Chapter 14

Truce

We made plans go to Kings and Queens on Saturday. I could tell Kairo was happy but also nervous. He kept saying, “But what should I wear?”

He made me show him my outfits, my leather, my whips and even nastier toys. He went white when he saw all the butt plugs I’d collected over the years. “Will I have to wear one?”

I couldn’t help but laugh.

“Don’t laugh, Daddy. I don’t know about these things.”

“You are free to wear what you want to wear,” I assured him. “And no one’s going to make you use one of those toys unless you ask.”

“Well, I might ask. But not my first time, okay?”

I laughed again. “Okay.”

He was the sweetest boy and lover I’d ever had. I’d had no idea he was a virgin when we first met. Sure, he’d been shy, but when he was in super little mode that innocence and purity came as part of that deal. Or so I thought. I hadn’t known it was literal.

I hadn’t yet brought up the subject of anal and he didn’t ask.

That told me he wasn’t ready yet. In truth, some guys never were.

Something I had learned early in life was to make sure there was room for compromise.

There were very few deal-breakers for me when it came to sex with someone I cared about. When it came to making love.

The sweetest thing a little could ever say to me was, “Teach me.” That had my attention front and center. And my body’s attention, as well. It meant Kairo was open-minded. Any new-guy barriers between us were lowering more every day.

I dressed for the night in my leather chaps with the removeable ass covers.

On the front, the easy-open fly was framed by metal studs to match the ones on my knee-high boots.

I was partial to vests of any kind. I decided on a my leather one that laced at the tops of my shoulders.

Beneath it I wore my favorite harness with silver grommets.

For a long time, I stared at my various headgear. Some covered the entire head. Others were hoods attached to masks with holes for the eyes. I picked one out and put it on. It was a leather cap with an eye mask that looked the least intimidating. I liked the look.

I was ready early, nervously looking out my window to see if Kairo had arrived. Kairo got me all jittery. In a good way.

When he drove up, parking in my driveway so as not to block my car, I opened the front door.

He got out of his car smiling, his mouth opening to see all the leather. “Wow.” He slammed his car door. “You look—hot.”

I gave him a half-smile in return but could not quite hold back my own disappointment.

He was dressed in loose trousers, a white shirt and a black blazer.

Of course he looked exceedingly handsome, but none of his little self showed at all except the alien he held in the crook of his arm.

At least it was the squishy I’d given him and not a different toy, which made me feel a bit more at ease.

As he walked up my porch steps, I said, “Now, baby, tell the truth. Are you sure you want to do this?”

“Yes, Daddy. I’m sure.” He stumbled forward and threw his arms around me. “You’ll be with me the whole time so I’ll be safe and happy.”

“Promise me you’ll tell me if you don’t like the club and we’ll leave.”

“I think I might like it but I promise.”

But looking at him, I wasn’t sure. He didn’t have color on today, and only a tiny bit of eyeshadow and mascara along with pretty pink lip gloss. While he didn’t always wear makeup, in my opinion with this outfit he’d downplayed himself.

Body language was my thing as a Dom, but maybe I was looking too hard for messages.

We stood in the doorway, ready to go.

“Daddy, you look good all in leather.”

“Thank you.” I reached to the table beside the door, grabbed the mask and put it on. “What about this?”

He took a step back, cheeks hollowing, brow tightening. “Um. Uh.”

“You can be honest.” But I already knew his opinion.

“It’s kinda scary, Daddy.”

I pulled the mask off, chuckling. “All right. First things first. Always tell me the truth.” I tossed the mask back on the table. “This will stay behind.”

Kairo’s eyes lit up when he saw my full face again. He reached up and stroked my hair back into place. “There,” he said.

Now we could be on our way.

I took his hand and closed the front door behind us.

Saturday nights were the busiest for Kings and Queens. This was our first night out in public, other than an occasional meal, since we got together. I was used to attention in crowds. Kairo wasn’t.

As we approached the entrance, I put my arm around his shoulders and pulled him to my side. “Stay close.”

“It’s busy.” Kairo’s eyes were round.

“A popular place.”

Though the front was dark, the double doors were outlined in flashing blue lights.

There was no line but people were coming and going and we had to wait as the doorman checked phones for payment receipts or sent people with credit cards to an inside window.

I’d handled everything beforehand and he let us right through.

We walked through a short tunnel with dim track lights and emerged in the main bar and dance hall.

Like just about every club in the city, gay or straight, the thunder of music with a heavy base hit like a wall.

The air was scented and spicy in an attempt to combat the heavy sweat and leather.

Circulation systems were good here and it wasn’t too overwhelming.

What was, if you were a newbie, were the patrons.

So much leather. So many thick, tattooed arms. It was bear paradise here, although littles and subs ran through the room and dance floor in lighter contrast. While the attire was mostly dark leather, there were queens who wore multi-colored wigs, white leather bras, bikini briefs and thongs.

This place was everything you could imagine.

