Chapter 9 Gwen

“Spread wide, baby.”

Cin said the words with a growl, like he couldn’t wait to bury himself deep inside me.

I stared at the man stroking his impressive length with one hand, veins popping in his arms and neck. Chest and upper body fully covered in tattoos. The dark ink mixed with his fierce expression, the power emanating from him, and he seemed as close to a god as humanly possible.

No restraint left, he watched me as I slid my fingers over my clit, but I didn’t need the stimulation. Not with him in front of me. Cin turned me on without trying, just by staring at me with his intense gaze. I never met a guy so focused on me.

I welcomed him as he settled between my thighs, lining up before he surged forward and buried deep.

He was big all over, and his cock was no exception.

It took a few strokes to fully seat inside me.

A slight sting from the stretch followed, and I grasped his biceps, holding onto the smooth muscles as he groaned.

God, that sound. Guttural. Animalistic.

“You’re so tight. Fuck, Gwen.”

Cin didn’t wait for me to answer, drawing back before he plunged deep again. He fucked me slowly at first but quickly picked up speed. His hips set a brutal pace. A wild, carnal ride that had pleasurable jolts shooting through my core.

“So fucking good.” He lifted my leg, getting a better angle, and grinding into me as I moaned. “So perfect for me, aren’t you, my little deer?”

Cin lowered his head. For a few heartbeats, he just stared into my eyes, holding my gaze while he rolled his hips, pinning me to the mattress. He knew exactly how to move, to drive so deep that my eyes almost rolled back in my head.

“Kiss me,” I pleaded, wanting him closer. His skin on mine. Touching everywhere possible.

“Baby, I’ve got a lot of stamina. We’re going to be busy all night.”

I thought he was going to refuse.

But then he captured my mouth in a kiss both tender and commanding, urging me to open up and let his tongue in. He made another sound in his throat that sent shivers skating across my skin.

His hips plunged and with every thrust, I grew closer to an orgasm that might break me. My whole body quivered. I made sounds that I hardly recognized. Cin’s fingers dug into my hip as he gripped me. “Fuck, Gwen. You’re taking me so fucking good, aren’t you?”

I didn’t know I had a kink for dirty talk, but with this man, I found it. Every time he praised me or talked like this, I grew wetter. He could feel it.

“Yeah, you are. Look at you. Such a good girl taking my cock.” He grunted, driving deeper. Stroking faster. “I want you to say my name when you come. Need to hear it, baby.”

It hit with such force that I not only said his name, I prayed it to him like he was a god that I would worship forever, digging my nails into his arms. My body trembled, and my thighs shook from the force of the waves crashing through me.

Like a wild thing, I met his thrusts with equal fervor until I collapsed against the sheets.

I vaguely realized Cin had come with me. But he hadn’t stopped moving. He still glided in and out, kissing and nipping at my neck. Exploring with his tongue. Marking me with little nibbles of his teeth.

“Did you think I was finished?” He chuckled darkly. “I’m just getting started. Still so fucking hard for you, baby.”

True to his word, we both came several times before he pulled out and rolled onto his side. Slightly out of breath, he turned to me with a confident grin, grasping my chin. His lips pressed to mine. Gentle. Sweet.

“Need to clean you up. Be right back.”

I couldn’t resist staring at his ass as he walked away from me, his stride a prowling grace yet also purposeful. He really did look like a god. Some ancient, powerful being chiseled with perfection. I already wanted him again despite feeling sore and sticky between my legs.

Cin returned, holding a warm, wet washcloth. He sat on the edge of the bed and tenderly wiped away the combined fluids. “Fuck, Gwen. There’s a little blood.” His jaw clenched. “Did I hurt you?”

I shook my head. “No. You’re just big, Cin. I’m fine.”

“You sure?” He sounded anxious.

“I’m positive, but I could use a shower. Take one with me?”

“Of course.” He scooped me off the bed and swung my legs up, holding me as he strode toward my bathroom.

“You don’t have to carry me, Cin. I’m not made of glass. I won’t shatter,” I teased.

“You’re mine, Gwen. I take care of what’s mine.”

Funny how those words settled inside me. They filled my heart with something I couldn’t name but felt a lot like three little words I shouldn’t tell him yet. Sex didn’t equal love. I wasn’t a naive girl.

But I couldn’t help my heart’s reaction to this man.

And honestly, I just wanted to make the most of this while it lasted. To enjoy every moment with him.

Words didn’t make this special. He did. Every growled word, tender touch, and wicked stroke of his cock.

CIN STAYED WITH ME beyond dawn. When my alarm went off, I groaned and slapped at it, unhappy to move away from his warmth.

“You gotta be somewhere?” He asked with a sleep-filled rumble.

