Epilogue.
The Legendary Shifters
“Tisi, I’m quite happy at the castle,” he insisted as Tisi glowered at him.
“Well, I want you home.”
“No. I want to stay and get to know the mates. Stop being a child,” Gargoyle scolded, and those around them stared in bemusement. Not many dared chastise the powerful Tisi.
“Fine! Just remember your way home later!” Tisiphone opened a portal and stepped through.
“Sheesh, she’s got bossier,” Gargoyle stated as he wandered towards the castle. “Hey, Fang banger, where am I staying?”
Vladimir scowled as Gargoyle waddled inside. “Send him to Tisiphone,” Vladimir complained. Something caught his eye, and he stopped and gazed out at the lake.
Sitting there was the human Dair and Bronwen. Bronwen had her head on Diar’s shoulder, and they were talking. Was he witnessing another pairing, or had Bronwen finally started coming out of her shell?
“She’s healing,” Liadun murmured, and Vladimir nodded.
“About time. Do you think they’re mates?” he asked.
“Anything is possible,” Andie said as she passed. She looked thinner than ever, and Vladimir frowned.
“Andie, have you seen Lilith recently or Baba Yaga?” he demanded.
“Vladimir, there is no cure for what ails me. In time, the truth will come out, and you’ll have your answers. Be patient.” Andie smiled and continued into the gardens. Vladimir noted she was spending a lot of time there lately.
“She’ll not talk yet,” Liadun murmured.
“No. I just hope it’s not too late when she does,” Vladimir replied. On that note, he set out to find his mate and child. It was playtime.
