Chapter 25
Delilah
Matteo is finally able to pull out of me as Dean walks in, smiling. He walks over to the bed, grabs a folded blanket, and then hands it to me as I rise from the floor.
“Thank you,” I say sheepishly, and Dean shakes his head.
“Don’t be shy with me, Delilah. You’re my mate, and I plan to explore every inch of that delicious body.” Dean’s lust-filled words make me blush.
Coal clears his throat, and I look up, but then back to the floor. Matteo is lying on the ground, sound asleep and butt naked. I giggle at the sight, and Dean rolls his eyes before tossing a blanket over Matteo's lower half.
I look back up to see Coal standing by the door, but he won’t look at me.
“I’m going to go check on Quil,” Coal says, before spinning around and disappearing out the door.
I sigh heavily.
“Hey, it’s okay,” Dean soothes me, as he wraps his arms around my waist and licks the spot on my neck where Matteo just marked me. I shiver a little and then laugh.
“Jeez, is this normal? I just finished with him, and my body is already ready to go again with you,” I exclaim, leaning back into Dean's touch.
“Yeah, for a Luna, increased sex drive is very normal. You have four mates, and your body is more than capable of accommodating us.” Dean nips my earlobe, and I bite my lip, drop the blanket, and spin in his arms.
“Is that so?” I tease, but Dean groans.
“I’m probably going to spend the rest of the day hating myself for saying this, but you need to go after those two idiots.” Dean’s forehead drops to mine as his eyes squeeze shut. “Tempting as your intoxicating scent is, I can sense their pain.”
I rub my chest with the palm of my hand and nod. “So can I,” I admit, even though Quil tried to shut me out. He’s projecting it like a siren right now, though.
“Not good enough, never good enough…” is whispered through the bond, and I don’t think Quil meant for me to hear that. “…just a Beta. She deserves better… not worthy…”
“Jeez,” I groan, as his self-hatred makes my heart ache. His fucking piece of shit father is no doubt responsible for this.
“Go, I’ll give you my knot when you return, mate.” Dean’s words instantly make me wet for him, and he groans again. “Go, Delilah. Before I change my mind, and I pin you to that bed and have my way with you.”
“Ugh!” I reluctantly pull away from Dean, grab Matteo’s shirt off the ground, and pull it over my head. It lands mid-thigh and is good enough. I’m only going to be gone long enough to drag the other two back to this tent.
I stomp out, following the trail of their scents, and debate on spanking them both when I find them. Bend them over like they did to me. That mental visual makes me snort.
I reach the edge of the forest and hear a loud snap.
That was definitely a branch breaking off a tree.
I follow the sounds of grunts and crashing, and find Coal standing back, watching as Quil loses his shit.
He’s shirtless and sweating as he lifts objects the size of my body and tosses them around the forest. When he shouts in anger and slams his fist into the trunk of a nearby tree several times, I flinch.
“She claimed you, Quil. She wouldn’t have done that if she thought you were unworthy…” Coal tries to calm his best friend, but it’s no use. He’s too upset. Too out of control. Did my teasing him earlier make this worse?
“If you think I deserve better, then be better,” I say loudly, as I step into their view. Quil was so upset he hadn’t even realized I was near, but Coal doesn’t seem surprised to see me.
“You regret your decision to mate with me. I heard your thoughts,” he grumbles, looking away from me. “I felt your pain. The pain we caused. How are we ever supposed to make up for that…” Quil starts to step away, but I growl, making him pause.
“Is that how you treat your Luna?” I ask. “You walk away from your mate when you know she needs you?” Quil pauses, turning back to me, with wide eyes.
“I don’t deserve to be your mate. I don’t deserve to touch you,” he growls, and I shake my head.
“So, what are you going to do to make it up to me? What are you going to do to prove to me that I didn’t make a mistake when I claimed you?” I ask, and his eyes light up with hope. He takes slow steps toward me as he answers.
“I will give my life, if necessary, to keep you and those you love safe. I will rip out the throats of anyone who dares to harm you. I will never do anything to ever hurt you again, and I will spend my days showing you just how sorry I am. Loving you, worshiping you, worshiping your body.”
His words steal my breath and are more than I could have hoped for. He wants more than just my body.
“So much more, my Queen, my Luna.”
Quil finally reaches me and pulls me in for a gentle kiss.
I bite his lip, so he knows I want everything he’s going to give me.
