The high of the game was all around us. Everyone was cheering up and down, screaming the name of their so-called captain.

I almost laughed.

If only they knew I could have their captain come to heel with just one text.

It was exhilarating, the amount of power I now had. Power I never imagined wielding. Power I never intended to have in the first place.

Vulnerable people were easy to manipulate. It was human nature to want to seek justice, or to simply find the truth.

I sat down as all those around me cheered. If the rest of the game went as it had gone in the first and second periods, the Barracudas would be leaving victorious. I opened my phone to send two messages.

People began to jump up and down, going crazy that their team was going to win.

When the horn rang, I jumped up, but not to cheer with the rest of the incompetent people in this school.

I let the jersey I had borrowed on Halloween slide down my finger onto the ground, and made my way out, but not before sending the second text.
