2. Meet the Parents #2

Ian chuckled ironically. “I’m not upset. I’m perplexed.” Deja trembled as his fingers lightly caressed the inside of her thigh. “That my brother entered the gates of your warm heaven before I did,” he said, sliding his fingers over her labia.

She breathed heavily, her legs instinctively widening as he spread her lips.

Ian smiled. “Well… look how you open up for me. I guess it isn’t all bad…

” he hummed. She sharply inhaled, and her back arched as two fingers penetrated her.

“I would love to mount you. Stretch your divinity until you’re wrapped around me like a glove.

And fill you up with my seed until it’s spilling down your beautiful skin… ”

Deja whimpered as Ian’s fingers picked up speed while his thumb massaged her tender clit, working her over.

“But I rather like this view of you… legs spread, breasts bare, pussy aching and desperate…” Ian leaned down and kissed her knee as he gazed upon her face.

“I just need one more thing… satiate me, darling…”

As if on command, Deja moaned his name as her hips pushed into his fingers. Biting his lip, Ian shakily exhaled. “...that’s my girl…”

“We got in last night… I slept okay… The guys? They’re doing fine… Yes, we’re leaving soon. I’m just feeding Chloe… I know, Mom. I can’t wait to see you, too. Love you…”

Placing her phone down, Deja pulled Chloe against her breast, allowing her baby girl to feed.

She stared outside the window and felt a wave of relief wash over her.

She had never been so excited to see her parents.

Peeling Chloe off her, she wiped the corners of her daughter’s mouth and placed her baby against her shoulder to burp her.

Deja had fallen asleep that afternoon in Jax’s arms, yet had woken to an empty bed. She immediately recognized his deep voice just outside the bedroom. Leaving the bed, Deja quietly stepped outside the room. It seemed like ever since they arrived, the men had become more secretive around her.

“Are you sure that’s the right location?”

Deja peeked around the corner and saw Jax leaning against the wall with his arms crossed over his chest. Ian sat at the dining room table, where Keith was perched on the edge, while Caleb leaned against the couch scrolling through his phone.

She tried to listen in when Chloe started crying, and all four men turned to look at her. She groaned as she tried to comfort Chloe. “You’re awake,” Caleb smiled.

“Yeah. I wish you guys hadn’t let me sleep for so long,” she sighed.

“You needed the rest, love,” Jax said, approaching Deja as Chloe reached out to him. He took his daughter into his arms, and her cries immediately ceased as he lay her against his chest. Deja couldn’t get over how attached Chloe already was to her father.

“My father offered to pick us up, but I told him we’d just take an Ube-” Deja started.

“It’s fine. We got a few cars,” Jax said, kissing Chloe’s cheek.

Deja squinted. “Like… rented?”

Jax smiled at her. “No, baby…”

Deja looked at them, startled. “What? Why a few?”

“Keith and I have things to take care of,” Ian smiled.

Deja looked at him suspiciously when Caleb approached her. “Why don’t you go get dressed so we can leave?”

“Sure…” she said with uncertainty.

Jax watched her leave before he turned to his brothers. “Make sure to clean up after yourselves.”

“Don’t we always?” Keith said, flipping his blade.

Deja twisted her mouth as she looked over her simple blue skirt and white blouse. Her stomach was in knots.

“You look nervous.”

Deja glanced at the door and saw Ian leaning against the doorframe, watching her. “Can you blame me? I’m going to see my parents with a baby they didn’t know I had and two men that hate each other… who also happen to be murderers.”

Ian walked up behind her and slid his hands around her waist. “You’re a new mother sharing the joy of life with your parents… accompanied by two men who are undeniably in love with you. The rest doesn’t really matter…”

Deja looked at him through the mirror as he caressed her arms and affectionately kissed her shoulder. “I’m sure they’ll behave…for you,” he added.

Deja snorted. “Yeah, right. Not sure how long I can keep them from killing each other.”

Ian smirked. “My beautiful Deja. Stop. Underestimating. Your power.”

Holding Chloe to his chest, Keith looked between Caleb and Jax, who were both occupied with their phones. “So… You guys really think you’re gonna last the night without stabbing each other?” Keith asked.

“Of course. We’re both adults. Besides, I don’t want to ruin Caleb’s only good suit,” Jax said, fixing his cuff.

Caleb snorted. “I’ll carve you up and make it look like an accident, Jax. Don’t fuck with me.”

“Fantastic! We’re off to a great start!” Keith laughed, making Chloe giggle.

“What’s so funny?” Deja asked, walking into the living room with Ian. Jax and Caleb both glared at Keith.

“Just talking about what Good Boys we’ll all be tonight,” Keith grinned.

The drive to her parents’ house was quiet, except for the few times Deja spoke up to share information about them with Caleb. She sat in the back with Chloe, forcing an irritable Caleb and Jax to sit up front.

Their silence was nerve-wracking, if not for Jax smiling at her through the rearview mirror while he drove, and Caleb turning around every so often to help her with Chloe.

When they arrived, Deja was in full panic mode. “Do I look okay? Is my-”

“Baby, you look fine,” Jax said, holding Chloe.

“Don’t stress it,” Caleb added. “It’ll be a good night.”

Deja looked back at them nervously, admiring their dashing suits that complemented their physiques, and smiled. Then the door opened.

“Sweet Baby Jesus! Finally!”

Deja’s stomach flipped at the sight of her mother before she was wrapped up in her embrace.

She held her mother tightly as she deeply inhaled her familiar scent and felt a wave of emotion wash over her.

Before she realized it, tears were falling down her face as she heaved into her mother’s shoulder.

Her mother pulled back and looked at her with eyes full of emotion. “Oh, sweetie! I missed you so much!”

Deja smiled through her tears. “I m-missed you t-too, Ma…” she sobbed.

Jax’s face fell as he watched Deja sob in her mother’s embrace. His heart tightened with distress. Was it this bad? He was only trying to protect her. He didn’t know…

He caught Caleb watching Deja, a similar somber expression on his face, before they exchanged glances. Jax expected Caleb’s judgment. Instead, they seemed to revel in the same remorse.

“Is that my granddaughter?!” Debra gasped, finally releasing her daughter.

Jax smiled charmingly as he carefully shifted Chloe towards her grandmother. “She just woke up from a nap,” Jax said.

Debra bit her bottom lip as tears fell down her cheeks. “Oh, sweet heavenly Father! She’s so precious!” she beamed, taking Chloe from Jax.

Deja’s nostrils quivered with emotion as her father stepped outside.

“...P-Pops-” But Jared had already pulled his daughter into his arms before she could finish speaking.

She tightly clutched the back of his shirt as her body shook with sobs.

She didn’t expect to be so overcome with emotion, but she had never felt happier.
