Chapter Six #3

He ignited every nerve ending. My nails raked his shoulders as I rocked back, chasing the friction coiling low in my belly.

“Keep breathing,” he murmured, forehead resting against mine.

I drew air deep, heart hammering, as the burn softened into a raw, pulsing rhythm that begged to move.

“Move,” I panted. “Just move.”

He slipped almost all the way out, then slammed back in, his thick shaft dragging against my slick heat and shooting electric jolts up my spine. Again. He hammered in a torturous, perfect tempo.

“Heavier.” I looped my legs around his hips, my heels digging into his ass. “I can take it.”

He thrust harder, plunging deeper, and a low, wet moan tore free from me. My toes curled as his angle caught that sweet spot inside, every slam driving me wild.

“There,” I choked out. “Don’t you dare stop.”

“Why would I?” His grip on my hips tightened until I felt the sting of bruising. “I’m gonna fuck you so hard you won’t even know your own name.”

Each brutal thrust cranked me higher, pressure building in my balls until they ached for release. My cock drooled hot pre-cum, slicking down my belly as skin slid against skin. I was drowning in raw sensation—his dick inside me, stirring every nerve.

“Fuck, you feel so tight,” Diesel growled, his hips pistoning. “Made for my cock, aren’t you?”

“Yes,” I groaned, voice raw. “All of me. Yours.”

His gaze went molten. He shifted his angle again, burying himself deeper until my back arched off the mattress. Every savage slam pounded that spot deep inside, and I shattered beneath him.

“Stroke yourself,” he ordered, voice thick. “I wanna watch you cream.”

My hand shot to my throbbing dick, jerking in time with his relentless thrusts. The twin agony and ecstasy nearly ripped me apart.

“I’m close. Gonna explode.”

“Do it,” he snarled, thrusts ramping up into a frenzy. “Let go, Ollie.”

Lightning detonated in my brain. White-hot pleasure flooded me as I came, cum pulsing across my fist and stomach while my tight walls clenched around his cock. I screamed, and somewhere in the blur I felt his teeth sink into my shoulder. Sharp fire against the bliss.

Diesel growled, his hips stuttering, then shuddered as he thrust his release deep inside me. He held me tight, teeth still grazing my skin, prolonging every aftershock until my world spun raw and quivering.

Finally he released my shoulder and collapsed, chest pressing into mine, pinning me to the bed. We both panted, sweat cooling over our spent bodies.

“That was…” My voice clipped off, mind still too fried by those brutal waves of pleasure to form more words.

“Yeah.” Diesel lifted his head, his blue eyes soft as they met mine. “You okay?”

My hand found his face, my thumb tracing along his jaw. “That was perfect.”

Pulling out carefully, he rolled onto his side, then gathered me against him, arranging us so my head rested on his shoulder and his arm wrapped around my waist.

The bite on my shoulder throbbed, but it was a good ache. The kind that would remind me of this moment every time I moved.

“Stay?” I asked. “Tonight, I mean. Stay tonight.”

“Wasn’t planning on leaving, mate.” His lips pressed against my forehead. “Not going anywhere.”

Relief flooded through me, and I burrowed closer to his warmth. Outside, the world kept turning. Gerald was probably still at the paint class. Miss Patty was probably burning more incense, and our paintings were propped against my living room wall, drying.

But here, in my bed, wrapped in Diesel’s arms… This was everything. This was exactly where I belonged.

“Thank you,” I whispered against his skin.

“For what?”

“For tonight. For coming to the paint class. For letting me defend you, even though you didn’t need it.”

His arm tightened around me. “I did need it. Needed to know you’d fight for me.”

“Always.” The promise came easily. “Nobody talks about you like that. Not while I’m around.”

“My little scrapper.” Affection colored his tone. “Gonna get yourself in trouble one of these days.”

“You have my back.”

“Without a doubt.”

My eyes started to drift closed, exhaustion from the adrenaline crash and the sex pulling me under. But something nagged at me, keeping me from fully relaxing into sleep.

Fated mates one night, enemies to lovers the next—reading moods change.

“Diesel?”

“Hmm?”

“Gerald was wrong. About you. About everything.”

“I know.”

“No, I mean—” The words tangled in my throat. “You’re good and kind, even when people don’t deserve it. And you showed up tonight because I wanted to paint, even though you had to know it would be terrible. That matters.”

His hand found the back of my head, his fingers threading through my hair. “You matter. Everything else is just noise.”

Tears pricked at my eyes, unexpected and overwhelming. Nobody had ever said something like that to me before. Nobody had ever made me feel like I was the important part, like everything else really was just background noise.

I let myself sink into the warmth of him. Into the safety of his arms and the knowledge that I’d found something rare. Something worth defending, worth fighting for, worth keeping.
