22. Chapter 22 #3
“You feel so good,” he says roughly, like he’s losing control one thrust at a time.
Pleasure keeps crashing into me, stronger than anything I’ve ever felt before. Panting beneath him, I cling to him like I never want this moment to end.
Kade hooks an arm under my knee and raises my leg, angling me in a way that makes my pulse spike.
The next thrust sinks deeper, ripping a cry from my lips.
The sensation hits me so hard, it knocks my head back, and I arch my back for more.
My fingers twist in the blanket underneath me.
I’m not used to this. Not his size. Not the way he buries himself so deep where no one has ever reached before.
“Fuck, you’re taking me so well.” The praise heats my body hotter than it already is. “You have no idea how much I’ve wanted you like this.” Our bodies are so connected; I don’t know where I stop and he begins.
Kade’s eyes bore into me, his jaw tightens, and through gritted teeth, he says, “Fuck. I can’t hold on much longer.” For a second, his eyes widen with surprise, as though he’s never had that problem before.
“I’m nearly there,” I groan.
He presses his thumb to my sensitive clit, massaging it in tight circles.
“Oh, God,” I cry as pleasure shoots through me.
“Look at me, Daisy. I want to see you come,” he demands on a rough whisper.
Our eyes lock, and I couldn’t pull away even if I wanted to. So dark and dangerous, yet passionate and all-consuming, like he can see into my soul.
In a blinding flash of light, I fall off a cliff, screaming his name into the void as I come.
A rough groan tears from Kade’s mouth as he buries his face against my neck. His body bucks with mine. He thrusts into me once, twice. Every muscle in his body tenses, and his grip tightens painfully against my hip.
“Fuck,” he chokes as his body jerks with his release.
When the tremors of his orgasm subside, he collapses on top of me, careful to keep his weight on his forearms. Our breaths are coming hard, our skin slick and hot. I can feel his body quivering.
Easing out, he leans to the side, pulls off the condom and tosses it away. He rolls off me, pulling me with him, and I lie, curled up in his arms, trying to catch my breath. Every muscle in my body is loose and heavy. I’m exhausted in the best way possible, my body humming from head to toe.
“Thank you,” I whisper. “You were right. I’m a happy woman,” I voluntarily concede. The man did good. No point denying it.
He brushes the hair back off my forehead, a cocky grin on his face. “I only state the facts.” He looks playful when he smiles. Less serious. Less dangerous than what I’m used to seeing. More real. I’m loving this lighter side of him.
I pinch his pec. “Full. Of. It.”
Pulling me in closer, I rest my head on his chest, soaking up this moment.
Tonight will be my only night I’ll be with Kade in this way.
I’ll lock how I feel about it away, to examine another time.
Right now, I want to enjoy every second.
I stare out of the open ceiling at the neon lights swishing around in the sky instead of stars.
This night could not have been more perfect.
Kade’s fingers brush up and down my arm. “How are you finding Las Vegas so far?”
Perfect. Amazing. How do I go back to my normal life? I want to say, but keep my thoughts to myself. I tilt my face up to look at him. “I think it could be better,” I say, trying to hide my smile.
His head jerks back. “What could be better than a private tour of the hotel with sex by a fucking waterfall?”
He genuinely looks offended. I bite my lip to stop myself from laughing. “I’ve always wanted to see the Eiffel Tower.”
“The one in Vegas?” he says with an incredulous expression.
I nod with a grin.
“You’re kidding, right?” He grimaces.
“Can we see it?” What started as a joke now makes me want to do it just to see the look of disgust on his face.
“You know I can arrange to fly you to see the real one. We can be on the plane in half an hour,” he says deadpan, like it is nothing.
“You’re kidding, right?”
“Just say the word.”
Even with so much luxury around me, it still blows my mind at Kade’s wealth. The offer sounds tempting, but I decline. “You can’t come to Las Vegas and not see the Eiffel Tower.”
“Sure, you can. People do it all the time.”
I pull a faux disappointed expression.
“You really want to see it? It’s getting late. If you want to make it back so you can make it to church, we’ll have to leave soon.”
What I really want to do is have him take me to his hotel suite and have a repeat of what we just did. But I feel I need time to recover. Not so much my body, but my mind.
“Yes, I want to see it. I’ll call my father first thing in the morning and tell him I won’t make it to church.” When I stare at him with what I’m hoping is a cute, pleading expression, he lets out a long sigh.
“Fine, let’s go see the Eiffel Tower. But don’t tell me you want a gondola ride like you’re in fucking Venice because the answer is no.”
I giggle. For someone who likes to act tough, he really is soft on the inside.