And more. There was a reason it was so popular not just with this city; people came on weekends from the surrounding cities, as well.

I’d been coming here for over ten years but not for the past couple months. It was like a homecoming as heads turned. I recognized every other face I saw. They recognized me.

And then it started.

“Truce. Truce. Truce.”

Kairo’s fist grabbed the hem of my vest as he skirted halfway behind me.

“You fine with this?” I asked under my breath.

“Yep, Daddy.” He spoke into my back.

Old friends quickly came up to me, some hugging, others patting my shoulders and chest.

“Who’s this?” Rico asked.

Derek wasn’t as polite. “Is he the new one?”

Others echoed the questions, moving around me to better see Kairo.

“This is Kairo.” I smiled. “He’s with me.” I hugged him hard. “No fighting about it.”

Everyone laughed.

Kairo leaned his head back finally showing his face. I began the introductions. Rico. Derek. Jaz. Kumo. Davie. Jerry. Kirk. Klo. Carsten. As I kept going, his eyes went blank. I guess I knew just about everyone and there was no way he would remember them all, or even one of them by name.

My friends came in all shapes, sizes, colors and demeanor. Some wore barely anything while others were covered in leather head to toe. It was a lot to take in if you’d never been around it before.

Kairo smiled, his voice a bit scratchy. “Hi.” He gave a royal wave.

“Well, he’s all dressed up for this,” Rico said.

He had been so nervous about what to wear and now they were already teasing him about attire.

I hadn’t come here to shoot the shit. My focus was on Kairo. I moved through the crowd, his hand holding mine. They might look scary as a group all staring at us, but they were polite and stood aside to let us by.

“Do you want to get a drink? Or dance?” I asked.

“Whatever you decide is good, Daddy.”

“No. You get a say. In everything. You need to be open and communicate or we’re leaving.”

His eyes welled. “Yes, Daddy. I don’t dance so good. I think I’d like a drink?”

“Good choice.”

I got him the sweet drink he’d liked from our first meet. It was more chocolate than alcohol but I hoped it would loosen him up.

It was noisy at the main bar so we walked down the hall toward the B&D rooms.

“Let’s take a peek.”

All the front rooms were in use. Doors stayed open for public scenes, closed if the players wanted privacy. Up front, most were open where the more exhibitionist types could be readily seen and heard.

My curious boy, having sipped half of his drink, was already tugging at me to follow him to the first door. Good for him.

A mostly naked sub was on his knees hugging a wooden pole, his hands tied behind it. The Dom stood over him with a square leather paddle attached to a thin stick. He ran the paddle down his spine, then smacked him twice on both shoulders. The sub already had red patches showing on his skin.

The Dom walked around him, stroking with the leather as if to comfort, then without warning, struck again.

In a strict voice he said, “Does the naughty boy want more?”

“Yes, sir!”

Kairo looked at me and I leaned down to hear his whisper. “But doesn’t it hurt him?”

“It stings. But there are worse toys than paddles. This is softer. As he strokes him, it soothes before the next sting. Done well, it creates a dependency type of arousal.” I smiled. “At least, for me. The two sensations combine to create a thrill and a chill that many find addictive.”

“Like when littles get spanked?” he asked.

“Definitely. The scene is punishment under another’s power but comes with a reward.”

“But did he do something wrong to get punished?”

I shrugged. “These scenes have any backstory anyone wants. Pain creates adrenaline which in turn creates a rush of endorphins. That can be the reward in and of itself.”

“That’s what masochism is,” he said, squaring his shoulders.

He’d been doing his own research. “Yes. But everyone is different. Some want only a bit of that feeling and some want a lot. It’s the Dom’s job to make sure the scene remains safe, consensual and to give aftercare.”

“Aftercare?”

“One of the most important parts.”

He nodded, gaze going to the sub as he cried out after a successive barrage of smacks. We watched for a few minutes before Kairo tugged my hand and said, “What else?”

We walked back into the hall. Catcalls and whistles sailed out the door of another room.

Kairo looked in and his face went instantly pink when he saw the naked man tied to a St. Andrews Cross.

His back and ass were already covered in welts.

His bindings had been loosened enough so he could bend over with his ass out.

The show had moved onto to sex with this one.

And it wasn’t anything vanilla. There were men lined up with their cocks out and hard, most with condoms already covering them, waiting for a turn with him.

Kairo gave a little eep. This was triple X stuff.

“Sweetheart, do you want to watch?”

He buried his face in my vest. “I want to see all of it. But let’s go to the next one.”

Two men knelt before a throng of other men. They had signs around their necks that said, “Cum-dump.” They had their mouths open as at least a dozen guys jerked off over their heads or used their mouths.

“There are a lot of group scenes, here.”

Kairo took a heavy breath. “Did you ever do groups?”

“Hmm. Maybe we should have talked more before I brought you here.”

He scrunched up his face. “I know I’m a prude but I want to see and know about stuff.”

“I know.” It could be scary at first, but he was finding his way. I only hoped it might always lead back to me.
