s a September moon. I wrote a poem for it last year.”
“You write poems?”
I nodded. “In a diary. Like Dear September type poems. Or Dear Saturday. Dear Clouds in the Sky. That sort of thing. I paint, too. Sometimes with my fingers.” I giggled.
“I love it. Daddy’s little artist. You’ll have to show me.”
“Uh huh.” Someday. When that day might come, well, I couldn’t think ahead that far.
“We still have a lot to learn about each other,” he said.
“Yes, Daddy.”
A heaviness started to grow in my chest. But Daddy distracted me, putting his arms around me and hugging me to him.
Inside, we hung up our coats and went to the couch. Daddy made a fire in the small fireplace. It crackled and seemed to laugh. Different from my house where all the fireplaces were electric and silent, the flames unamused to be doing fire stuff.
Cedar and flame scents filled the room. Daddy ran his thumb down the side of my face. “You’re beautiful. Did you know that?”
Slowly, I shook my head. He kept saying that. I was maybe okay-looking, but Truce was the beautiful one. Everyone in the bar for two nights in a row couldn’t take their eyes off him.
“You’re the standout in a crowd,” I countered.
“Sweet boy.”
I leaned against his shoulder and threw one leg over his lap.
He kissed the top of my head. It was all so natural.
Like something more than just one man telling another he was pretty.
On a deep level, I sensed a compatibility.
I wasn’t experienced about stuff like that.
I just knew. It was there. A seed of something with roots that entwined because that was the way nature had made it.
We talked. It was dreamy. Finally, my curiosity would not stay back.
“Tell me about the kink world. Please, Daddy. I want to know.”
“About littles?”
“No. About you. What you like. Your experiences.”
“Ah ha.” He leaned back, a rumble in his chest as he quietly laughed. “My curious boy.”
“I am curious. Is that bad of me to ask?”
“No. Not bad at all. Is there anything specific you want to know? To try?”
“You talked about edging.” My face heated to say such a private word. “Would you ever want to do that to me? Or is it only about yourself.”
“Whatever feels right in the moment. What the other partner asks for. And yes, many have asked me. I can give as well as take.”
At that second, I became obsessed to learn about that. And all of it.
That night when we went into the bedroom, there were items lined up at the foot. “What’s all this?”
Daddy came from behind me and put his arms around my waist. “See anything you might like?”
I looked over all of it. There was a brand-new package of pullup diapers, not the adult kind but adult-sized, decorated with cartoon dogs, cats and flowers.
A three-pack of pacifiers, yellow, pink and green.
A package of plastic sail boats and another of squirting fish—tub toys.
Lavender scented bubble bath. A plastic-wrapped pack of brand-new pajamas, pale blue and fuzzy.
Immediately, I wanted to run my hands all over them.
“The ones with feet were out of stock,” Truce commented. “But I have them on backorder. In the meantime.” He pointed. “These can substitute.”
Next to the PJs sat a new pair of slippers, fuzzy pink. I reached out, letting the soft faux fur run through my fingers.
“You had all this already?”
“Hmm. No. I wouldn’t offer you anything used. Everything is new.”
He had been shopping. For me. When had he found the time?
Guilt swept in. I didn’t need gifts. Plus, I hadn’t gotten him anything.
Daddy backed away. “Oops, I almost forgot. The centerpiece.” He went to his dresser. On it was a large silver gift bag with white tissue paper sticking out of the top. He handed it to me.
“What is it?” I asked.
“Look and see.”
I set the bag down and pulled out the tissue paper.
Inside was something round and soft. And big.
I pulled it out. It was a squishy, soft as a cloud, round as a beach ball, blue and pink edged with two antennae coming out the top, and a big-eyed face with a little embroidered smile. I stared at it. “What is it?”
“An alien. I think.”
I jerked it to my chest, squashing the creature in the process. “I love it. So much!”
“Good. And the rest?”
“All of it, Daddy. You didn’t have to do this. It’s too much.”
“It’s what daddies do. I take care of my boy.”
I surveyed the lineup of items again. “I love all of it, Daddy. Thank you so much. Can I wear the PJs tonight? And the pull ups?”
“Of course.” He leaned down and pressed a kiss to my lips. “Would you like a bath to see how the new bath toys work?”
I nearly toppled over. The only person who’d ever given me a bath was a nanny from years ago when I was still a toddler. But once I’d become school age I was very independent.
“Yes, Daddy. Can I play with the toys and have the bubble bath?”
Daddy gathered up the items. “That’s what it’s all for.”
In the bathroom was a big white tub. I watched the bubbles form as the water flowed into it. My toes curled.
“All your clothes. Off,” Daddy ordered.
I quickly stripped as Daddy left for a moment to get a stack of towels. I watched the water, shifting excitedly from foot to foot, my cock already hard and bobbing.
He placed a hand on my upper back and said, “Get in, baby.”
I stepped over the edge of the tub very aware my backside was on full display for my daddy. I was small and compact, but with a firm ass. I knew that about myself because I’d checked in a mirror many times at home. The treadmill and stationary bike four days a week had helped in that area.
Truce’s hand stayed on my back as I slowly lowered myself into the bubbly warm water and let out a big sigh.
“Good?” he asked.
“So wonderful.”
He opened the new packs of tub toys and tossed them in.
The fish and sailboats floated in the white currents.
I immediately grabbed one of the goldfish, about the size of my hand, squeezed it and filled it with water.
Then I squirted it up into the air. A fountain of water came from its mouth, making me yelp.
“That’s so cool!”
Daddy laughed.
When he got down on the floor, he leaned over the tub and grabbed a washcloth. Immediately, he began to run the cloth over my shoulders and back.
For some reason, I hadn’t thought about him really washing me. Maybe I thought he would just watch. I wanted him to watch. But no, this was a hands-on daddy. All the way.
As I played and pretended not to notice, he soaped me up from neck to toes. Even my cock and balls. When he clasped them in his soap-slippery cloth, it really turned me on. My cock stood up against my belly, the dark pink tip poking out of the clouds of bubbles.