When he pulls back, his eyes are filled with so much love, and I almost break right there and launch myself at him.
Almost. I have one more mate to tame. I can feel the envy radiating off of Coal in waves.
He wants to hold me the way Quil is, but he also wants Quil. I can feel both of their fears.
“And you?” I ask, turning to Coal, who hasn’t moved any closer. He looks surprised for a moment and then shakes his head.
“If there’s anyone on this earth that doesn’t deserve you, it’s me, flower.
” He crosses his arms over his chest and leans against the tree he’s standing next to.
“I gave you the mate mark without asking you. I risked your life without knowing if you’d survive.
You didn’t choose me.” His last words are a whisper, and I nod.
“That’s all true. I didn’t choose you.” Coal closes his eyes, and I feel spikes of pain through the bond and rub my chest. Quil releases me, pushing me toward Coal.
I grab Quil’s hand and pull him with me.
We’ve got a few things to settle between the three of us.
“But you’re mine all the same. So, are you going to do something about that, or are you going to keep standing there like a fool?
” I challenge, and when he opens his eyes, they’re glowing blue.
“Fuck, flower…”
“Well, what’s it going to be? Are you coming back to the tent?
” I smile, blushing a bit with my next words.
“I want the others to watch you fuck me while Quil takes your ass.” They both gasp, and I take a few more steps toward Coal, dragging Quil with me.
“You don’t have to hide anymore. No one will ever hurt either of you again. I won’t let them.”
The look in Coal’s eyes is enough to break my heart. The relief, as he realizes that the people he loves are safe, but not only that, so is he.
“No more scars,” Quil tells us both through the bond, and Coal’s blue eyes fill with tears.
“Never again,” I vow.
We walk back to the tent in silence, and it feels like this heavy weight has been lifted from my heart. I don’t know what would have happened to me if Coal hadn’t risked everything for me.
The ache between my legs is getting stronger, and I want to lock my men in the tent and take advantage of them until the sun rises, but I do need some answers first.
“Glad you didn’t need me to tie them up for you, beautiful,” Dean says with a wink, as the three of us enter the tent.
Matteo is lying in the large bed, no longer sleeping, and as soon as I step inside, I realize the scent of our cum is heavy in the air. Quil and Coal groan, and I notice Dean is hard, as he moves around the small table that's off to the side.
“You could still tie them up for me.” My voice is husky as I bite my lip, thinking about the three of us…
“Focus,” Quil scolds, walking past me and spanking my ass. Yeah, that doesn’t help.
Coal with his hands tied behind his back, bent over the edge of the bed, taking Quil’s dick from behind, as Dean eats me out on the bed next to them, Matteo’s dick in my mouth…
The visual flashes through my mind, and I project it to all four of them.
Quil stumbles in front of me, nearly falling, and I giggle.
“You fight dirty, Luna,” Matteo teases, and I smile brightly.
“I know.”
“Two can play that game,” Coal whispers in my ear. He sends me a visual of me riding Dean’s dick, as Quil fucks my ass, and Coal pounds into Quil, Matteo’s dick in my mouth.
“Why is my dick only ever in her mouth?” Matteo pouts, making the others chuckle; but my body is flushed, and I know my wetness is dripping between my thighs.
“Someone dump a bucket of cold water over our girl so we can talk.” Dean laughs when I scowl.
“Or we go with Coal’s last idea, and then talk?”
“No, because I have a feeling once we start, we won’t stop, and this conversation is important.” Dean points to a pile of pillows he arranged on the floor, clearly wanting me to go sit. I pout, making Quil laugh.
“Come on, I’ll sit with you.” I perk up. “To make sure you behave,” Quil adds, and I pout again.
“Fine.” I stomp over, but Quil sits first, pulling me into his lap. He leans back against the tent post, and I lean back into him, as he caresses my arms that I crossed over my chest.
“You’re cute when you pout.” Dean winks, reminding me of that first morning after I became his Avowed. My, how things have changed.
“Hurry up,” Quil snaps, and I smile, nodding in agreement with my grumpy Wolf.
“I’ll start,” Coal says, as he grabs a pillow and sits down in front of me, much too far away.
“The day you turned eighteen, Quil and I left. We both thought you’d tell my father what you saw to get rid of us.
We knew no matter what we said, you’d think we were lying just to save ourselves, so when Quil took off into the woods, I followed him. ”
“That's why you were gone so long?” I ask, and Coal nods.