“I do.” A sigh escaped because this was perfect, and I didn’t want it to end. “I volunteer at the women’s shelter and teach a class once a month. Today is class day.”

“What do you teach?”

I slid away from him, but he caught me, hauling my back against his chest. One hand cupped my breast as he kissed my neck.

“Crafting. Junk journaling. It’s fun.” I gasped as he lightly bit my shoulder.

“Can I drop you off and pick you up afterward?”

“No.”

His grip tightened. “Why not?”

“I have a lot of supplies. They won’t fit on the back of a motorcycle even if I’d rather ride with you.”

His hold relaxed. “You need help loading your car?”

How the hell did I end up with a guy so thoughtful? “Actually, yes. That would be great. There are several boxes.”

His hand slapped my ass as I screeched. “Get dressed, baby. I’ll follow you to the shelter and help you bring them inside.”

I flipped over, cradling his face while his arms slid around me. “How did I get so lucky?”

He blinked, and for a second, shock registered in his green eyes. “What do you mean?”

“You’re a bit of a handful. Pushy. Overly confident.”

Cin’s lips lifted until his grin was too wide.

“But you’re also patient with me. Tender. So thoughtful, like right now with the boxes. I’ve never met anyone like you.”

“I’m fucking fantastic,” he announced with pride.

I rolled my eyes. “You’re ruining it.”

“Baby, I’ll ruin you. All night. Now get the fuck up and put clothes on before I change my mind and tie you to this bed.”

I shook my head as I slipped from the mattress, getting ready faster than I normally did because I was already running behind. Makeup was minimal. My hair pulled back into a ponytail away from my face. I decided on jeans, a loose dark blue T-shirt, and comfortable shoes.

Cin leaned against the door and watched me. As I approached, he tugged me closer, sliding one arm around my waist. “That shirt matches your eyes.”

I beamed a smile. “I know. Makes me look pretty.”

“Good enough to eat.” He struck like a viper, attacking my neck with his teeth.

A shiver swept over my skin, and I pushed him back. “Behave.”

“Just wait until tonight.”

“Don’t threaten me with a good time, Cin.” I pointed to the boxes in my closet. “Load my car.”

He lifted a brow in challenge and I bit my lip, knowing he’d never let me get away with this before today. Maybe sex had softened him a bit. “Pushing it, Bambi.”

I squirmed at the low, guttural tone.

The man kept his word and brought the boxes to my car. Once I locked up my apartment, he followed me on his bike to the shelter. I managed to arrive with twenty minutes to spare—enough time to set up before the class was scheduled to start.

I didn’t think about how it might look to bring a man no one had met inside the shelter. In my haste, I didn’t follow up with Cary, the owner.

She rushed outside as Cin picked up the boxes from the back of my car. “Gwen?”

“Hi, Cary. I’m all set for today. Just need to get these boxes inside the room first.”

“Honey, he can’t come in.” She gestured to Cin. Her gaze swept over him. I thought I saw her fingers tremble as she tucked loose strands of dark brown hair behind her ear. “We’ve got domestic violence survivors in there.”

Right. Cin was a big man. Intimidating. Not to mention he wore his cut with his club’s logo on it.

“I understand,” Cin answered before I could say a word. “If it’s okay, I’ll walk these to the door so Gwen can get them inside. They’re a bit heavy.”

Cary seemed to be uncomfortable. “No farther than the door.”

“No problem.” Cin seemed a bit tense, but he followed us to the entrance and waited as I took each box, one at a time, inside the building.

When I finished with the boxes, I returned for my purse and locked up my car. “Thank you. I’ll see you this evening.”

“Yeah, you will.”

Cin nearly swept me off my feet as he kissed me, so thoroughly claiming my mouth that I was dazed when he released me.

His hand shot out, making sure I was steady before he walked toward his bike.

As he rode away on his Harley, the paint gleaming in the sunshine, I wondered if it was possible to be this happy, and if it would last.

I sure hoped it would.

Cary met me at the door and followed me into the room I used for classes. “Wow. Who was that, Gwen?”

“My guy. He’s an eyeful, isn’t he?”

“Oh, yeah. Sin wrapped up with a bow. Temptation city.”

“You have no idea.”

She shook her head as if to clear it. “Sorry about not letting him in. I’ve never seen a man that covered in ink and so tall. He could be a tree with that height.”

Tree. That was an odd thing to say. “I suppose so. He looks intimidating, but he’s not. He wouldn’t hurt a woman.”

“I can’t take that chance, Gwen.”

I set down the supplies I picked up and rushed toward her, wrapping Cary in a hug. “I know. I’m not upset with you. The women and children here have to remain protected.”
