5. Ravage Me #2
He squeezed, she began gliding over him, her soaked pussy giving way to his shaft.
“I like that you’re too big. I can feel you pushing my cunt open.
Forcing me to yield to you.” She began gliding faster, her groans making him moan.
She was on fire, with one speed. The faster she glided, the harder she ground against him.
He was all the way inside her, then almost out.
The intensity of her fucking had him racing toward another orgasm.
And then, she stopped, mid thrust, and arched her tits toward him.
“Make me come with your thumb.” She sucked his thumb, letting her saliva run down his digit, then she pressed it against her swollen clit.
He massaged it while her sultry gaze drilled into his.
And then she started moving again, her body gliding over his hardness. Faster and faster for her own pleasure until the orgasm tore through her, her cries piercing the silent night.
Her expression—utter ecstasy—triggered his orgasm. He loved making women come. Loved that he could bring them the ultimate pleasure. Yes, he had an oversized ego, but he gave as good as he took. He wasn’t playing for keeps. He was just playing.
Wasn’t he?
HALSTON
Halston shuddered through another mild-blowing orgasm, while hit after hit of dopamine sent her soaring through the stratosphere. He wasn’t doing much from a positions-standpoint. But from what she could tell, he shouldn’t have been doing anything.
He was easy on the eyes with the hard body of a god, and she was the free bird she’d been fantasizing about for over two-hundred and seventy days. She was screwing a Santini, but she had no idea which one… and at the moment… she didn’t care.
When he finished coming, she stilled on him. Peering down, she liked what she was seeing.
“I want you to fuck me from behind, but I don’t think your leg can handle that.”
A growl shot out of him, the gravelly sound sending a rush of desire through her. “I need to fuck you from behind.”
That made her smile.
“Next time,” he said.
“No. We’re not doing this again, so let’s figure out another position you can do and get down to biz’ness.”
“Sideways,” he said.
She pulled off, excused herself to the bathroom. Seconds later, he knocked on the door, stuck his head inside. “Can I clean up?”
“This is a hookup, not a date,” she said as she finished peeing. “How ‘bout some privacy?”
“Mi scusi, bella signora,” he said. Pardon me, beautiful lady.
She wondered what he’d think of her without the short wig, dark contacts, and Russian accent.
Would he think I’m pretty?
While washing her hands, she said, “Puoi entrare.” You can come in.
When he didn’t, she exited the bathroom to find him on his phone. Though his handsome face and granite-hard body had her pausing to check him out, what hijacked her attention was his ticking jaw, the coldness radiating from his dark eyes.
“Motherfuckers,” he bit out. “I’mma kill them.”
People said that but didn’t mean it. As she studied his squared shoulders, his narrowed gaze, she felt confident he did. Though she could have been scared—terrified even—she was not. The pull to be near him had her moving in his direction.
“Kill who?” she asked before she could filter herself.
He slid his gaze to her, the fury in his eyes softened. “Sto solo sparando cazzate. è tutto a posto.” I’m just talking trash. It’s all good.
She didn’t believe him.
“Mi dispiace,” he said. “Devo andare.” I’m sorry. I have to go.
“No problem.”
She shouldn’t have felt the sting of rejection. This was a No Name hookup. She agreed. She fully participated. She’d had fun. She just didn’t think he’d bolt so soon after. Rather than let it get her down, she shrugged into a plush hotel robe.
“You can stay,” he said as he tugged on his boxer briefs.
She said nothing.
“I’ve got the room all night.”
Again, she stayed silent.
“Did I take care of you?”
She nodded.
As he walked to the door, she asked, “What’s your first name?”
“Gabriel,” he replied before he opened the door. “Buona notte, No Name.” Goodnight, No Name.
He exited, the door shut behind him.
Oh, no. What have I done?
She dressed, slid on her James Bond eyewear, and returned to her penthouse suite.
Using the burner from Evangeline, she Googled his name.
Pictures of the man she’d just been with exploded on the page.
She clicked on an article about the self-made multi-millionaire, her gaze stilling on a picture of him inside his stunning Italian villa.
Oh, boy.
If the embassy had been tailing her, and they saw her with her mark, they would fire her… or worse. She of all people knew their leadership went unchecked.
They can make me vanish without a trace.
As her imagination spiraled, she remembered the chip in her neck. A few deep breaths and she regained her composure.
Night one and she’d already slept with the enemy.
He’s an enemy of Russia. He’s not my enemy.
Even so, she’d acted brashly. Going forward, she’d behave better.
No more hookups, especially not with Gabriel Santini.
GAbrIEL
At quarter past two in the morning, Gabriel drove into the parking lot of the family restaurant, cut the engine.
Other than Teddy’s truck parked nearby, the lot was empty.