“Yes. I ended up running into their territory by accident, and Nero was understanding and kind. It fucking confused us, because we were so used to Michael being a raging dick,” Quil says, growing tense behind me.
I immediately grab his hand, holding it in both of mine, and caress his palm to soothe him.
“It felt like a gift from the goddess. A way to save everyone. But we were still too young and not strong enough to fight my father. Not to mention no backup already on pack lands. Anyway, when my father came up with the idea for the Academy, I knew that was our chance. Nero wasn’t welcome, because his pack is Rogue, but the week before school started I met with Nero.
” Coal pauses, letting me take in his words for a moment.
“I told him to set up a meeting with my father for tomorrow. The day after the first pack meeting. I knew there would be enough Alpha's sons here to keep my father mostly in line. I wasn’t prepared for Dean or Matteo, but it ended up working out since they are the only reason we got out of that room alive.”
Quil is shaking, and I hate the fear I can feel through the bond. I snuggle into him, and he relaxes just a bit.
“I had planned to take you to the Rogues after the meeting, but I didn’t know I’d be-”
“Biting me?” I offer when he pauses.
“Right. My father claiming you was unexpected. You were never supposed to be at the meeting, but I knew if you weren’t, Michael might have someone else retrieve you, and I couldn’t let you out of my sight.”
“When did you know about my Dormant Wolf?” I ask, and Coal goes on.
“The day I met with Nero before school. Your father is his Beta, and so when he asked about a Human girl named Delilah… I-”
“What he’s trying to say is Coal freaked the fuck out and tried to kill your father.
We had never told Nero the name of the girl we wanted to save, and when Daniel claimed her mother was once his Avowed, Coal went into full-on murder mode.
Thankfully, Nero knew the truth, calmed Coal down without killing him, and told us the truth,” Quil says with a smile in his voice.
“I did. But I assumed the worst. I didn’t know what would happen when I bit you, but I would do it again if it meant keeping you out of Michael’s reach,” Coal growls.
“How romantic,” I tease, and he rolls his eyes, but I can see the tension in his shoulders. He had been terrified.
“I had been planning to get you out of there the whole time, but my father has eyes on me at all times. Wolves who enjoy harming Humans,” Coal whispers, and I nod.
“Jessica,” I add, and he nods.
“Yes.”
We’re quiet for a moment, and then Dean brings us all small plates of food, winking at me.
“You’ll need your energy,” he says, and I can’t help but smile. Then he turns to Coal, as Matteo and Dean both sit near us on the floor.
“I met Delilah when I was ten. Back when my father came here all the fucking time to visit yours,” Matteo says, looking down at his food.
“He’s not a bad guy, not really. He was just trying to establish peace and thought the only way was to get close to Michael.
My father had been one of the first ones Michael had spoken to about the Academy.
” The look on Matteo’s face is grim. “He wanted more women. Young women, who were easily accessible. Wolves and Humans alike. If I hadn’t known it would get me close to Delilah again, I would have refused to attend.
Knowing Michael’s true intentions.” Matteo looks more bothered by the moment. My sweet Wolf.
“How do you know, Dean?” Quil asks.
“Our fathers have been friends since we were young. Their alliance is long-standing. Dean’s father is a bit less tolerant of Michael, as we all know.
When I asked him to help me with Delilah, he didn’t even have to think about the answer.
Our plan wasn’t exactly a very good one, I’ll admit.
I just knew I needed to get here, have Dean claim Delilah as his Avowed, and go from there.
I thought if he claimed her, and then said fuck this shit and dropped out of the Academy, Michael wouldn’t say shit since their packs don’t have any kind of loyalty between them,” Matteo tells us, and I smile softly.
They were all doing more than I knew to protect me. I was never as alone as I believed.
“Tomorrow, Nero is meeting with Michael by the river. Michael thinks the meeting is about Nero demanding a place for his young Wolves at the Academy, but in reality, we’re going to ambush my father and then kill him.
Nero is bait, in a way, but he’s not worried.
He’s stronger than Michael in a one-on-one fight.
Unfortunately, knowing my father, he won’t be going alone, like he expects Nero to. ”
“Who’s killing Michael?” There are a lot of people here that want him dead. Everyone in this room. My mother, Daniel, Nero. But I wonder who gets the honor?
“I will,” all four men say at once, making me smile.
