Chapter 22

Chapter Twenty-Two

ALEKSANDR

The Yates’ Estate

I grinned, sliding into my car as I recalled the text conversation with Lenochka still fresh in my head.

Pulling up the video feeds inside the house, I checked on Mishka again, letting out a relieved breath when I saw Cameron and Kellan entertaining him.

Shifting my car into reverse I thought about how my presence at their meeting would go, curious which one of her friends would attempt to remove me from the house.

Lenochka should’ve known by now that those boys she surrounded herself with were no threat to me, even if it was fun to make her sweat a little, needlessly worrying about the Kenton brothers and the heir of the Remington fortune, Ellery.

Arriving at the gated drive, I braked, stalling just long enough that the security camera and motion sensors could read my plates and allow me entry onto the estate.

Their high-tech security system noted every car that pulled into the ostentatious circular drive.

A sleek blue sports car decaled with the Vancouver Killers hockey team logo sat in the front, the vehicle no doubt belonging to the Kentons—Lexington and Wentworth.

A mud-covered SUV with no doors was off to the side with its top down.

The off-road wheels belonged to the little vonBermere heir.

It was always shocking to see the car she picked to drive.

Ellery’s obnoxiously bright yellow hot-rod was last, decked out with every bell and whistle one could have, rounding out the collection of cars at her house today.

No doubt this was the one that belonged to Ellery, the boy who tried to repel his familial obligations at every turn.

Taking my knife, I popped his back tire, just enough that the slow leak of air would make him realise something was amiss but not logically tie it to me.

I debated doing the same to the Kentons’ car, but Wentworth would probably notice before they could even leave, and Lenochka would undoubtedly piece together that it had been me.

Chuckling, I continued up the drive and made my way around the side of the mansion, stopping at the hidden panel on the side and punching in the code that Lenochka had only shown to me, a way that I would be able to reach her in times of emergency.

Stalking into the fray, raised voices met my sudden appearance as four shocked pairs of eyes swung my way.

No doubt, they never actually expected to see me, let alone meet me, given that I knew Lenochka loved to try to deny her time spent with me.

Eyes bounced between my casual attire and Lenochka’s rapidly angering face.

Ellery’s eyes spotted the dark purple teeth marks just beneath the collar of her shirt as his gaze swung back to me, zeroing in on the hickey Lenochka had gifted me.

A wicked smirk danced across his lips as he opened his mouth, no doubt about to say something that would cause Lenochka to blow a gasket.

“Having a party without me, Printsessa? You wound me.” Grinning, I walked over to where she was sitting at the head of the group.

Grabbing her arms, I lifted her, lowering myself to sit in the chair she viewed as an unofficial throne and adjusting her across my lap so her toned arse landed directly over my erection that would make this less than enthused introduction awkward for everyone.

The only thrones she would need from now on would be me and the one I would sit on as I took my birthright by the chains next year.

Banding my arms around her, I rested my head on her shoulder, attempting a grin at the faces staring at me.

It came across more like a show of possession as my lip curled and I bared my teeth, a claim for them to know she belonged to me.

Mine.

A satisfied rumble worked its way up my chest as she refrained from fighting me and relaxed back against my chest instead.

“What’re you up to, Printsessa? And why’d you think you’d be able to hide it from me?

” I whispered as my free hand slid up her thighs and slipped between her legs.

A dark groan left my throat when I learned she had been telling the truth about ‘forgetting’ her panties, my fingers playing with her hot bundle of nerves as they felt how her pussy was already dripping for me.

I continued the slow teasing, making sure I kept my voice and what I was doing to her quiet enough that only she could hear.

Slipping a finger inside, I dragged it through her wet heat, curling it just enough that her arse ground against me.

“Bad Printsessa, why do you always revel in tempting my beast?”

Snapping her legs closed, Lenochka locked my hand between her thighs and my fingers in her cunt as she tried and failed to glare at me.

“We were discussing what Trial Three might be, you over possessive arsehat.” Voice calm and laced with sass, she attempted to sound unaffected so the others surrounding us wouldn’t figure out how aroused she had gotten from being edged like this, how her slick juices were already dripping down her legs for me.

“Do you have anything useful, Aleks? Anything big I can use?”

A devious light flashed in her eyes as she wiggled back in my lap, rubbing her arse over my cock, my shaft already angry and hard as steel in my slacks.

“Anything hard to see?” Her cheeky teasing lit a fire within me as Lexington’s nostrils flared when he caught onto the innuendos she was throwing at me, his face turning a pale red as his eyes became slits and he tried to intimidate me.

“We are trying to work here. If you can't behave, you can leave. It’s obvious that you’re unable to control your possessive need to constantly shove your cock or fingers inside her.”

A surprised inhale left Lenochka as she attempted to hide a giggle in my shoulder. Looking up and catching Lexington’s gaze, I gave him a genuine grin, shocking him so much that his jaw dropped, realising too late that he had walked into a trap of his own making.

“I believe it’s your Little Queen who’s never able to get enough of my thick, hard cock inside her soaking cunt.

