Chapter 13 Green
Green
Ismile, pulling her into my lap, knowing she’ll make us work for it and enjoying every minute of it. "Then let me try."
I take a different track. I’m gentle with her, stroking up her legs and down her back as I slowly slip the crushed red dress off her shoulders. My eyes dip down to take her in and I lean closer brushing my lips over her cheek to her ear.
“You’re so fucking beautiful. I could just stare and stroke you all damn night. But you’re so much more than just that. I love how fierce and sassy you are. How fucking smart and savvy your brain is.”
She trembles against me and I know I’m getting through to her, past her defenses so I keep pushing. I tilt her chin up so she’s forced to meet my eyes with those gorgeous green blue ones of hers.
“I wanted you, was so fucking hot for you but then I caught a peek of something even more attractive that made me, all of us, want you in a different way too. Baby…Demi…we know you gave away most of the money you stole.”
She flinches in my lap when I say her real name and then tries to push off of me in shock when I tell her we know her secret but I wrap my arms around her like steel bands so she can’t move any further.
“We saw your heart, Demi, and it made us fall a little bit more for you. We want you to be ours, Blue," I whisper. "Let us in. We will make you stronger. You don’t have to do this alone."
Her body shudders in my arms and I slide my hands up to cup her cheeks, staring into her panicked eyes.
“We’re the same inside, Demi. We’re just different fonts on the outside. You won the game, sweetheart. Let us be your prize.”
And then I kiss her with all the feelings inside me. Soft and gentle and achingly filled with how much I want her to complete us.
