Alex Stern has crossed into hell more than once, yet this time the way back did not close behind her.

Demons now move through New Haven and across the Yale campus, feeding on living souls and terrifying the dead, and though Alex and her allies can hunt them, the gates of the underworld will not stay shut for long.
