Chapter 29
I’m going through all the items I have in my office, that pertain to the Di Marco’s trying to piece together how this would have been missed when Angelo comes barging in with his nostrils flaring. “Boss, Joseph thinks he found something.”
I can feel my teeth practically crack in half with how hard I grind my jaw. “Speak. Now.”
He places his phone on my table, presses the speaker icon and Isabella’s voice filters through the room. “My father was dumber than any of us thought but also smart for keeping all of the emails, documents, or anything to cover his own ass with his deals.”
My blood is boiling and I’m barely keeping it together with my wife missing. “Mini Costa, you have three seconds.”
“According to what I have found on dear old dad’s computer, seems that he has been working with the Di Marco’s on their new business adventure.
” I hear him clicking around. “My father bitched ever since the wedding how you never held up your end of the deal, he went to Eduardo about it. The emails here mention about a house near the south side of the city, and my guess is that’s where she might be.
Not going to lie, if I was trying to hide someone or something, that is what I would do. ”
The room feels like it’s spinning, my ears are ringing, and Joseph’s words start to sound muffled with each passing minute.
I blink my eyes, snapping back into reality.
“I want a tracker placed on Eduardo’s car because all know that sleazy mother fucker will take us right where we want him to take us.
He is almost if not worse than his son.” I reach behind my waistband of my pants, take my gun out, unclick the chamber open to check it’s full before shutting it closed.
“Eduardo is mine. Mine to kill for the final time.”
Neither of them argued because no one is getting in my way to kill Eduardo Di Marco like I did to his son.
A sly smile pulled from my lips at the thought of making his death a slow, drawn out and painful where he begs for me to stop.
I will never stop until I know he is six feet under the fucking ground.