Not that I would ever deny my Printsessa anything she needs…

” I trailed off, breaking eye contact and burying my face in Lenochka’s neck, silently laughing at how easy it was to rile up the boys Lenochka surrounded herself with.

She slapped my arms, signalling it was time for me to clue her in on why I was here, even if I wasn’t excited about seeing her face fall and wished I had brought better news instead.

Gritting my teeth, I relaxed my hold on her as I lifted my head, catching the eyes of each person around the table, stopping when I locked eyes with wary amber coloured ones.

Distrustful eyes told me the little hacker knew more than she had told her friends, her so-called family.

Little Lilah vonBermere roughly swallowed as it dawned on her what I was about to say.

“The Third Trial…is not something you will be able to plan for. It’s meant to test your honour.

Your loyalty. It will be something that pushes one of you to the edge of your sanity.

” I moved my gaze from Lilah to Wentworth, tipping my chin in a barely there nod.

His eyes widened, knowing I was telling him his guess was right, that the next trial was for him.

“As I’m sure Lenochka has told you by now…

” Pausing, I shot a glare at the vonBermere heir who held the secrets of these four in her tiny, traitorous hands.

“The secrets you revealed were meant to push you apart or cement you closer as family. This trial is not meant to do that. It’s meant for you to see that underneath it all, humans are weak. ”

“How do you know this, dickface?” Ellery spat at me, suspicion lining his features as he noted the way Lilah and I had been in a stare-off for the past minute. “How can we trust this motherfucker, Audrey? He could be using yo—”

My fist pounding the table swiftly cut him off.

“Aleks has more to lose by being here than we do. The Guilda Sanguis Venenati hangs its betrayers,” Lenochka replied calmly.

Her hand covered my fist, trying to stop me from reaching across the table and strangling the little cunt who dared to think I would ever purposely put my Printsessa in danger.

“He’s drawing a line in the sand by showing his face here today.

I trust him. With my life.” And my heart was the silent promise she didn’t voice at the end.

“Dude, how the fuck are you still alive?” Lexington interrupted, cutting the tension surrounding the table. “He could quite literally make you cease to exist, Ellery. Do you never learn?”

Ellery crossed his arms, pouting when he saw that he would not win this fight, that he was proven wrong. “I’m just saying it’s odd that the bastard finally showed his face.”

“I didn’t come here for you. I came for her.” My abrupt reply led to scattered laughter from the Kenton brothers, as they grinned in that eerie fashion only they could do.

“We bet you did. Not like she can barely walk today anyway.” Chortling, Lexington made heart eyes at his brother. “Oh, Aleks, rail me harder, fill me up. Fill me up with your seed,” he said, adopting a falsetto in his voice.

And now it was my turn to hold Lenochka back as she attempted to launch across the table, shooting daggers at the two brothers who always knew exactly what the group needed. In a rare moment of joking, Wentworth joined in with his brother’s razzing.

“Fuck me, King! Break me so no one else can ever touch me.” As one the brothers stood, thrusting their hips crudely before they both fell to the ground in fits of laughter, oblivious to the steam practically pouring out of Lenochka’s ears.

“Can we get back to why we’re all here today?

” Lilah’s soft voice interrupted the madness, blanketing the room in silence.

She so rarely showed that backbone of hers that it was shocking that the girl who was commonly overlooked, was the one who brought everyone back to the topic needing to be discussed. “I believe Aleks had more to say…”

Nodding my head, I picked up where I left off. “Wentworth is next. I cannot tell you what the trial will be but based on who the new head of The Guilda is, I would expect it to be something that tests even the strongest of boundaries.”

“Be ready for you to have to make a choice. One that may have lasting consequences to your deepest goals or dreams.” Across from me, Wentworth paled.

No doubt he had figured out the likely outcome this trial may demand of him.

“I am sorry. You may be the only one who doesn’t deserve to be a part of this. ”

My final parting statement sent ripples of shock around the table.

No one expected the Volkovitch heir to offer apology or understanding so freely.

Done with this conversation, I stood, bringing Lenochka with me so she could stand at my side.

Turning my head, I warned her friends, who all looked at us with knowing gleams.

“You have five minutes to head out or be prepared to hear how your Little Queen screams her heart out for me.”

Giving her arse a hard slap, I grabbed her hand, tugging her along behind me, as I navigated us out of the room and up the stairs. Stopping at her bedroom door, the one room she had only ever shared with me. And one room she only ever will…

“I hope you don’t have plans today, Printsessa…the rest of the day will be spent with me. Earning my forgiveness for daring to threaten you would ever show your pretty little cunt to someone who isn’t me.”

Smacking her arse again, I pushed her door open, spinning her around and roughly claiming her mouth.

Breaking the kiss, I stared at the beautiful woman who was always meant to be mine, the edges of my anger softening.

Lenochka’s eyes seared into mine as a rare smile graced her lips, sending warmth into my chest as I saw her finally cede control to me.

“Do your worst, Aleks. You’ll forever be my King. ”

Letting go completely, I smirked down at her. “Don’t you know by now, Printsessa? You can be such a bad girl when you dare to tempt me.”