After checking for a tail or another ambush, he made his way to the front door, keyed his way inside.
The main dining room of Santini Ristorante was dark, but light shone from the back office.
“Teddy,” Gabriel called out.
Teddy stepped into the hallway, his gun by his side. “Did you check for a shadow?”
“All good.”
“How you holding up?” Teddy asked as he pulled Gabriel in for a hug. “You okay?”
Gabriel slapped him on the back. “Good enough to get laid.”
Teddy couldn’t hide his surprise. “You got hella stamina. Did you rip your stitches?”
“She went easy on me.”
The brothers entered the manager’s office. Gabriel’s CANiK pistol waited on the desk. As he pulled a guest chair around, he asked, “Whad’ya find?”
Teddy sank into the executive chair, turned his laptop so Gabriel could see it. Of all the Santinis, Teddy was the most dependable. He was also the most competitive. Bulked out, he wore his blond hair long and his heart on his sleeve. A loyal brother and close friend.
“The four men who attacked you are Bratva, and they’re from around here,” Teddy said. “The one you took out—”
“Motherfucker number one,” Gabriel interjected.
“He’s got strong ties in Moscow. The other three” —Teddy pulled up the video from the night of the ambush— “they’re all related to the Bratva we gunned down last month. Brothers or cousins, so they won’t stop until they take you out.”
Gabriel smiled. “Bring it on.”
“You’re gonna need an army… and you need to keep a low profile.” Teddy drained his water glass.
Gabriel pushed out of the chair. “My leg’s on fire. I’m gonna grab me a water. Got any painkillers?”
“The doc prescribed you something—”
“I didn’t take any.” Gabriel opened the desk drawer, pulled out the Tylenol. With two in hand, he headed out of the office. Seconds later, Teddy pulled up alongside him. “You’re limping.”
“I just said my leg hurts.”
Teddy hopped over the bar, handed him a bottle of water.
Gabriel took the meds, drained the water. “You take good care of us, fratello.”
“That’s my job.”
“Shoulda been Mom,” Gabriel said.
“Yeah, we’ve hashed that to death.”
“You’re getting a good mother-in-law,” Gabriel said as he eased onto a barstool.
Teddy’s face lit up. “Yeah, Kathrine and Mark Austin are great.” After a beat he said, “You gotta go into hiding, G.”
Anger ticked through him. He never ran. He didn’t hide either. Of all the Santinis—including their cousin Carrera—Gabriel was the Agitator. He incited chaos, lived for it.
“I’m the one who hung with Dad and Uncle Enzo,” Gabriel said. “I saw all the insanity, up close and personal.”
“Fuck Enzo,” Teddy bit out. “Dad would still be here—”
“Well, he’s not, but we got each other.” Gabriel tossed a nod behind the bar. “Get me another water.”
Teddy set a bottle on the bar. Gabriel twisted the lid, downed half. “I’ve never been shot before. Been stabbed, never shot.”
“Which is worse?” Teddy asked.
Gabriel paused. “Pain is pain, you know?” He raked his hands through his hair.
“Luciano said he’s taking over Santini International, so you gotta run Santini Euro,” Teddy said, bringing them back on point. “Who’s running the wineries?”
“Grapes grow,” Gabriel said. “It’s not like I sit there watching ‘em.”
The brothers started laughing.
“I’m staying, Teddy,” Gabriel said. “I know I told Sin I’m outta here, but I—”
“If you leave, the Bratva will follow you.”
What the fuck.
“This doesn’t feel like brotherly love,” Gabriel pushed back.
“G—”
Gabriel pushed off the stool and waved Teddy off. “Thanks for pulling the video. Everything happened so fast, I didn’t have faces or names. Now, I got both.”
Teddy strode over. “Don’t do this, G.”
“Help me, don’t help me.” Gabriel pulled to a stop in the middle of the dark restaurant.
“I got a job to do. G-pa dominated a huge region in Italy, then it went to hell when he died. I took back our turf and I run it like a Boss. We’re Sicilian.
Cosa Nostra is in my blood. I managed the restaurant for you, Theodore.
That’s what we do. We got each other’s backs. ”
Frustration sent another jolt of energy thundering through him.
So much for the sex high.
Teddy was still talking when Gabriel returned to the office, collected his gun.
As the anger took hold, he made his way to the front of the restaurant. “Lock the door behind me.”
Into the December night Gabriel went. It was dark, it was cold, but he was burning up. The fury flowed through him like a raging river. Always had. And he used that emotion to his advantage.
He got into his Ferrari, hid his weapon in the center console, and drove out. No matter what, Gabriel could count on Angelo. While Moretti wasn’t blood, he was as much a brother as his biological ones… and hella more loyal. Angelo was Gabriel’s underboss—his second in command—and a damn good one.
