Epilogue
NATALIA
It had been two months since Dante and I brought down his father’s cartel, and I couldn’t believe how much our lives had changed. Ricardo Reyes was not in charge of the cartel, and Dante was a changed man, hell-bent on creating a legitimate empire that had nothing to do with his father’s criminal past.
And tonight, standing in the heart of his newest venture—a soon-to-open nightclub in South Beach—I could see the fire in his eyes. It wasn’t the dangerous, volatile flame that used to burn so fiercely within him, but a steady, unwavering passion that fueled his ambition.
“This place is going to be incredible, mi reina.” His voice was filled with excitement as he gave me a tour of the massive space that would soon become Miami’s hottest new nightclub.
I looked around, taking in the sleek, modern design, the state-of-the-art sound system, and the multiple dance floors that would soon be packed with guests. “I can’t wait to see it all come together,” I said. “Especially this dance floor.” I nudged him towards the center of the room, where a gleaming hardwood floor awaited the rhythmic stomps of salsa dancers.
Dante smiled, his eyes sparkling with mischief. “Oh, we can’t have a brand new club without breaking it in properly.” Before I could ask what he meant, he pulled out his phone and I watched as he opened an app. With a few taps on the screen, salsa music sprang to life and he took my hand in his, his fingers entwining with mine as he pulled me closer. “Dance with me?”
My pulse quickened, and a smile spread across my face as I stepped into his embrace. Our bodies moved in sync, our footsteps echoing across the empty club as we lost ourselves in the music. Dante’s lips brushed my ear, his breath hot against my skin as he whispered, “You’re breathtaking, mi amor.”
I leaned into him, my body fitting perfectly against his as we moved in perfect unison. “You’re not so bad yourself, Mr. Club Owner.” I flashed him a flirtatious smile, our eyes locking for a heated moment before we continued our dance.
As the final notes of the song echoed through the empty nightclub, Dante twirled me one last time, the movement sending a thrill racing through me. He pulled me into his grasp, his arms tightening around me in a possessive embrace. “Now, what did you have in mind for this dance floor, mi reina?” His voice was low and playful, his eyes glittering with desire.
I bit my lip, feeling a familiar warmth pool between my legs. “Well, I was thinking...” I paused, trailing my fingers up his chest, savoring the feeling of his heart thundering beneath my touch. “We could christen it properly.”
His eyes darkened. “Oh, really?”
I nodded, a mischievous smile playing on my lips. “Absolutely.”
Before he could respond, I felt the vibration of his phone buzzing in his pocket. He let out a soft curse, his hands lingering on my waist as he reluctantly reached for his phone. “Hold that thought, mi amor. It’s Marco. I’ll be right back.”
I pouted, but I knew better than to get in the way when it was business. “Fine, but hurry up,” I called out as he walked away, already immersed in conversation with his partner in crime—literally.
I took a moment to catch my breath, fanning myself with my hand as my heart rate slowly returned to normal. I scanned the room admiring the decor that fit flawlessly with Dante’s vision of an elite club. It was perfect. As I continued to take in the large club space, my eyes landed on a door marked “Staff Only.”
A smile curved my lips as an idea took shape in my mind. Why not take advantage of the club’s many features? I made my way towards the restricted area, feeling a familiar rush of adrenaline as I pushed open the door and stepped into the dimly lit hallway beyond.
At the end of the hall, I pushed open another door, stunned as I stepped into a luxurious VIP room.
The space was designed for ultimate privacy and indulgence, with plush couches, a fully stocked bar, and a flickering fireplace. I ran my fingers over the soft fabric of the couch, my mind already spinning with possibilities.
“Like what you see, mi reina?”
I whirled around at the sound of Dante’s voice, my heart hammering in my chest. “Very much so,” I said, my voice playful. “Especially these VIP rooms. They’re amazing.”
He chuckled, his eyes scanning the room as he took a step towards me. “They are quite something, aren’t they? But I think we can make them even better.”
My eyebrows shot up in surprise. “Oh?”
Dante nodded, his eyes glittering with mischief. “I was thinking we could add a few... enhancements.” He strode towards me, his hands reaching for the sash of my dress. “Perhaps a Saint Andrew’s cross over here, a bed over there...”
I laughed, heat spreading through my body as his fingers deftly untied the sash, letting my dress fall open to reveal my lace lingerie beneath. “Is that so?”
“Absolutely,” he purred, his lips brushing against my ear as his hands slid down my back. “But first, we should thoroughly test the... amenities.”
I shivered at the feel of his breath against my skin, a rush of desire coursing through me as his lips found mine in a searing kiss. My hands roamed his broad chest, and I could feel his heart pounding beneath my touch as his mouth devoured mine.
“Mr. Club Owner, I do believe you’re trying to take advantage of me,” I said between kisses, my lips curving into a teasing smile.
Dante pulled back, his eyes darkening as he took in the desire pooling in my eyes. “Only if you let me.”
I leaned in, my lips brushing his ear as I whispered, “Then I might just let you. But only if you promise to show me all the exclusive VIP perks.”
His eyes glinted with desire, his hands possessively roaming my body as he drew me closer. “I promise, mi amor. We’ll test every inch of this room until we get it just right.”
Our kisses grew more urgent, our bodies pressing together as we sank onto the plush couch, the cushions swallowing our moans as we lost ourselves in each other. The satin and velvet textures brushed against my skin, the flickering fire casting an amber glow over our flushed bodies.
And in that moment, as Dante’s hands explored my curves with eager fingers, I knew that no matter what challenges the future might hold, we would face them together, our love burning brightly to guide us through the darkness.
But for now, all I could think about was enjoying the perks of being with the club owner, especially those in the VIP rooms. Oh, the perks most definitely included Dante’s talented hands and mouth on me.
