Chapter 1 - Rael #2

“You underestimate me.” Her gaze turned provocative, heavy with desire.

“Fuck,” Rael groaned, his forehead dropping to hers when she wrapped her hand around his cock and squeezed tightly.

She looked into his eyes as she lined him up, and Rael clenched his jaw, holding on to her hips tightly before thrusting into her, taking her hard and deep.

“Fucking unreal,” he growls. “You feel so fucking good.” Her hands wrapped into his hair, and she gripped it tightly, her touch betraying her desperation.

It was crazy how fucking perfect she was.

“Look,” Rael murmured, pulling back a little to glance down between them.

“Look how well you’re taking my cock, Alanis.

” She watched as he pulled out almost all the way and then pushed back into her slowly, making his cock disappear into her inch by delicious fucking inch.

“More,” she whispered, her gaze pleading.

“So much for that smart mouth of yours.” He grinned as he pushed his thumb against her clit.

“You want this?” Rael asked, rubbing circles around it as he continued to fuck her slowly, not giving her what she wanted. “This cock is only for good girls, Alanis. Are you going to be good for me tonight?”

“Oh god...” Her eyes rolled to the back of her head, her moans filling the room.

“Not God. Me. Now,” he picked up the pace, his balls slapping against her ass, wet and obscene sounds filling the room. “Will you be a good girl for me?”

“Fuck, I’ll be good,” she whimpered. “I’ll be your good girl.”

Rael swiped his thumb over her clit, his touch light, teasing. “Who do you belong to tonight?”

“You,” she instantly replied, and he rewarded her with another brush of his thumb, slowly bringing her closer.

“Fuck,” Rael grunted, leaned in and took those pretty lips of hers, and she kissed him hard, her tongue tangling with his, tasting what’s left of the tequila they had.

“You’re so fucking sexy,” Rael whispered as he finally gave her what she wanted, his hips moving faster, harder. “Like you were made for me.”

Alanis’ eyes widened as Rael repeatedly took her to the edge, and then, like fucking magic, her pussy clenched around him.

“Yes,” she moaned, “oh god, yes.” Rael dropped his forehead to hers as she milked him for all he was worth, his own moans swiftly becoming uncontrollable as he filled her up deep inside. Her lips found his, and she kissed him as they both came down from their high.

“Ethereal,” Rael softly whispered. “That’s what you are, Alanis.”

Alanis exhaled shakily and watched as Rael pulled out of her.

Then, he placed his fingers against her dripping pussy, looking her in the eye as he pushed his cum back into her.

“I hope you’re not tired.” His hand sneaked to her ass, grabbing a handful, kneading it softly. “Because I’m nowhere done with you.”

***

Rael couldn’t sleep. Usually, this wouldn’t worry him.

He usually had a rough time falling asleep, but he normally ended up sleeping around 3am and woke up by 6am.

That was his routine, not a healthy one, but a routine, nonetheless.

But it was 6:30 am, and Rael still hadn’t been able to get any sleep.

He had a feeling it was because of the dark-haired woman lying next to him, sound asleep.

The sex was.... mind-blowing to say the least. They fucked at least three more times in the middle of the night, which was the first mistake he made.

He never slept over. He always made sure to leave hotel rooms once they were done.

But things were different this time. He felt different.

It sounded crazy in his head, but a deeper, smaller part of Rael thought the human lying next to him was his mate.

His wolf was even more active than usual last night.

His brother, Silas, has a human mate after all. It could happen to him, too.

He glanced down at Alanis’ face, noting how her lips had something like a permanent pout to them.

He noticed the tiny mole in the corner of her lips, and he noticed the light stretch marks on her shoulders.

She was beautiful, but she was also human.

She would surely look at him like he was crazy if he mentioned anything about mates.

“Mhmm,” a groan escaped her lips as she stirred on the bed. One of her eyes popped open, catching him staring at her. “Oh-kay, not creepy at all.”

“What happened last night was a one-time thing,” Rael blurted. “It cannot happen again.”

Alanis scoffed, shaking her head. “And you are telling me this now? At what…?” She glanced at the bedside table. “Six fucking fifty in the morning? When I’m barely awake. Wow, such a gentleman.”

Inhaling deeply, Rael moved the sheets and sat on the edge of the bed, turning his back to her. “Look, I know—”

“Save it,” her voice sounded clipped as she got off the bed. Rael heard some rustling and turned around to see her putting her clothes on. “No, wait. I’ll go.”

Ignoring him, she picked up her key card from the nightstand. “I have somewhere to be. Guess you’ll be gone before I get back.”

“Alanis—”

Bang! The door slammed behind her, leaving Rael feeling a rush of mixed emotions. This was not how he wanted it to go. He had a plan. He wanted to do this in a different way.

He sighed, thrust his hand into his hair, and clutched his head. Perhaps, this was a good thing. He had the upcoming auction to focus on. He could not afford to be distracted by anything or anyone.

Ignoring his wolf’s restlessness, Rael told himself it was the right call. It had to be, or he just lost one of the best things that had ever happened to him.
