Epilogue

Liam

They say a hunter always knows how to recognize their prey.

And it's true.

You would think it would be different when your prey is a human being...

But it's not.

It's actually pretty much the same.

Humans turn into animals when they're being hunted.

Every woman we chased through a dark, abandoned place, forced to run for her life, did the same things to survive.

They ran.

They screamed.

They tried to bargain.

And eventually, they died.

Except her.

She wrapped all three of us around her fingers instead,

pulled us into her web,

and trapped us like flies.

And now?

The prey has become one of the hunters, and the rules have changed.

But if you asked me, dear reader, if I would do anything differently...

I would have laughed in your face.

Because everything happens for a reason.

Even the trauma.

The pain.

The blood.

All of it was a part of our story.

All of it was a part of her story too.

Designed to bring us together.

Because that's simply how it is for some people.

You belong together.
